We were traveling with Grand Circle Travel and the jet boat was an extra (paid) option, not included as part of our tour. I was so glad I opted to do this! My friend and I expressed some nervousness about our stomachs and all the spinning, so we and a few others were placed in the Stingray with Lex at the helm. He simultaneously showed us the most exciting and the least nauseating time! He asked us if it we were okay doing a couple of spins, which were awesome! We loved tearing through the water! The incredibly beautiful scenery in the calm lake Manapouri area provided a breathtaking counterpoint to all the thrill riding.The knowledgeable and always entertaining Lex stopped to point out a few spots where LOTR movies had been filmed. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and if anyone is considering it, I’d recommend it highly!

The jet boat tour with John (the skipper) was the highlight of our NZ trip. John provided great and amusing commentary, drove the boat with such skill, and catered for people of all adventure levels. If you're nervous about how fast or rough it might be, don't be, John will make sure it's all within everyone's comfort zone. If you are an adventure seeker, you'll still have plenty of adrenaline and fun! This is a MUST DO in The Anou!

Absolutely fantastic trip The team was fantastic we had an amazing time. My wife was a bit nervous about the jet boat but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Also getting out and walking in the national park was amazing so un touched. I would definitely go again.

A fantastic trip. John our driver was very informative and the kids loved the 360s. Absolutely stunning and tranquil part of NZ that you can only see by boat.

The most incredible experience I have ever had, stunning surroundings paired with fun. Our bus driver, and John shared their wealth of knowledge about wild life, along with information about the mountains, rock formations and Lord of the rings views. Will definitely do this again. A treasure in Te Anau. Thank you to the whole team. Including the Mouse where we shared an end of trip drink and snax. Just an all rounded epic experience.

This was an absolute outstanding experience. John - our jetboat driver - was incredible. The support crew were so friendly and helpful. The actual jetboat ride was next level amazing. The commentary and stops along the trip make for some wondrous surprises. My wife was nervous about going on the trip as she hasn't spent a lot of time on the water, and she was concerned about the spins. Afterwards she made a point of telling John that he made her feel very safe; the anxiety was gone. She loved it! If this is the only thing you do in Te Anau - do this!

This was definitely a highlight of my trip with my sister. Our guide, Lex, was great, gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos, asked the group if everyone was comfortable doing some spins on the water, and shared so much knowledge of the park with us.

Best activity we did in New Zealand. The scenery was indescribably beautiful, and when the boat was stopped it was an amazingly peaceful experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful and our jet boat pilot, Lex, was the absolute best. He was very knowledgeable and obviously loves the area and was keen to show us its beauty. The 360 spins were fun and there was no deliberately getting us wet! I also loved that we got to go onshore at Cosy Nook and walk in the forest. Overall it was a great experience

Good experience! It is worth to come and has fun here. My captain is Lex.(not sure but you can see from the pic) is nice and friendly. Also he gave us time to take photos. However, on the jet you will be fine and be dry. My kids have fun and ask for more spin and more spin. Thank you for the great experience!

We did the Jet boat trip experience, took about two hours. Was such a brilliant experience with our little trip to the lake on the bus, and then onto the jet boat. Such a stunning view, with lots of knowledge and facts about the lord of the rings, which I never knew was filmed there!!! Worth doing, and decently priced!

John our driver was very professional and showed us the "hidden" areas not normally seen. The support team were very friendly and equipment provided was greatly appreciated. For us this far exceeded the Shotover Jet experience as far more rhan just speed and spinning

The views were amazing, the skipper and everyone else who works there was amazing. Lot of good humour that brings some good energy.
