      SeaLink sure …
The ferry was on time and well organised. It was an extremely busy Sunday. There are toilets and a cafe on board. There are provisions for bikes, prams and scooters just mention them on booking. It’s not cheap for a family for a half hour trip, but a good choice

      A great option
I took Pinnacles all inclusive Rottnest island tour.Ideal when tou have just a day and want to see it all;Besides being senior freindly. The pick up was spot on.The whole trip was at a leisurely pace and covered by very knowledgeable and guides proud of the history of the place. This gave me a better feel of the place as it was since the WW2 times. As promised had a good Tete -A-Tete with the Quokkas too. A sumptuous vegetarian lunch was provided for me-On the whole a great expereince. Spots for improvement would be: Have a signage at the ferry landing itself to direct clients to the train station(There were non english speaking people who struggled and were confused, though the information centre personnel put in all efforts to help them.) The public address system in the tour bus needs to be more efficient.

      Great for bike hire
We hired our bikes directly from SeaLink rather than on the island and were very happy with the quality. The locks, brakes, helmet and gears all worked fine and appeared to be of consistent quality as opposed to some we saw from the other companies. Only wish we could have hired a basket and flipper and snorkel set directly through SeaLink too - we ended up still lining up at Pedal & Flipper for these. Enjoyed the commentary on the Ferry ride, sitting up top was pleasant and we spotted a couple of river dolphins on the way back! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd still book SeaLink again but probably take my own snorkel set & basket next time if not available through them directly. Thanks for a great trip! :)

Worth doing, but only needed to do it once
Originally, our trip was booked on what turned out to be a very hot day forecast for Rottnest Island (RI), so we rescheduled for the only cool-ish day during our 10-day visit to WA. It cost us $14 to change the day, and took the guy on the other end of the phone a couple of seconds to make the change. We walked from our nearby accommodation to Elizabeth Quay, however, the blue CAT bus stops right at the departure point, or there is a train station and Busport bus interchange only about five-minute walk away. The ride across to RI was good, seats were comfortable, facilities were clean, and they even gave out free ice blocks part-way through the journey. We didn't purchase anything from the small kiosk. Luckily, I have notifications set to my email, as we received a message about an hour before the due departure time that our return ferry would only take us to Fremantle, and buses had been organised for the rest of the journey to Elizabeth Quay. We were to catch a later ferry, which meant our return was delayed an extra 1/2 an hour. (I wondered if there weren't enough people to make the return trip to Elizabeth Quay viable.) The bus ride was pleasant enough, and we got to see parts of Perth we otherwise wouldn't have.

Comprehensive tour of a historical and beautiful island
Comprehensive tour of beautiful Rottnest Island. Free time from the arrival of the ferry before the tour actually starts is sufficient time to visit the small museum and a few shops. The train and Olive Hill gun experience was interesting—there are stairs and walking on uneven surfaces. The bus tour goes from one end to the other, but felt rushed. Couldn’t hear or understand the guide some of the time. Would have liked more time at the few stops on the tour. You have to choose to either see the sight or go to the bathroom; not enough time for both. Time was constrained due to the ferry schedule.

      Amazing service, super flexible!
Two days before or trip, we were informed via SMS and email that our return trip was cancelled, so they offered us to take any other return trip. Very professional. We arrived early at the jetty for our trip and asked, if we can jump on the earlier boat which was no problem. The same for our trip back. Again very flexible and friendly.

      Rottnest Day Trip
Sealink provide an excellent ferry service to Rottnest. Very happy to recommend to others. Great staff & clean vessels. Rottnest is great for a day trip or holiday. Recommend the 1 1/2 hour Bayseeker bus tour of the island.

      Beaches, cycling and Lighthouses
This was an amazing day out . We hired cycles from Pedal and flipper and cycled to Wadjemup lighthouse where Peter was our knowledgable and informative guide. We ate in the cafe which was great and swam from white sand in clear blue sea. The ferry tour was informative and staff were helpful. A great day out.

      Slick, easy service to Rottnest.
Easy online booking. Equally easy boarding process. Smooth, fast crossing each way. Special mention for Mitchell who managed to book us on an earlier ferry back at short notice which was much appreciated. Nice touch serving complementary ice pops on the return journey on a scorching day. Would thoroughly recommend.

      Fabulous Day on Rottnest!!
The tour provided pickup and drop off from our hotel and took us to the departure dock for the ferry. After we landed on the island we went to the visitor information centre and got our bearings - a visit to the local store before heading up to the bus departure point - a train ride to the gun battlement with very informative guides and lunch at the site before getting on a airconditioned bus for a tour of the island and history., We got to take some photos of Quokkas - unique to the Islands off Western Australia. The Quokka is a small macropod about the size of a domestic cat. We finished off the day back at the bay have a glass of Prosecco at the bar before heading back.

Very efficient service, bikes were great fun to view the island, and a real plus to have our bags tranported to and from our hotel

2 days before our activity, we were told that bikes are not available for kids. We were advised to change dates but already have made prior arrangements for other travel dates. Upon arrival at the vendor counter, we were told that even snorkels were OOS. This really ruined the start of our day. Even though we continued with the ferry ride to Rottnest Island, we had to rent the equipments ourselves at other providers.

    Literally served by a Karen.

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your recent trip with us, and we are glad that you enjoyed your ferry trip with us at least. We are very sorry that all the bikes were sold out. Bike hire is enormously popular between Christmas and New Year, especially, and we always recommend booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. We will certainly also pass on your feedback regarding the service you received at the third-party bike hire company.
