So Uluru is great, Ayer's Rock is amazing but what really stands out is Mark and the amazing experience he provides. Our tour felt intimate, exclusive and tailored to our wants and needs. Mark is a really fun and truly great guy who is knowledgeable and respectful to the Aboriginal culture and people. You will not be disappointed by this tour. We stopped to see the sun go down which is a great opportunity to buy Aboriginal art directly from the local natives, we saw wild camels and really enjoyed Mark's stories as we drove (in AC) and walked around Ayers Rock. It's also noteworthy that the bus (Roxy) is large, air conditioned and spacious and the camp is clean and comfortable. Sorry, Ayer's Rock, Mark is the true Rockstar here!

Visiting Uluru is of corse the highlight but what made is such an experience was the Rockstars NT and the owner and tour guide Marc! He is so knowledgeable of the area and the topics and at the same time excellent about caring for everyone in the group and creating an nice atmosphere. He only does small groups which gives it a very personal touch, as he aviods all crowds and custom makes each day after the groups wishes. Probably the best tour guide I ever have had!

Hey Georgie thanks so much for taking the time to write me a little review! Adapting to the situation and people on my bus is by far the best way to operate out here because no two days are ever really the same. That's the beauty of being the little guy out here I have the ability to look at the situation and do what's best for you on the day :)

This trip was gorgeous! First of all an amazing thing to do, it's just a once in a lifetime experience. Visiting the Red centre, learning about the culture and sleeping under the stars in a swag. I would strongly recommend this to people who really want to have the outback experience. And what better then to do it in a small group? Where you get a lot of attention and where the tour guide tries to avoid the big groups of tourists.

During the tour you will get the opportunity to walk by yourself at Uluru. But also go on a hike (at Uluru and Kata tjuta) and be guided by the tour guide AKA chef, comedian, driver, PA, photographer and DJ. The legendary Mark, you are the best! From the moment I stepped in the car I felt comfortable, it didn't even felt like touring but just like roadtripping with a mate. You can ask Mark anything and he will not stop giving you all the information he knows about culture, plants, trees, desert, animals etc. Etc. Thank you so much for making my outback adventure unforgettable. Extra points for the way how you made sure everything was peanut and nut free for my allergy, thanks for taking care of that.

It was just amazing, still have a big smile on my face and again thanks for everything! Mark I really hope you will make it between all the big fishes out there😉

When we booked our Uluru tour with a travel agent we didn’t really know what kind of tour we booked. We wanted a short tour, just one night at the Uluru. That’s how we got to the rockstars. Our tour guide Mark started his own business some months ago after 10 years of experience in the Outback scene. We were a group of 8 people which was his biggest tour ever, so if you are looking for a small personal tour you have to go with mark! I think you really get a better insight in the whole world of the Aboriginis when you go with a small tour. Mark is a really caring person, you will feel really special being a part of this group. You can learn a lot from him because you get to know the Uluru on a personal level. It’s not like all the big tour groups where it’s the same program everyday. With mark every day and every tour is different. He really looks after you and your interests. And besides that he takes the best photos and he’s a really good cook :) We has a lot of fun and I would come back to the Uluru just to do the same tour again!

It's actually the people on the bus that make the tour as much as the amazing place we are visiting Romy! Knowing exactly who is with me and being able to engage properly with each and every one of you is the reason I put this little company together. Don't be a number on a coach packed with people - be a ROCKSTAR!! :D

I had an absolutely great tour with Mark. It felt really personal and he took us to places where there wasn't a lot of people. He really cared about making us have a great time which we did. He had so much enthusiasm about the cultural and I really learnt a lot. I would definitely recommend.

Mark is one of the longest serving tours guys and it’s shows. He was very informative while making it a fun trip. He has one of the best camps and sleeping under the stars in our swags was a great experience. Roxy the tour bus is very comfortable with a/c. Highly recommend this tour with less people instead of being herded around in a large group.

Watching the big tour groups being herded around the National Park en-mass only motivates me more to run my small tours and find the space between the craziness that is everyone else. This is an incredibly quiet and spiritual landscape that really needs to be experienced in that way. Thanks for the amazing feedback i hope the rest of your travels are just as amazing!

Mark is an experienced tour guide who’s worked in the area for many years at pretty much all the regular big name companies in the area. His vast expertise and connections from his time allows him to plan itineraries away from the huge crowds and even some secret off the path locations so you get way more than the standard tour :)

He’s also very accommodating, I went with my parents and he took us on some alternate routes that would be less strenuous.

He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area and as the sole business owner giving tours you know he’s super passionate.

He’s also super friendly and a joy to chat with for the 2 days you spend with him. Not to mention an amazing cook!

All in all, this is an incredible deal you won’t want to miss out on! Signup to be a rockstar today

I had the best time with this tour! I would rate it 10 stars if I could. The first thing that caught my eye with this tour was that it was only one night and that was the perfect amount of time to explore everything around the area. Mark was the best guide! He was very knowledgable about the history and culture of everything and kept everyone interested. He was also very outgoing and loved getting to know everyone. You can tell he loves his job. I loved that this tour is a small one also. The surrounding areas were so beautiful and such a peaceful area. Mark knew the best places to take sunset pictures and great pictures in general. After the sunset we got to our campsite and had a wonderful meal waiting for us that was healthy and delicious! Another reason I loved this experience was we were able to sleep outside in a swag under the stars! It was absolutely amazing. The next morning we had a great breakfast then went about to watch the sunrise and go for a hike! 10/10 would recommend

Outback tour with Rockstars . Had an absolutely amazing tour of Uluru and Kata-tjuta with the great tour guide Mark! I highly recommend this tour as it’s a small group tour and it was a great way to meet similar travellers.
I also enjoyed camping outside with stargazing!

Mark is a great guide with so much knowledge about the culture and history of the places.
He made breakfast and dinner and it was superb too

For mark being a tour guide in the red centre is not a job. It is a passion and a vocation. His knowledge is impressive, his hospitality, exceptional and his motive, noble. We were so very lucky to stumble across him on a Google search. You cannot get a more authentic experience so simply than Mark’s rockstars offers.
