Great tour of Wellington.
Our tour guide, Dean, picked us up at our cruise dock for the full day tour and brought us back to the dock to board our cruise ship.
We went to Mr. Victoria, toured the Weta Workshop, took the Wellington Cable car and Dean took us for a tour of the city.
We were a group of 5 and Dean personalized our tour, gave us suggestions as to what to see and found a shop to buy cigars for a member of our group.
He was very professional, witty, had a great sense of humor, and very knowledgeable about the city.
Our group highly recommends this tour with Dean from the cruise dock.

From my very first contact with Richard Bialy in February 2019 to the actual tour in March 2020, his commitment to working together was beyond compare. I have organized tours world-wide and must say Richard made it easy to 'go outside the wheelhouse' with this extraordinary day. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Kudos to you, Richard. Till we return to Wellington!

Ray our tour guide and driver was incredible! He was not only so engaging but well connected. The only downside was the 1 1/2 hour bus ride from the cruise port to Wellington and then back again!!! It would have been helpful to have known this before we booked this tour. The tour of Wellington only took 45 minutes total so it was a long day, although the scenery was awesome.

Thank you for your review it is much appreciated.
I think you might have your cities mixed up. It sounds like you are talking about going from Akaroa to Christchurch as this does takes about 1.5 hours from the port and I am aware that the tour of Christchurch itself only takes 45 minutes.
In Wellington you are in the city in 5 minutes. Ray looked after you in a full day Wellington Tour not Christchurch.
Ray is one of our Wellington guides and is an incredible tour guide full of knowledge and fun. So hopefully when you refer to Ray it is about your Wellington Tour.

Ray picked us up promptly in a nice clean comfortable van. He had us introduce ourselfs, and by the end with the fellow passengers, we were like family.
We were given a great tour of Wellington. Everything from lookout points to gardens with the City in-between. Ray was knowledgeable and he made it fun. Five Stars!!

Richard took us on a full day tour to see Wellington on 21st of August.
He showed us all the attractions we wanted to see and some more.
He is very knowledgable but does not overload you with his knowledge.
It was a perfect sightseeing day for us.
He did everything in a very nice and outgoing manner.
Highest recommendations!!!

I had a great day. The best sightseeing day tour ever. Richard has incredible knowledge about wellington/history past and present. Pretty much covered everything in a day with lunch being included. It was an amazing experience. I promise you won't be disappointed with this tour. Just call or email them how many people are in your group or solo, they'll get it sorted. We had an excellent day with Richard as he took my family around Wellington.... my kids had a wonderful time going around Wellington, visiting Zealandia. We had a great lunch at the Chocolate Fish Cafe and seeing the trolls at the Weta Workshop

Had a lovely day seeing the highlights of Wellington with Richard owner and guide of Xplor. The tour was well paced and not rushed. The included lunch was scrumptious and in an out it the way place, best vegetarian burger ever and my friend enjoyed her fish meal. Richard is fun company and had lots of local info. A full day tour that speed by with a great mix of beautiful scenery and city sites. Highly recommended if you have limited time in Wellington

Richard is a bonza bloke. That is Aussie talk for the real deal. Everything was run to perfection. All the sights seen were top class. The timing excellent. We had so much in common we could have done another day tour. I strongly recommend this company to all who may be contemplating a tour of Wellington.
