Great way to spend a morning
Greg was great. Friendly, helpful, polite. Trip was well narrated and Greg kept it on track. Good way to see Perth and get your bearings and not too busy.

        Excellent PR
Both drivers were super helpful on our 2 day pass although we really didn't use it much. Goes past all the top spots, cost $40 for seniors $45 normally for the 2 days and once again I would highly recommend it.

        So little time
Great to see/learn the maximum in just one day. A stop so near Ibis was convenient for us. The one-hourly service, however, is only sufficient for three one hour stops. A twenty minute service, like that in Berlin and others, would give much more flexibility. The tour around Kings Park is most welcome.

The commentary which they give is so fast. Not clear at all. Please reconsider how could you explain in short. I could not hear most things. & You have only one ride

Superb day and intro to Perth
We only had one day so we did the full 2 hour roundtrip on the bus and then went on the boat. The boat trip on the swan River was fab. We enjoyed a delicious burger in Fremantle, visited the maritime museum and then took the tram your. Very interesting and fun commentary from James. Also everyone super friendly, especially lady at Captain cook cruises on Elizabeth quay, so helpful and welcoming. Brilliant day out, worth every dollar! Amazing scenery along the Swan.

        Great for first visit
We didn’t really plan to use this but being out first time back in Perth for a long time we jumped on it spur of the moment. It’s a great way to get your bearings in the city and pick up some extra local knowledge. There is the opportunity to not just buy the explorer ticket but to double it up with other attractions to save some money.

        Great introduction to Perth
The weather was bad but we still wanted to take this tour. We couldn’t go upstairs so we stayed down below near the driver. I think his name was Greg. What a great driver and a credit to this business. He knew the town, he had a great sense of humour, telling us jokes and gave great advice. We enjoyed listening to him so much that when we got off, we made sure we timed our next pick up to a run he would be on.

Very nice way to see the town
Did this for one day, weather was so nice and the ride felt so good that did not get off the bus and went around the town for almost 4 hours. Driver was very nice and explained how it worked, they only have 2 buses, so it is not like some other cities that you have a bus arrive at each stop every couple minutes, you need to wait one hour for a bus to show up, so he gave a heads up to consider this while planning. Goes to most of the attractions in the town, one of the most significant ones being the kings park. On a good day with good weather, definitely something to do ;)

        Brilliant way to get around
We all loved sitting on the top deck viewing Perth. It was very easy to explore Perth We bought the Perth Mint ticket also and that was brilliant to visit. The driver was very helpful too with travelling around and where to get off etc

        A good starting point
The driver was friendly. An easy and hassle free way of getting around. The bus however wasn't air conditioned and it was a hot day. Very reasonably priced.

Good way to see the city
Thoroughly recommend this to orientate and get around the city. We used it to do a circuit to see where all the "must sees" are and then spent the rest of the day in the beautiful Kings Park with lovely walks. Drivers are friendly and helpful and there is an interesting commentary. Tips - take a hat and sun screen!

        Enjoyed getting Perth this way
We brought a ticket for two days. The drivers were very down to earth, helpful, ensured we had the right map and instructions. We enjoyed the commentary of some of Perth's history, seeing and getting around Perth in a relaxing manner.

        Fantastic dining
Galileo presented us with the best dining experience that we've had in a long time! The food, drink and especially the service, was superb! Not to mention the very reasonable price. We will definitely be heading back there....soon!

While holidaying in Perth CBD from Cairns between 25/11/20 - 06/12/20 & 12 years since my last visit I decided to enjoy Perth Explorer Hop On & Hop Off.
Unfortunately I'm informed this service was only operating on W/ends due to Covid-19 & less tourists.
However I boarded the bus at 09:40am from Murray St on Saturday morning 28/11/20.
Also a special offer a the moment with 50% off & paid AUD $25.00 for a 48 hr pass.
The bus was very quiet with very few boarding & the ride was very pleasurable.
I sat mostly on the top deck & enjoyed the views during the drive, if you prefer just to sit on the bus the entire trip takes approxamatly 2 hrs.
The Hop On & Hop Off is a great way to explore many interesting places during the ride & suitable for all ages.
Credit/Card facilities on board with ear piece & interesting commentary.
I boarded the bus again the follwing w/end on Saturday 05/12/20 & paid AUD $20.00 for just 24 hrs.
      Highly recommended.

Great way to explore the city of Perth. Good for the inner city. Easy payment on-site as you hail the bus. Would recommend starting earlier in the morning to fully utilise the benefits of the service. Highly recommended and very informative with it's audio presentation.

We saw the bus and decided to get. Was never told if you got off you would not be able to catch another for 2 hours. The driver told us the cost was $70, but charged $80 x2 adults. Feeling so ripped off and actually had to walk back.

I am sorry you were not happy with our service. You were charged correctly, the cheaper price is our Perth Explorer online special only and you wrote direct to us and said that where you had seen it advertised at that price. Having less buses out on the route during this very uncertain time is also advertised thoroughly on our web site.

As a local I decided to to take my granddaughter for a ride on a double decker bus and tour our own city. We learnt some new things about Perth that we didn’t know and really enjoyed our day. I’ve been on these tours in many cities around the world and I was proud of how good this one is. I have only one suggestion and that is that I think it would be great if the bus stopped and the WACA and Queens park stop and tickets to the WACA museum be available as they are for the stadium tours.

Thankyou for your review, I am glad you enjoyed our tour and even as a local we told you some things about Perth that you didn't know. We too would love a stop close to the WACA but unfortunately we have never been able to get one around there due to the lay out of the roads and the lack of anywhere to stop.

We had a great trip with Craig whisking us around this easy going laidback city. Craig also helped out with an eating recommendation that was spot on. We often take advantage of the hop on bus options when hitting the ground at a new city and find they generally give you a bit of info and lets you get a feel for the place and your bearings. The Perth explorer was no exception.

We had such a great time when we travelled on the red bus tour in Perth and it was a really informative experience, particularly as the commentary was exactly on when we passed the various places. Greg our driver was so friendly to everyone and offered extra information to anyone who asked him a question. This was the best bus tour we have had anywhere and is highly recommended by us to
      anyone who visits Perth.

Good starting place for a visitor to Perth as it gives an idea of relative distances and Perth is quite spread out. Highlight in my opinion is the visit to Kings park as it is unique to the city and gives great views of city and Swan river. King's park is quite close to city centre and is accessible via the CAT free bus service. For those interested, the casino and football stadium are a drop off point. My advice is to take the tour, pick the points you want to visit and use public transport or walk to them at your own pace.

We often use this type of bus to see the highlights of a new place before getting off to see the most interesting parts. With this trip it was good with a full trip round and the chance to see the main sights of the city with a guide explaining what to look for. A two-day pass allows you to see the whole on the first day and then visit the sights on the second.

The Hop on Hop Off bus is a great way to get around the city. It takes two hours for a complete trip around but you get to see most of the sites. Unfortunately, there was only one bus running so if you got off at one location you were there for two hours.

The weather was fantastic, which helped. The tour of the city was the normal type of thing, main sights, municipal buildings, war memorials etc. The route we took had a longish stop at the park for a look around then continued. I can't say there was anything startling, but all good.
