FANTASTIC TOUR WITH FRIENDLY KNOWLEDGEABLE GUIDES
The owners (husband and wife) picked us up in 2 clean, very nice vans at our hotel in Auckland and we sit out for the coast. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable and treated us to a wonderful easy hike and a couple of really nice beaches. They had snacks and lunch was delicious at a local spot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for very personal service.

Great time learning about Māori culture
Amazing experience! Learnt so much about the Māori culture and the country as a whole! Breviss was a great guide, and loved hearing his perspective given he is Māori himself. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Auckland!

    Breviss Rocks!
We booked TIME Unlimited for transportation to and from the Hobbiton Banquet Tour. They picked us up from our Auckland hotel and drove us to Hobbiton with time to spare before our tour so we could do plenty of souvenir shopping and even have a snack in the Hobbiton Cafe. Breviss was our driver--he was awesome! He had a great knowledge of the Maori culture and was really fun to chat with. He even looked up our Hobbit names before the trip so we would have those on hand for our Hobbiton journey! He was very helpful when we arrived to Hobbiton to make sure we were checked in and set for our tour. He picked us up after the tour in a nice warmed car (which was great because it was cold outside) and drove us back to our hotel. The car was clean and very comfortable. Snacks and water were provided as well as friendly chat and interesting stories. I would highly recommend this tour company for your transportation to and from Hobbiton!

    Perfect holidays, just a dream
The tour was perfect. We saw a lot of New Zealand in a short time. Daniel, our guide , was very good and knows almost everythnig about his country. Neill and Ceillhe answer very quikly , find the best tour and take care of everything. The snow disturb a bit our travel but our guide handle it very well. We travelled 4 days and we discovered something new every day. I wish i can come back one day and I will ask TIME Unlimited to organise our trip.

    Customer Service is Outstanding!
Our experience with TIME Unlimited Tours was exceptional! Ceillhe went above and beyond our expectations to help us with situations that weren’t even associated with their business or responsibility. The care and customer service provided by Ceillhe and Harry astounded us! They truly care about their customers and want their experience to be the best that it can be! I highly recommend them…you won’t find a more caring, professional company.

    Fantastic tour!!
We had the pleasure of taking a 3-day tour recently and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Breviss, was truly exceptional and made the entire trip a delight from the start. He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and welcoming, providing us with fascinating insights into the history and culture of the places we visited. What really stood out to us was the incredible attention to detail that Neill, Ceillhe, and Breviss displayed; they left no stone unturned, making sure that every aspect of the trip was carefully planned and executed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure that we had the best possible experience. We can’t wait for our return!!

    Waitomo Caves & Glow Worms
Our tour operator was Pacific Destinations. Small group of about 12 people initially. The only negative comment would be that we had to “meet” OUR tour driver at Hobbiton Movie Set Tours location as that’s where all the passengers (except us) were heading. So we took a 2.5hr van ride to somewhere we didn’t want to go only to have to travel another 1.5hrs to our destination instead of going directly which would have only been about 2.5 hrs. Not great when you have back issues… Aside from this, Waitomo Caves and the Glow Worms were amazing! Beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Wonderful acoustics - even though we were told to be very quiet, other tours were encouraged to sing their national anthems… The peaceful float/pull along the river in the caves revealed spectacular glow worms on the cave ceilings and made you feel you were looking at hundreds of twinkling lights in the night sky. Definitely something worth experiencing!

A great introduction to Māori culture
Ceilhe was a wonderful tour guide, as she not only knew Auckland and its environs well, but she talked a lot about her Maori heritage. We learned so much from her and especially liked our visit with her to the Auckland in Museum. It was a wonderful introduction to New Zealand!

Best Touring Experience - DO NOT MISS! The best tour decision you will make in NZ.
A truly unforgettable experience - the best way to see Auckland and the North Island! We actually used TIME on 3 tours - from Paihia to Auckland (with Daniel, our guide), Auckland 1/2 Day tour (with Ciellhe) and a 4 day tour to Hobbiton and Coromandel, again with Daniel. We've used personalized tours before in Europe and Japan but TIME's guides and expertise were beyond compare. Daniel was a wonderfully warm and knowledgeable guide with impeccable customer relations skills. He made many very useful suggestions about places of interest so we really felt our tour was unique. He was particularly valuable in making suggestions for stops on the Coromandel, especially since many roads were closed as a result of Cyclone Gabrielle damage. Daniel made our trip so easy and spectacular we really hated to part company when he dropped us off at Auckland Airport. Ciellhe gave us the best tour of Auckland we could've imagined. She treated us like family and showed us various beaches, lakes and overlooks that most tourists never see. She also had a very warm, friendly manner and even helped us find a store that sold special gifts, such as NZ rugby jerseys. If you are making the long trip to New Zealand, DEFINITELY INVEST your time and money with any tour offered by TIME. We will be sharing memories of our experiences with them for many years to come.

    Best tour company in NZ!
We had the best day trip from Auckland to Rotorua with our tour guide Harry! He gave us great knowledge on Māori culture and provided excellent recommendations for our day trip. The service was the absolute best! 5 stars and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour company.

    A day around Auckland
The tour was good, allthough we had bigger expectations. Good tourguides as well and so was the bus. All concidered the price was a little too much and €150 a person would be a better price for a tour like this and the €237,= a person we have paid was really way overpriced.

    Okay, but different than advertised
The tour was not what was advertised. While there were charming aspects and the guides were friendly, the stops and the information included didn't line up with what was indicated as the tour. For example, we did not go to several of the places listed, nor did we see the cultural things indicated in the photos. While we had a nice time, it was not worth the price paid, and we were left a bit disappointed.

    Wonderful and caring family company
Although the terrible storms which battered their community and added issues with barnacles on the bottom of our cruise ship prevented us from ever reaching New Zealand, this family run small company were compassionate and kind to us over our cancelling our booking. I was also in a bit of a state due to other issues and perhaps not the easiest of people to deal with at that point. But they understood completely. No formality of a large tour company, just excellent ans kind personal contact. I wish I could have done the trip just to meet them , and I hope I can make it another time. I am sure it would have been a superb day

Two of Our Favorite Days in New Zealand!
Our 2-day private tour from Auckland to Rotorua was one of the highlights of our trip! Neill was so informative, kind, helpful (and he's a huge Springsteen fan which is an extra bonus!). He was so easy to work with prior to our trip and was extremely helpful in finalizing all the logistics for us. He was a wealth of information and even took the time to take us on a small detour to see a Redwood Grove in Rotorua (amazing!). I can't recommend TIME Unlimited Tours enough! Thank you for making our trip so special and memorable!

Julia, our guide, a 5th-generation Kiwi, gave us a 4-hr windshield tour of various Auckland highlights with running commentary that not only showed us and told us about a few sites and views, but more importantly for us, set us up to appreciate various aspects of culture unique to NZ. Tiaki! We had flown into Auckland early a.m. on an overnight from Houston. We took a nap, but wanted an afternoon Auckland experience that wouldn't require much energy on our part. This was perfect! Knowledgeable, personable and interesting guide, comfy van, water/snacks (plus a demo of NZ tasty delights) and a subtle introduction to "the feel" of NZ. Do it!

It was such a pleasure to read your lovely review, noting we read this during New Zealand's complete lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic that has the world firmly in its grip at the moment. Hosting appreciative manuhiri (guests) such as yourselves makes it all worthwhile as we go through dark times in the hope that we, like many of our tourism colleagues, come out again at the other side. We have loved every minute of hosting our guests from around the world for the past 15 years and are fully planning to be there for the next 15 years and beyond since what we do is not a job but a calling, a passion that we live for. We started our business 15 years ago and have made so many friends in that time, have had so many laughs and met so many genuine and great people. We look forward to hosting many more manuhiri (guests) when the world gets back to "normal" again once this pandemic has subsided. In the meantime please know that we really appreciated you taking the time to write this review thanks! Neill and Ceillhe Sperath

Wonderful tour around Auckland with Linda. Great overview of the city, its surroundings and history. Linda is very knowledgeable and informative, yet engaging and entertaining, as well. Super way to see and feel Auckland.

We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review about your touring experience with Linda. Our private Auckland Half Day tours are a wonderful way to experience the highlights of Auckland city in comfort and style, especially when you have little time available in our beautiful city. On this tour, you’ll be amazed by spectacular views of ancient volcanoes, the beautiful Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf, Tamaki Drive with famous Mission Bay Beach, as well as a drive across the Auckland Harbour Bridge, all in half a day. We feel it’s a great way to learn lots about our gorgeous city Tamaki Makarau (Auckland) in a short time. Having said that, we also feel that it's even more worthwhile to upgrade to a full day Auckland Tour, where we can also incorporate what we consider the brightest jewel in Auckland's crown: the Waitakere Ranges subtropical rainforest on Auckland's West Coast. Thanks so much for your kind review. The last 2-3 years have been such a challenge with the pandemic and then floods and cyclone but thankfully we're still standing. It's meeting lovely guests like yourselves and showing you some of the many gems in Auckland and throughout New Zealand that makes it all worthwhile for us. Thanks and may our paths cross again one day soon! Neill Sperath

We were taken in a comfortable mini-bus to a few specific historic and vista locations. Our guide, Sofire, gave us a good feel for the history of Auckland, including the Maori views. Her presentations were wonderful and she was very clear in her descriptions of locations and historical events.

What we are most proud of is our team of wonderful guides that we have built up and nurtured over the years. These are kaiarahi (host-guides) that don't just show our manuhiri (guests) our beautiful city Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and country Aotearoa (New Zealand) but open up their hearts and minds in a two-way communication so that our guests can learn as much as possibly about us and our country during each tour. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your tour with us so much! Neill and Ceillhe Sperath
