We had a great afternoon and evening with Phil. We wanted to get out of the city itself and see some of the breweries a bit further out. Phil got us in at late notice to see Chris at Kereru, where I had two of the best beers I've ever had - a French Saison and a truffle infused, barrel aged barley wine. Next stop was a bit more corporate craft at Panhead in Beertown, then on to Baylands Brewing which was pumping. Phil was great on recommendations and knows the breweries really well. Thanks!!

Simon was an excellent host for our tour. He took into account the make up of our group and our requests, in particular noting we were all keen to try some local gin as well as wine. We were very lucky with amazing weather! The tour bus was comfy and clean and the venues we visited were so friendly and informative. Lunch venue was absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful day in Martinborough, enjoying lots of yummy food and wine. Phil was a great host, and we had plenty of time at each place we visited, so the day was very relaxed. I loved all the food and wine, and the scenery was stunning. I highly recommend this day trip

We went on a half day Martinborough winery tour. Our guide was Phil who was extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects. On the way we chatted about what wines we like and he tailored our trip to suit. We tasted some lovely wines at three wineries and had lunch at a lovely restaurant attached to one of the wineries. On the way back we stopped off at a cheesery and tried some local produce. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would certainly recommend it.

I had the best time on this tour!! It was so lovely to leave the city and see the beautiful scenery on the way to the coast. There were plenty of stops and so many experiences to take part in.

We wanted a quick overview of Martinborough wine region. Normally would book a private tour. Simon, our driver and guide was excellent. Lunch at Moy Hall was a real pleasant surprise. All five travelers were pleased with lunch with the Turkish lamb and gnocchi the stars. Wines were good with nothing exceptional but all in all a great day with Simon

Simon was an excellent guide and driver -- friendly, kind/patient and knowledgeable (particularly strong knowledge of local Māori history, which we really appreciated!)... We also enjoyed the range of wineries visited (a different set of three than we'd seen on a list somewhere, but great to visit these anyway and have a glimpse into different scales of operations)

Such a lovely day in a beautiful part of the country. Comfortable van ride, fabulous wine tastings and delicious lunch. Our guide was so nice and very knowledgeable!

We really enjoyed the tour with Phil. You can tell he is enthusiastic about his job and his knowledge is extensive. He picked the best bits of Wellington & the coast. The lunch was fantastic. Appreciated the small group experience and hospitality of the guide and his company.

We loved this comprehensive tour of Wellington! Phil was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable and accommodating to traveler interests. He thoughtfully dropped us at the National Museum at the end of the tour (rather than the designated location). If you want a great day visiting the variety of main attractions in Wellington, highly recommend!

Phil was a fantastic tour guide with lots of local knowledge and passion for the local countryside and communities. The food and wines were delicious and the scenery stunning. We saw many seals on the coastal road. The climb up the steps to the lighthouse was a bit tough but well worth it. A fabulous day.
