Tour Kotor - Island Our Lady of the the Rock - Blue Cave -Every 3 hours
Tour the bays of Kotor, Herceg Novi and Tivat with this exciting boat tour of Boka Bay. Stops include a visit to the famed Our Lady of the Rocks church and a swim in the Blue Cave.
What to Expect

Starting time from 09:00 am - 09:00 pm every 3 hours .
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
During this 3-hour tour you will learn Montenegro’s history from the water and gain a first-hand appreciation of the close connection the people have with the sea.
Enjoy panoramic views of Kotor Bay with its quaint fishing villages, medieval churches and more nestled at the base of sheer cliffs. Take a few minutes to visit Our Lady of the Rocks church, a small Roman Catholic building erected on an artificial island created over centuries by local fisherman who laid a rock in the bay after each successful voyage.
Journey over to Tivat Bay where you can admire the mega yachts and pretty coves dotting the coastline. Herceg Novi Bay will romance you with its Byzantine and oriental architectural styles. It is also home to Mamula, an uninhabited islet dominated by a former Austro-Hungarian fortress. You will also make a quick stop at an ex-submarine military base.
While in Herceg Novi, take a refreshing dip in the iconic Blue Cave. Accessible only by boat, this cave is so named due to the way the light hits the bottom and makes the whole cave look blue.
Throughout the tour you will be provided with cold water, comfortable seat cushions and a tent for sun protection.
Reserve your seat in the boat and get ready to enjoy postcard-perfect views of Boka Bay under the shimmering Mediterranean sun.
About Boka Bay
No matter whether you enter Boka by land or by sea - your experience will the same - Boka will fascinate you! It looks as if the mountains have cracked and let the sea in. This is the southernmost fjord in Europe. The high mountains bend over the thin coastline thus protecting it from the severe climate from the north. That is why Boka is an oasis of Mediterranean vegetation: agave, palm, mimosa, oleander, kiwi, pomegranate, medicinal herbs. When its peaks are covered with snow, the roses bloom in the foothills.
The church Gospa od Skrpjela (Our Lady if the Rock)
is located at the same named island which is located in bay of Boka Kotorska across the beautiful small and peaceful town Perast. This church was raised in 1630 on an artificial island, which was built by fishermen from Perast. According to a legend these fishermen after the shipwreck found on a sea rock an icon of Holy Mother of God with Christ and vowed that right on that spot where the icon was found they will build a church, which will be dedicated to this icon of the Holy Mother of God, protector of sailors and fishermen.
The Blue Grotto
is one of the most attractive in a series of caves located on the peninsula Lustica, situated between the bay Zlatna luka (Golden Harbour) and cape Mokra gora (Wet Mountain). It is 5.7 nm far from Herceg Novi.

The scenery was great but the transportation was not.

The tour and the sights was good, but very little information was provided. The boat driver cut out tour short by 30 minute as he "had an appointment". Also the boat on the side said 8 person occupancy and there were 14 people on the...More

Great tour!

I can highly recommend the tour, we saw everything that was written in the tour description. But I would recommend to take the tour at 9:00 and not at 12:00 as the blue cave was VERY crowed and we couldn't get in the cave. We...More

I would be wary, it's a small boat that travels very vast and bounces around pretty bad, they do not give lifejackets either.
