      Not good customer satisfaction
I booked this tour having been to Rottnest before but not with this company.. I had no confirmation email unfortunately I didn’t think much about it until I arrived on the island and I didn’t not know where to meet and no information sent to me I did screen shoot it on booking but thinking it is a small island it will not be hard to find how silly was I.. , this company took my money and did not provide any further information, I thought things will be clearer on our arrival nope I was totally lost as to where to go Ect, I ended up with the lovely people at pedal & flipper very kindly helping me out to chase this guy up , calling him ect to try and arrange my meeting point but there was no answer on his phone. So i bought another 2 electric bikes to hire when they was full this was very very kind of them and so so helpful. They really did go beyond care and duty bless them that my day with my son ended up perfectly, I was just out of pocket for £110. So unfortunately no refund was issued when I tried to complain , so be very careful when booking that you get CLEAR instructions if you book here…….

Easier way to get around the island
It was great, really good way to see and hear about the island. It was still quite physical but I could not have done this on an unpowered bike! Highly recommend to do this tour, very good value

Wonderful way to see the island and learn about it's history.
This was a great way to see the Island. The tour guide was certainly very knowledgeable and the tour very informative. The bikes were great and made the journey a lot easier than push bikes! We didn't get to stop and swim in our group but I am sure if we asked our guide would have accommodated us. If you want to have a swim afterwards just catch a later ferry. Take some lunch as the group stops at a beautiful spot along the way.

Rottness Island tour with Paul as our guide on electric bikes.
We had an amazing tour of Rottnest Island with Paul as our guide on electric bikes. His knowledge of the island was incredible, and he shared so many fascinating insights that made the experience truly memorable. Paul was friendly, approachable, and incredibly patient—especially when my son’s bike chain needed fixing after a little overenthusiastic pedaling! He handled it with such professionalism and care. Thanks to Paul, our adventure was both fun and seamless. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Rottnest Island! Cate

      Awesome day out on Rottnest
Highly recommend this experience. My favourite past was zooming past those peddling uphill on old school bikes. Still got plenty of exercise and fresh air. The commentary and detail provided by Paul was passionate and knowledgeable.

      The Perth-fect Tour
Highly recommend this tour. Paul is super knowledgeable and passionate about history and the beauty of Rottnest. Ebikes are perfect for the hilly island. Just remember to bring a packed lunch as we forgot.

      Thanks Paul your the best🌈
Paul is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge on his local area. We were lucky enough to do 2 bike tours with Paul. Unfortunately the weather for the city ride was windy but Paul organised a different trail because of this. Rode out around Lake Joondaloop which was absolutely amazing🌈 Rottnest island e bike guided with Paul was outstanding seeing all the hidden spots off the tourist map. The water is magical. Thank you Paul for such an amazing day 🌈

      Great tour of Rottnest
Fantastic tour. Paul has exceptional knowledge of Rottnest. The e bikes are way better than standard bikes for getting around the island, they’re well maintained and easy to ride

      Best tour on Rottnest Island!
We went on Paul's Rottnest tour 19 April 2024 - The whole experience was fantastic. A small group who all got on well together. Paul has an extensive knowledge of the history and ecology of Rottnest which he shares throughout the tour. The e-bikes are in really good condition and are exceptionally easy to ride (I had never ridden an e-bike previously). It's definitely a good decision to take an e-bike tour over a standard bike - Easy ride past all the tired sweaty people on standard bikes on the inclines!. Very highly recommend Paul's tour.

The best way to see the island!
We had a wonderful time touring Rottnest Island with Paul on the e-bikes. Paul had a wealth of knowledge of the island and the tour exceeded our expectations. We felt the tour was great value for money and it was nice to be able to breeze past everyone else on their push bikes. I highly recommend this tour.

Ebikes were a great way to see the whole island
Ebike was a great way to explore Rottnest. Paul was a walking encyclopaedia of info about the island and it was fascinating. There is no way we would have managed the full perimeter of the island on regular bikes, particularly since the sun was relentless. The pace was great. There were plenty of stops and photo ops. Paul continually checked that we were doing OK. Thank you for a great day!

      Amazing Day on Rottnest!!
Where to begin??! Firstly, Stu and I would love to thank you Paul for being a fantastic person! We hit it off straight away! Your passion and love for Rottnest was contagious and we got an amazing history lesson we weren't expecting. Your knowledge of the Island and dedication to your job as tour guide made our trip unforgettable. We organized this tour at the last minute and were so thankful there was a vacancy available. The e bikes were easy to handle and made the riding sooo much easier!!! We stopped at plenty of picture worthy sites and never felt rushed or hurried. We really had the best day and met 3 amazing people that made that day even more special and memorable. Stu and I could not recommend Paul's Rottnest tour enough!

      Rottnest the best
We think Paul's Eco E-bike tour is the best way to see Rottnest Island. We could have biked around the island ourselves, but we learned so much more having a guide. And Paul was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable about the local geology, discovery, cultural history, vegetation, and wildlife of the island. He told us things we'd never have found out otherwise. And he showed us things we'd never have seen otherwise, like the osprey nests, various skinks, and even a baby snake (dead on the road). We came away with appreciation of a great day out.

After brief instructions on how to use the bikes we had a very enjoyable morning ride along the banks of the Swan River with Paul, who was happy to share his local knowledge with us. We saw some lovely areas which we wouldn’t otherwise have come across and would certainly consider doing something similar again. Our only minor ‘gripe’ was that the bike tour only lasted 1.5 hours and was quite expensive for that shorter period, but it was still very worthwhile.

What a perfect way to spend a sunny winters day! As a 'doing present'for my 13 year old grandaughter, we took the electric bike tour around Lake Joondalup and back to the coast, going as far south as Mettams Pool. A lunch stop at Hillarys Boat Harbour made our time together all the more memorable.
Ring along on our pushbikes, we were able to continue our connection with each other in a positive way. We had such a great day. To be remembered and treasured.

Paul is an excellent tour guide. He is a wealth of knowledge on not only the ecology of the island but also the history. He knows all the spots to get a great view and has all the info to match it. On our tour we seen lots of wildlife thanks to Paul’s knowledge on where to go. And to top it all off the e-bikes made it such a fun way to get around!! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Paul was absolutely fabulous! He was very prompt returning our calls and easy to organise our tour with him. We had a magical day cycling around Rottnest. Paul knew all the best places to see and was extremely knowledgable about the island's history, geology, flora and fauna...you name it! The electric bikes were great fun and suitable for all fitness levels. Don't go to Rottnest without Paul!

It's our last full day in Perth and we decide to soak in the beautiful Perth Coastline and yet not get too tired. Paul's e-bike offering caught our eye and we decided to give him a shot. We had a great time with Paul and his wife Maria that day (Happy Birthday Maria and may you have a wonderful life ahead!). The e-bike was an excellent and easy to ride tool and with Paul's experience in geology, origins of the Perth coastlines and some of the buildings/community history, it's an excellent way to see the beauty of Australia's West Coast. I won't hesitate to join them again for another outing in the future. Thanks again Paul and Maria!

Spent a hugely enjoyable morning with Paul doing a cycle ride around Jondaloop lakes and adjacent coastline learning about the flora and fauna along the way. Paul is a highly knowledgeable tour guide having worked in conservation for many years. Don’t worry that you’re not fit enough for the ride because Paul’s custom made electric bikes take virtually all the hard work out of peddling uphill and on the flat. You’ll never get out of breath. Would definitely take another tour when I return to WA.

Great way to see the coast with knowledgeable guide Paul. Bikes are easy to manage and enable the unfit to really enjoy the scenic coast up close. Good value and will be back to try his Rottnest Island tour.

This tour was my first experience with an electric bike and I was very hesitant as I hadn't been on a bike for over 20 years. When Paul gave us our training session I really didn't feel very confident. But by the end of the tour I was a total convert. These bikes are so easy to ride and the tour around the Joondalup lakes area was great. Paul has lots of environmental knowledge about the Australian bush and this is a good introductory tour to Australian bush for visitors and locals to Perth. We are now interested in doing his tour of Rottnest Island and seeing those smiling quokas.
