      One for the books!
What a delight! The bakery on the way was delicious. The hike was about 7 miles. We saw wallabies, spectacular views and an echidna. Then it was off to the Koala Sanctuary. It's very touching that there is so much space for them and some had been rescued during the wildfires. After that we did another small walk where we could see rescued penguins nesting, grey geese and more wallabies. The penguin parade was pure joy. I would suggest going to the far gift shop before popping down because it gets crowded straight afterwards. Seeing the penguins emerging out of the ocean, wait til there are enough to waddle up the beach to goto their homes was delightful. Really a wonderful outing that is such a special day.

      Must do in Melbourne
I did two tours (Phillip Island and Wilson Prom) with Hike and Seek and they were both fantastic! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed incorporating hikes into the day instead of just stopping off at a viewpoint like most tour companies. We saw lots of wildlife too. I highly recommend booking with Hike and Seek!

      Wilsons Promontory Day Tour
Loved the tour! The day was packed with stunning nature views and hikes and we were even able to spot lots of wild animals along the way! The bus (eight-seater VW Bus) was super comfy and the small group had a great dynamic. Would recommend to bring hiking boots, sun protection, snacks and a 1L water bottle.

Loved everything about it,it felt like a close friend was showing me around and not a complete stranger. I wish we were staying longer so we could do P Island as well. 10/10 experience and will do it again when back. PAT C is a great guy and a great host, thank you so much for allowing us to see your version of this part of the world.

As a Victorian, I decided to be a tourist in my own state for the Summer break – but I wanted somebody else to take care of it all. I chose Hide and Seek because they offered small group day hikes to some of my favourite places in Victoria. I did the Wilson’s Prom and 12 Apostles/Great Otways/Great Ocean Road day trips. Both trips were totally different, but both had a variety of walks and wildlife sightings in many beautiful environments. Our guide/driver, Shane, was knowledgeable and easy-going, and checked-in with us throughout the trip. I recommend Hike and Seek whether you’re an international or domestic tourist, travelling solo or with a friend. It was great to let someone else do the planning and driving! An uplifting experience with a cool group of people.

Again a day to remember! This tour was my second day with Hike & See and by chance, with the same tour guide, Shane! He really knows his way with the tips and tricks of making good photos during this tour and is happy to share them with you. The day was filled with awesome spots and we had the chance to eat a delicious lunch in a restaurant on the road, called Perch. What I really liked, was that we went to the heart of the rainforest where you can spot an amazing waterfall at the end. The best moment of the day was spotting a wild koala mom with her little baby from very close by, thanks to the spotting eyes of our tour guide. Once in a lifetime moment :)

Our tour guide Lorinda was the best!!! She picked us up promptly at the arranged time/pick up point and we head south to the coast. On the way we passed thru Victoria’s farm lands and she educated us on the dairy industry and the surrounding towns. The towns were very nice and had all the necessary services. Made stops for personal needs and she had coffee, water and snacks for us.
After an hours drive we reached the the first of the Twelve Apostles. Took a hike down to the beach and saw it close up. After that we wandered further down the coast to see more of them. An amazing site that you must see! At midday we stopped for a delicious lunch at a roadside restaurant named The Perch. We then headed inland to Hopetoun Falls again, our guide gave us background on the falls and the area around it. Next up was the Californian Redwoods. Felt just like we were in US. Starting our way back to Melbourne we were fortunate to see some Kolas and Kangaroo’s. It was a long day but everyone enjoy their time along the coast and the care and hospitality. We highly recommend this tour!! If you can, ask for Lorinda.

The 12 Apostles, Otways, and Great Ocean Road day tour from Melbourne is a breathtaking journey through some of Australia's most iconic landscapes. From the bustling city streets of Melbourne, you'll embark on a scenic drive along the rugged coastline of the Great Ocean Road, one of the world's most scenic coastal drives.

The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the 12 Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks rising majestically from the Southern Ocean. These stunning rock formations are a testament to the power of nature and offer breathtaking photo opportunities at every turn.

In addition to the 12 Apostles, the tour also takes you through the lush rainforests of the Otway Ranges, where you can marvel at towering ferns, ancient trees, and cascading waterfalls. It's a peaceful retreat into nature's embrace, offering a welcome contrast to the dramatic coastal scenery.

Throughout the journey, our knowledgeable guides Mark and Dino provide fascinating insights into the history, geology, and ecology of the region, enhancing the overall experience. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, photography buff, or simply looking for a memorable day trip from Melbourne, the 12 Apostles, Otways, and Great Ocean Road tour offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and adventure.

Highly recommend this trip with Hike and Seek exploring the Great Ocean Road and 12 apostles. Our tour guide, Talaska, was friendly, informative and helped the whole trip run smoothly, with good conversation, music and even extra snacks and recommendations along the way, definitely going above and beyond.

The 12 apostles and the Great Ocean road are not to be missed, truly astonishing views of coast, most definitely a highlight of my trip so far. We enjoyed a short hike down to the Beauchamp falls and the towering Californian red woods. Definitely not to be missed in Melbourne!

What an incredible drive! Shane, our terrific guide and the driver drove the group of six on this incredible journey. We saw a wallaby, kangaroos, koalas, and colorful birds (including an umbrella cockatoo). We hiked to see a lovely waterfall and giant sequoias. Shane made sure we saw koalas in the wild and stopped the van several times so we could get out and see them. We drove to see the twelve apostles and walked on a beautiful beach. Lunch was spectacular and delicious, and the price was right. Shane even took us for coffee in the morning. Our guide did not disappoint us. We saw so many beautiful locations in the time we spent together. We spent another 20 days in Australia and New Zealand, and this was the ONLY day that so many animals and birds. Well worth it!

The drive along the Great Ocean road with spectacular views was really outstanding. I really loved the hike towards the beauchamp falls which was my favourite part of the day. And our tour guide Talaska was amazing and ensured to fill us in with wonderful facts and knowledge. She was fun, loving and caring and infact went an extra mile to ensure that all the members were comfortable and having a great time. Hence, this is one of the main reasons why I would recommend you to choose hike and seek for your next adventures in Melbourne.
Thank you hike and seek for making my first Melbourne experience a memorable one.

What a wonderful day from start to finish! Our tour guide, Talaska, was terrific—warm and full of interesting information, and it was lovely touring many scenic wonders with a small group. From the 12 Apostles, to the fine sand beaches, koala sightings, and incredible rainforest and ocean vistas, there was so much to take in. And to top it off, we had a lovely, delicious lunch at a charming cafe where exquisite King parrots gave a show outside the window.

This was a really nice tour and allowed us to get out of Melbourne and see more of Australia. Tour was well organized and allowed for appropriate time at all stops. Tour guide (Sarah) was great! She provided a lot of great information about local sites and had a positive energy. We had a mixed group (broad range of ages and travel experience) and Sarah made everyone feel comfortable and addressed individual needs. She made adjustments to the itinerary based on group input which was really nice. The 12 Apostles was gorgeous, but it's very buggy. You aren't there long so you don't need to douse yourself in bug spray, but the bugs are out! The short waterfall walk was nice and the local flora and fauna were interesting to see. Lunch was good and didn't feel overly touristy. We enjoyed snooping around the little towns and had the best ice cream at one of the stops (Dooley's). It's a full day and we loved it!
