After the last four days of eating my catch from Thursday’s charter, the wife has said she wants to go out for dinner 😂 Truely the trip was the best day I’ve spent on the water. Whales breaching, sharks menacing and heaps of fish. From...More
I am totally useless at fishing.
My kids laughed at me heading off and said "Steak and Chips tonight daddy"?
How wrong they were.
We had only been out for 10 minutes and saw a humped back whale breaching.
We headed out maybe 30 minutes...More

We took our mother in law with us who is in her 70s. She gets along pretty good, but can't walk very far. Yes, your mum will have a place to sit. no problem there and it's pretty calm water (or they don't go, apparently). The hardest part is getting up on the boat and down, from the little transport boat. If she can walk she will be fine as the crew can help her get up and down. but she can't sit and fish, you have to stand next to the side rail. and the fish are pretty big, so if she hooks a big one, she'll probably have to hand it over to you! my wife hooked a nice cobia and after a minute or two, handed it over. She will have a nice time, i reckon.
