I purchased Bell Tower and Perth Mint combined ticket a week prior to arriving in Perth (so I could see Gold Pour which is held on specific days only) - best value and great experiences!
I arrived at the Bell Tower early so walked to the top level, played Waltzing Matilda up top before walking down to each level, reading the displays and seeing the bells I rang 20 minutes later with other visitors.
We were educated about the history of the bells, how to ring a bell and then we rang our own bell and made "music"! lol
Photos were taken, tour guide was fantastic.
Great for kids and adults alike!

Thanks for the 5 stars Kellie! Fantastic to hear you enjoyed you experience, and are now an official Bell Chimer! I'm sure your music was wonderful, as the the bell chiming can be heard all through Elizabeth Quay you may even have some fans now.

Went for the bell tower experience and was enthralled by the stories Howard told. He made the bells 🔔 mean more than just bells by sharing with us about how the bells came to be where they are and ending it off with the bell ringing. It really made the experience come to life… I honestly think it’s a must try in Perth!

Wow!! We just did the $18pp behind the scenes tour with tour guide Jeff. It was extremely interesting with loads of history connecting WA and England but not boring in any way. We spent the first half an hour before the tour started wandering around looking at the exhibits over 4 levels and the Perth views then did the half hour tour. We got to ring the bells!! This is the only place in the world where non bell ringers get to do this! Jeff was Avery engaging guide. Highly recommend this tour.

My first visit to Perth, at first I assumed this was just an observation deck. There are multi-level exhibits about the history of time, bells and their connections to various cultures. There is also an interactive tour where you can ring the bells. Great views on top of the observation deck.

Thanks for leaving us a review Andrew! With six levels and over 100 bells there's plenty to see and do here!

Our guided tour was excellent, our small group comprised of locals and both intrastate and interstate. Our excellent guide knew her history, the origins of the bells, both old and new, and we got to experience the ancient art of getting a bell to chime although mush practice was evidently required to get us in tune. On the 5th level we enjoyed views of the ANZAC Bell, cast in Australia, the largest swinging bell in the country, weighting 6.5t and installed in 2018. Various information panels and artefacts on the different levels are well worth viewing. Good assortment of gifts and mementoes in the GF shop. We started with a stroll on the 6th level observation deck, chilly but offering panoramic views. Love birds can purchase an inscribed lock and fasten it to the chain at the entrance.

Loved visiting and the staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. It was incredible to see the Anzac Bell ring for 1 minute, followed by 50mins of bell peals by the change ringers. Just wow! It was great to try ringing the bells as part of the Bell Tower Experience.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! It's certainly special to hear a quarter-peal from the official Bell Ringers.

The Perth Bell Tower is well worth a visit. The views of the swan river from the 6th floor were stunning. From the 5th floor the 6500 kg Anzac Centenary Bell can be seen and it rings each day at 12noon. All 17 of the other bells can be seen on the 4th floor and these ring around 12 noon on selected days by bell ringers who are on the first floor. If you take the Bell Tower Experience you also have an opportunity for a hands on try at bell ringing yourself, receiving a certificate of bell chiming afterwards. I found it surprising that, when the bells were peeled, there was absolutely no vibration in the Bell Tower at all. Our guide was informative on the history of the bells in the Bell Tower and open to any questions we had about Bells in general and about the Bell Tower itself.

A must do for everyone visiting Perth. The history of the bells in this modern Bell Tower is so interesting - the best part for us was trying our hand at being a "Bell Ringer" - lots of fun and definitely once off experience. A terrific inclusion for a holiday in Perth.

Thanks for the kind words and five star review! Did you know that the Bell Tower is the only place where you can chime bells without being an official bell-ringer? Thank you for your time in writing a review.

It was great hearing about the history of the bells, how and when they came to Perth and being able to see them up close. Getting to ring the bells was very cool and the highlight of the tour. Our tour guide Howard was very knowledgeable, knew his stuff and entertained us through the tour. A great way to spend some time in this fabulous city.

I have never been here before & after hearing of its delights from my grandchildren I decided to visit. I love history and the tour was very informative as I had no idea of the history behind the St Martin’s in the Fields bells nor of the Anzac Bell. Plus I got to ring a bell. Those bell ringers don’t need to go to the gym: it is tough work especially on the arms. Wonderful views to Barrack St and across the river. I will be bringing the overseas visitors when they ever come back!
