This tour was the highlight of my trip to New Zealand. The helicopter flights were amazing. We landed on a snow covered glacier on our way to Milford Sound which was a great experience. The Milford Sound cruise was also fantastic. We had beautiful sunny weather which made the trip more enjoyable. Our pilot was very friendly and informative and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Queenstown.

This was the highlight of our New Zealand trip. The organisation from booking, check-in and the flight itself was excellent. The weather was good - enabling us to land on a glacier and to get up close to the dramatic mountains. The transfer to the boat taking us along Milford sound was seamless and added another dimension to seeing this beautiful landscape. We would thoroughly recommend this trip as an inclusion in your itinerary as it is the only way most will be able to appreciate the real beauty and scale of the landscape. Something we will remember for years to come!

One of the most memorable experiences of my life. The views were just breathtaking, our pilot was awesome and very knowledgeable and the whole Glacier team was first class. We did the extended tour of Milford Sound and definitely recommend. We'll be back. Thank you so much!

This experience was absolutely breathtaking and amazing! The employees at discovery upon arrival were very friendly and thorough with their safety instructions. Our helicopter pilot Michael was awesome, he was very professional and knew his stuff which made me feel very safe because I was a little scared to be quite honest of the helicopter part. If you are deciding between the helicopter and the helicopter in Cruz trip, I would take the ladder because Milford sound is absolutely stunning and you get to see it from every angle. It is quite crowded because there are other people that scheduled the Milford sound tour as well. When we went, there were a lot of people on the boat.

The coolest thing I have ever done! Don’t let the price tag scare you away. It is INCREDIBLE. Pilot Michael did a phenomenal job. Beautiful views.

We had a wonderful experience which was well organised from pick up to drop off. The flight was spectacular and our pilot Luke was wonderful giving us an interesting and informative commentary. We would highly recommend this experience.

This was easily the best mountain and snow helicopter flight I’ve been on. The day was incredible with alpine landings and a landing also in Milford Sound. The Pilot Cody was an incredible host and real asset to your business. Smooth flight and wonderful scenery. I would recommend this flight to everyone.

This was a great first helicopter tour for us. Jeremy was an excellent pilot! He rotated us through the cabin so that all of us had chances to see views from the front and different sides of the helicopter. The view of the mountain ridges and the glaciers were some of the most incredible things we have ever seen.

This was amazing. Extremely well organised, picked up from our hotel after it was confirmed that the weather was good. Very friendly staff, clear concise safety briefing and up and away. Just 4 of us plus the pilot. I was in the front with an amazing view. Compared to the Franz Joseph helicopter trip up to the glacier, this one to me, landing on the Remarkables, was in lots of ways better. You didn’t feel as much a part of a conveyor belt on this one and we got a good commentary on the way up and down. Landing up on the Remarkables allowed us to take lots of fabulous photos as well. Thoroughly recommend it!

We "splurged" on the 2hr tour with starting point in Queenstown. We are so happy that we did this. Every interaction was professional and friendly. The tour brought memories for a lifetime with my Dad. It is often the first thing we talk about when people ask about our 2 weeks in NZ. Our whole trip was wonderful, but this stood out as a highlight. 2 hours was the right amount of time, and the start in QT allowed us to have the rest of the day for other activities. Luke was a perfect pilot and tour guide.

It was a awesome trip. We got so close to the mountains, landed on one and took too many photos. A must do when in Queenstown. The cost is worth it.

Trip of a lifetime ! Exciting , safe and this is definitely a bucket list trip .. just do it you won’t regret it . Set off on beautiful sunny day . Pilots warned us weather wasn’t great at Milford . Amazing views of glaciers on flight to Milford . Cruise also good . Left for return to Queenstown but pilots couldn’t safely get through cloud so returned . Facing a four hour coach back the owner flew out and guided back the four helicopters . Not once did we feel any risks were taken , just a determination, to ensure we all had a great time . Highly skilled pilots .. great trip . Thank you Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters . Thanks also to Jack the pilot and the owner who saved the day. Brilliant !

The views were INSANE! It was a truly magical experience. We had Jeremy as our pilot and he was amazing. I didn't feel nervous at all. A must do as long as you aren't afraid of heights. Plus, landing on the glacier was an experience of a lifetime.
