This was bloody phenomenal !!!!! Hubby and I had the absolute best night. Such an awesome way to drink in Melbourne Our tour started in Docklands near Marvel Stadium. We had a quick lesson briefing and off we went. Under the Bolte and up the Yarra. Stopped for dinner. Saw the most spectacular sunset Past Crown and the fire show Melbourne in all your glory of city lights and ended at the boatsheds We have a couple of tips : Outfit : regardless of the weather note that you will get wet from the water splashing from the paddles etc. I wore a lightweight spray jacket and it was PERFECT to keep me from getting wet. I also opted for shorts which I was happy with because then I didnt have wet leggings or pants like others did BUT we had a warmer night. So Potentially consider lightweight water proof type spray pants or shorts. We both opted to wear a cap for the sun which was also handy keeping our hair dry. Dinner : order the pizza or the fish and chips. Basically something easy to eat. Remember you dont get out of the boat. I ordered fish and salad it it isn't the easiest thing to eat in a kayak general : take a small hand towel or something. My hands were getting wet and cold and my iphone wouldn't open to take photos. And you are gunna want to take photos! I had to keep drying my hands on my tshirt under my jacket

On a superb warm evening, we enjoyed a wonderful experience of gliding through the water of Docklands and the Yarra on the Sunset Kayak experience. Our guides, Aiden and Ben, were calm, experienced and knowledgeable. A fabulous way to experience Melbourne as the sun set and the lights of the city came on. We had little kayaking experience but the pace was relaxed and we managed easily (although my technique may not have been the best!). Highly recommended!

We attended this as a couple. It was safe & enjoyable as the boat was well balanced & supported and the guide was very helpful & alert. A must try experience.

A fabulous cruise along the Yarro River! We loved that it provided city views on either side of the river and our guides, Daniel and Ben were the best!

We had a wonderful experience paddling the Yarra River at night. Of all the tours we have done on our Australia/New Zealand odyssey this was one of the best. We love to paddle and this was a truly unique way to experience Melbourne. Our guides (Jabo and ????) provided an appropriate level of instruction at the beginning and were attentive to the group throughout. We must have been an experienced group because we had to pause several times along the way to hit their time marks. Dinner in the kayaks was ok and served its purpose but the highlight was seeing the beautiful Melbourne skyline after dark and especially the pyrotechnics outside the casino as we passed by. Anyone we showed our photos to were amazed (and envious) of our experience. A special shout out to Jo Gasteen of Journey South for arranging this for us. It did not disappoint!

The best experience. We love a unique activity on holiday and this is by far the best thing we have ever booked. Daniel and Charlie were incredible tour guides. The food was incredible. All training and equipment provided. I’m not athletic at all but we didn’t struggle with this activity so don’t let your fitness levels prevent you from doing this. I will recommend this over and over again to anyone visiting melbourne or looking for a unique date night.

It was an awesome experience seeing Melbourne by night while being in water! My wife and I really enjoyed it and also The instructors and how it was organized was just perfect. The group, the conversations we had, the explanation of the different places we saw, .... Everything was perfect :)

Great value, Guides were professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun to be on. Kayaks were stable and good for beginners, from youngsters to older (well I am over 70!).

We did the Sunset kayak tour and with absolutely no kayaking experience and my wife and I both over 60 it was a breeze and absolutely awesome!! The views spectacular, dinner whilst sitting in your kayak hearing about the Yarra River and Melbournes history fantastic and the finish up past the Casino and Southbank area under the stars a big finale!! Thoroughly recommend it !!

Such a worthwhile experience. Loved seeing the sights and hearing some of the history of Melbourne. Fabulous guide who clear Enjoys his work.

It was a pretty nice experience and our guide Adam was very kind and easy going. Me and my friend did this together in the same kayak but it would have been better doing it in single ones. I totally recommend it.

Aiden & Mitch from Melbourne Kayak were so great. Our kayak experience around the docks and up the Yarra River was absolutely fabulous. The views of the city and overall atmosphere makes this is a must do tour when in Melbourne.

We did the Twilight dinner cruise, with friends. We had the best time. We highly recommend Kayak Melbourne and their kayaking experience. Our guides were amazing - fun, friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all experienced and safety orientated. We felt safe the whole time. December is such a great time to see Melbourne from it's water ways. If you are looking for a different tour experience - these guys are your go to.

Staff feedback was that this was the best Christmas Party ever! We paddled into town and back, Matt was great and give us some very interesting facts. Highly recommend it to anyone.
