Wow what a great experience! Such a great team and great adventure. Get ready to have heaps of fun and a exhilarating activity. The team was hilarious and engaging. Boppa was great fun and explained things in a plain, simple and easy to understand way. Drax was always cracking jokes while explaining how to keep us safe and maximizing fun. Hayley was great company and helped us all along the way. Frank took a lot of awesome photos. Jess was so warm and lovely. The whole team accommodated us so well and enhanced the experience with a lot of awesome insights and connection with the local tribe. Before we went out there were safety talks and along the way. Once we were in the raft we got to work practicing all the different holds to keep us in the raft and the paddling synchronization. There were some crazy rapids and a few waterfalls. It was a great experience leaving you wanting more! Overall I could not recommend this experience more. We would definitely go again.

The staff at Three Rivers makes the experience unique and memorable!
Not only are the staff very well trained, confident and capable, but they are also enthusiastic and genuinely enjoy what they do. Every single person on the team was just as friendly as the next. Highly recommend White Water Rafting Rotorua - Kaitiaki Adventures to friends and family!

Me and my partner had an absolutely great time and loved every minute of it. Felt super safe and confident with Boppa as our guide, was very thorough in his instruction and gave great encouragement to everyone. Was great fun and his enthusiasm and fun attitude rubbed of on us. He let me ride the bull at the front of the boat which was wicked fun. Worth every dollar spent on this experience and would come back again and do it in a heart beat. PS Boppa I hope the boss bears you a bear and burger at the pub!!

Unbelievable, I would never have thought that I would do this but it was an amazing adventure. All the guides were brilliant, but Jackie kept us all safe and hauled me out of the water like I was a gaffed fish! I didn’t fall, I went in voluntarily I might add. We learned such a lot about the history of the river and it’s importance to the local people. The scenery was exceptionally beautiful, and despite the hectic descent, there was time to appreciate the tranquility and the quality of the water.

Really impressed with the organisation of the trip, the equipment and the guides. There was a really clear safety briefing and best of all, the rafting is superb, especially the 7m drop!
But the best thing about this trip is the enormous respect for the Māori owners of the land - clearly sincerely held. I loved every minute. Thanks Cam, our guide, Jackie the driver, and the other crew on our boat, Hirato, Eko and Priyanka.

We had the time of our lives, my son and I had an amazing experience. Its times like this this that matters in life making memories. I waited 20 years for this and for my son to be old enough. I can see my son had a good time because every time he looks at the photos taken by the team there is a big smile on his face. Jackie our guide made it extra special for us with out it being obvious but I could pick it up, she got injured a bit on the 7m waterfall ( sorry Jackie for having to buy beers for the guys ha ha) and I would like to give a big shout out to her, she is very proficient in what she does and has a great personality to back that up. The rest of the team did an amazing job to support Jackie in keeping us save and intertained. See you next time.

Rafting with Cam was an absolute joy, and the beautiful line down the Tutea Falls was the absolute highlight. Also it was a treat to hear the story of the awa. Truly a great experience. Also Tui is a necessity to enjoy the full experience.

Kaitiaki team was amazing!!! Seriously I will highly recommend the fantastic team, Hemi Ben and Jess 'THE BEST'. They made it easy and fun for us, from the beginning of the tour till the end we spent our days laughing. The adrenaline rush was epic!! The feeling of going down one of the worlds epic largest waterfalls was incredible - Kaituna River at Tutea 7meters fall is known to be dangerous. Still, with the Kaitiaki team experience, it became fearless..laid-back, pleasant and easy-going. More importantly, there was never a dull moment with them. Suppose you want to have an epic adventure book with Kaitiaki. The pictures are astounding!! Thanks to the excellent photographer Jackson. It appears the team are highly trained and experienced. The boys helped us put on the correct size helmets and safe gears before the rafting. They also explained the safety instructions clearly in the beginning and on multiple occasions. You can tell that the boys had incredible techniques in the river that kept us safe, and we were not hurt or thrown out of the boat at any time. However, there were times when we were allowed to and had a bit of fun and swimming. So much fun and laughter!!! I will be back with my friends and whanau.Thank you so much, Kaitiaki team, once again, for a fantastic experience and a perfect holiday😀

This was an awesome experience. We took the 1115 run in February with Hemi. There were challenging rapids and three water falls that we went down. They were 3 feet, then a challenging 6 feet; the third an awesome 22 feet (or as they say over there, eight meters). Our guide could not hide the fact that he did not think he has an "A team crew", he prepared us for the big drop on several occasions. The drop was a once in a lifetime sensation. We were the fourth of seven to go down. Everyone was intact after the first raft, the second had everyone fall out and the third had a couple. When our turn came, we plunged down, compressed about four or five feet under the surface, while I was gripping the oar as hard as I could, and we plunged down straight and true and then popped up. We gave ourselves a round of applause. I even spent $40 on the pictures and they were cool with folks on the cruise divvying up the cost by sharing the email to the link.
The weather was cloudy and in the mid to low 60's. Being a boomer, I was concerned that my wife and I would have an uncomfortable cold experience as we did not have wet suits. NOT A PROBLEM. They provided a vest, a very warm fleece and water boots. We were more than comfortable; in fact, if the weather were several degrees colder it would have been just fine. Interestingly enough, our guide grabbed the oars of those in the back row just prior to the drop, and threw them over the falls. We picked them up in the stream below.

lovely time with the whanau. Wonderful staff all round great experience. Would 100% go over and over again if we had the time. I highly recommend giving it a go before you kick the bucket. Ben our guide was a fun charismatic individual who made us all feel safe.
