Returning back to the inland bay where you started, you will depart your transportation and take a stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor. The town was first mentioned in 168 BC, and was settled during Ancient Roman times, when it was known as Acruvium, It has been fortified since the early Middle Ages, The city became part of the Venetian Republic in 1420 and except for two periods of Ottoman rule, it remained under Venice until 1797, It is these four centuries of Venetian domination that have given the city the typical Venetian architecture. It served as a naval base during World War I and luckily avoided any serious damage from either World War. Kotor has one of the best preserved medieval old towns in the Adriatic and is home to several sights of interest, including the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (1166), and the ancient walls which stretch for 3 miles on the steep hillside directly above the city. From here, your guide can make suggestions for further sightseeing, shopping or the gate that leads to the cruise pier across the street from the Old Town.

    Kotor shore excursion
This is a prearranged transport only to Budva for tour on your own, photo stop for Sveti stevan, then ride back to Kotor. Do not expect any information from the driver about any of the places you visit. The driver will meet you outside the port. I was disappointed no information was provided

    Great Value
This an excellent way to see much of Cappadocia. They pick you up and deliver you back to your hotel both days. The tours cover most of the best sites and is not hurried, leaving you plenty of time for photography. The lunches are both very good. The guide was excellent. Altogether great value and highly recommendable.

Local trip drivers don't speak English. Couldn't describe where we were and we didn't know where he was supposed to take us. Local tour operator stated they don't have English speaking drivers. She hung up on us and blocked further calls from us. Had to try to get refund from my credit card company as we never did take this trip. When we asked driver if he spoke English he looked at us and shrugged his shoulders. He said "driver only".

The tour couldn’t have been any better! It fit in perfectly with out travel dates and allowed us to experience the best of Cappadocia in the time we had. P.S. Thanks for accepting our booking at the very last minute :)

    Exotic and interesting sights
Good way to see several different sights and hikes in Cappadocia. The green tour is quite strenuous; includes a lot of walking and crawling into tunnels of the underground city.

Nice way to spend 2 days in Capadoccia
We had a great time with the tour, not only for seeing but experiencing Capadoccia. We enjoyed all the information provided by our outstanding guide Sibel, she took us on some very good and scenic walks through the parks and hills. Even the stops that we usually don’t like (tapestry store, pottery craft, jewelry and Turkish candies) were nice and interesting for feeling the Capadoccia life style and culture. We also stopped at some places that weren’t on the script (ex: a carved family house that is fully furnished and stands as a free museum, maintained by the good souvenir shop they keep). The included meals are a downside, not for the quality and quantity, but for the service that was not so good. We found the red tour much better than the green, but if you have a couple of days In Capadoccia I think is a nice and smart way to feel and experience the region. And as most of the tours it starts at about 9:30 every day, so you can easily do in the same day of the balloon flight.

Interesting tour covered the highlights but the political discussions were unneeded.
TourbyLocal guide, Tatiana, did a good job of guiding us through Kotot and our visit to Lady of the Rocks. Tatiana had an excellent knowledge and worked hard to convey the highlights but sometimes with too much enthusiasim for her process. "Please, look here while I speak we can take pictures afterwards." We had a nice day with someone who worked very hard but never were able to connect beyond that. Knowledgeable guide, too much focus on political issues and an occassional smile would help the factual medicine more palatable.

    Good tour around Cappadocia
I had a good time on this two-day tour in Cappadocia; the tour guide Seca is very informative and fun, and Cappadocia region has very amazing landscape and history. The tour operator has been quite responsive and helpful. The only downside is the hotel (Cappadocia Abras Cave Hotel) that I stayed in was undergoing maintenance and there was issue with water supply. It got fixed but there was no hot water for shower. Also, it was a pity that the hot air balloon ride got cancelled due to poor weather condition, but I got a refund from the tour operator.

Do not book, Terible communication, awful service, no responsibility
Nightmare through and through. Communication was poor, responses were minimal, and details lacking. Was not helpful on providing what to expect, how to prepare, an no clue on the itinerary. Better if you just do it all on your own or go with a more reputable agency. Hassle to get any communication from company after booking. Called a dozen times and they had a dismissive attitude. Only replied when I escalated to viator, but with bare minimum and nothing helpful. Received our flight details only 12 hours before departure. They lie by omission. They say your tour starts when you land at 7:30am, but really it starts at 10:15am, 3 hours later after 4 transfer and picking up employee's and other guests. Technically I guess it does start after you land, but no it doesn't actually No information on our hotels the first night leading to huge amounts of frustration, fear, and uncertainty. They they gave wrong hotel information and we had to get another tour company to call 9 different hotels to see where we were actually booked. But Kotor tour tells us we were "upgraded", this hardly the truth because the two hotels are in different cities and never told us. The transfers they book are all wrong as well. There was a guy holding a sign that had my name, but significantly misspelled, but we didn't figure this out after passing each other up a dozen times. They are not actually tour providers, they contract local companies out but the quality of the tours are bad. The local tour company, Turkey Magic Travel, was awful. The tour guide was unprofessional, knew very little and provided little information. He was rude to all passengers and doesn't answer questions. It's better if you just get a lonely planet book. Prepare to spend significantly more time at a terrible dirty buffet dining hall and tourist shop then actually at the sites. We contacted Kotor about issues and request a stoppage and refund, but they replied that everything is according to the itinerary. They lie through technicalities. Second day tour company, Alaturk Turkey Tours, managed to be good but , that's not because of Kotor tour. Kotor tour didn't provide us with any information on transfers or when the next tour began. The transfer guy again had our names misspelled, so we wandered around for a long time before figuring it out. We didn't know what time our morning tour would start, but luckily our hotel said most tours start at 9:30. Until this point, most started at 7:30-8am. We didn't get an email from Kotor about start time until the middle of the night around midnight after previous escalation, and we were already asleep. Again lies of technicalities since they did provide tour start time but only when we were sleeping. Cappadocia is a 2 day tour, but Kotor tours booked us backwards and we did the 2nd day first, everyone else did the tour in the right order. So the tour guide kept referring to the previous day and we were confused. There was little information he could give to catch us up. Also another lie of omission is that they say the tour is in English, but they don't tell you the tour is in Turkish mostly and most of the guests are Turkish, so you get barely half the information. Also I called in before booking and asked about tour size. They said 14 max, but it had 20. In hindsight, I would not book this tour again. I was busy planning other parts of the trip. But it would have been easier if I just winged it.  This is the only company that refuses to send out details, that I’ve come across. Also knowing that they are not actually the tour operator makes us feel as if we were ripped off by a middle man. When we realized how big the mark ups were, we felt like we received an extremely poor deal.  We were flying blind the whole time and that was way worse then winging it ourselves last minute, which would have at least given us control and clarity.

    Kotor visit to Pervast
Did a tour of Kotor with Bilyana through Toursbylocals. It was an excellent experience. She was as serene as this beautiful location in Montenegro. I highly recommend this tour with her.

    Best excursion in Kotor
Four of us arranged a tour of Boca Bay from Kotor. Our guide, Dusan Drakic, was the best. He had a great sense of humor and was very informative. Evey think went as planned. We visited many beautiful towns around the bay. Perast was one of our favorites. We ended up in Kotor where we were guided around the town and ended up having a late lunch around 3:00. One thing I would suggest is that the lunch should have been in Perast as by the time we were back in Kotor we were hungry. Again, a great shout out to our guide Dusan. You should request him for this tour.

Unos completos informales.
