Overview
Watch humpback whales in the waters of Hervey Bay on this guided family-friendly catamaran cruise off the coast of Queensland, Australia. View the marine mammals through the boat’s underwater windows or listen to them communicate with the on-board hydrophones. Along the way, learn about the species from your guide. Plus, take home a free whale-watching DVD.
What to Expect
Head to Great Sandy Straits Marina to meet your guide and board the specially designed air-conditioned whale-watching catamaran. Then, sail out to Hervey Bay, a popular whale-watching destination in Queensland, Australia, while learning about the marine mammals from your guide.

Spot humpback whales in their natural habitat either through the boat’s underwater viewing windows or on its outdoor platform. Whale sightings are guaranteed; if you don't spot any you’ll be able to book another Hervey Bay cruise for a different day. The catamaran is also equipped with hydrophones so you can hear the whales sing.

Tea and coffee with biscuits and cake are served on the way out to the bay, while an antipasto platter to share is provided on the cruise back to the marina. Drinks from the bar are available for purchase as well. Plus, take home a free whale-watching DVD at the end of the tour.
