Dillon took us on a great tour around Wellington. A perfect way to see the city and its beautiful views. It was very windy (who knew Wellington was the world’s windiest city?) and started to rain, but it was still a great day. We learned a lot about the City, its neighborhoods and landmarks along the way. Highly recommend.

We loved the tour of Wellington on e-bikes and highly recommend it, even for people who have never ridden an e-bike (and also for those who are 'pros'). Dylan, the tour guide, was excellent, pointing out interesting places and making sure we were all safe. So much fun to ride up the hills and then more fun zipping back down!

I had a very short stay in Wellington (arriving in early morning and leaving on early morning the next day) so I thought the most efficient way to explore would be by E-bike. It turned out to be an excellent decision. Ryan and Audrey took very good care of us, a group of nine, and gave us detailed instructions and introduction of the city history. It was a pleasant and easy ride on a nice day with a break for coffee and light food. We were able to get to the other side of the bay for an amazing view of Wellington which I couldn’t have done without the E-bike. I would recommend this to everyone who want to see the beauty of the city. Thank you.

Mum and I had a great day riding our electric bikes around Wellington. The group was small (7) which made it so much easier to stay together and not waste time. The bikes were easy to use and made cycling around Wellington fairly effortless. It was a great way to see the city.

We had a lovely bike tour around the harbour area. Before our ride, we had a proper orientation on what to expect and how to handle the bikes. Our guides were really nice and patient and explained to us a little about our surroundings and the sights that we passed by. Overall it was a great experience and i enjoyed the tour very much. A 2-4 hours tour on e-bike would cost NZ$65.00.

Sean was such a great guide!
He explained bike set up at the very start and let us bike around near the shop to get use to the bike.
Every change in journey was explained so we were safe and had an enjoyable experience.
I would recommend to anyone looking to see the city and learn some local knowledge.

We came off a cruise ship for this trip. It was a perfect way to see the sights and get some exercise. They provide nice quality bikes to use and helmets. Jack was our guide. Nice young man who did a great job. We were a little concerned ab out being out in traffic with cars but it was only for less then a mile on the entire trip.
Besides Jack, they also had another person at the back of the group too. Which was a nice touch. With the electric bikes you really get to see lots of different sites in a shorter amount of time. It’s a beautiful place in the wharf area and out in the country. Really enjoyed it. Great job!

Our guide was Jimmy - super knowledgeable about Aotearoa’s beautiful history and we had some good laughs along the way. Jimmy was careful to keep a close eye on us at all times to make sure we were close and safe throughout the whole tour. My husband and I couldn’t have found a cooler activity to do on our honeymoon, the views are breathtaking and there are so many of them - you have to try this experience!

Used Switched on Bike for a bike ride around Wellington while in port with a cruise ship. In short, the experience was fantastic! The bikes and related equipment were in good working order. The guides, Jimmy and Genevieve were awesome and very informative. The owner, Ryan, picked us up at port and also returned us there. All were very professional and welcoming. There were 14 riders on the tour, so that became unwieldy at times particularly since there were some inexperienced riders involved. However, didn’t stop us from enjoying the wonderful ride around The beautiful Wellington Harbor.

We visited Wellington on cruise ship and pre arranged the half day tour as our introduction to the city. A wonderful decision. Communication prior to arriving was prompt and helpful. The outlet was easy to find on arrival. Ryan was an excellent and informative guide and very cognizant of each individuals comfort and safety. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cruise excursion in this beautiful city

They are a small time outfit and were flexible for my friend and I. It believe it was a 3-4 hour adventure so they can’t start too late.

There is a small hill climb to a view point, but through park like areas, not at all like riding along a cliff. View Point is all hill sides, so gradual, both in views and in perception.

Hello, we are a family of 5 who will be traveling to Wellington at the end of December. Our youngest exceeds the height requirement, but will not quite be 12 years of age. We did a family electric bike tour through Rome in July 2017 and she did great. Is the age limit flexible? Thank you.
