- Tuolsvayprey0 contributionsOne of my favourite tours everI so enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Monique, presented the history of the stoppkng places in a very interesting way, and her food and drink choices were amazing. I loved the way she knew all about the families who ran the places we visited - it added a really personal touch. Highly recommended.Written September 11, 2024
- Stephen_Crouch0 contributionsAmazing, friendly, knowledgable guide and delicious dumplings, with a side of history. Not to be missed! The Melbourne Dumpling Walking Tour, for which we had Chev as our guide, was nothing short of extraordinary. From meeting fellow dumpling appreciators, to learning about the history of Chinatown, as well as the stories behind each location, to of course the delicious dumplings themselves, was the perfect way to spend a cold Melbourne Wednesday night. Chev was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour, offered amazing insights into each restaurant and the types of dumplings they served. She also offered suggestions based on the tastes of the group, and kept conversations flowing allowing everyone to get to know each other better. I'd highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed. Especially with Chev as your tour guide, you'll be in good hands, as well as enjoy an array of amazingly delicious dumplings (seriously, some of these dumplings are heavenly). One of the best parts is discovering restaurants (both small and large) that you wouldn't otherwise visit! Definitely adding to the list of to-visit-again locations. Thanks Chev, and thanks Walk Melbourne Tours!!Written August 20, 2024
- Catherine H0 contributionsWalking Food Tour not to miss!!We should have done this tour at the start of our holiday so we could try all the suggestions that Andrew showed us on the tour. We would never have found these little lanes, historic landmarks & the history behind them without his knowledge & experience of Melbourne. We had such a good time & were so full by the end of the walks!! Go the Lions!! Allan & Cathy HunterWritten August 16, 2024

- Resort455903660290 contributionsA must do tour, awesome. An excellent tour, our guide Monique took us to out of the way eateries that we would probably would have never found. The food at each place was amazing, the best banh mi I have ever tasted, so authentic. Plus her knowledge of how each establishment came about and the history of the Melbourne CBD was outstanding, she is a lady who is quite passionate about her tour. A must do whilst in Melbourne.Written August 3, 2024
- fergusonn210 contributionsThe Melbourne Foodie Discovery Walking Tour - a great way to spend an afternoon in MelbourneThe Melbourne foodie discovery walking tour, led by our very informative guide Andrew, was great. Andrew provided an interesting summary of the history of Melbourne from settlement, to independence from NSW to the Gold Rush and on to Melbourne becoming one of the wealthiest cities in the world. Plus the food! From macarons to coffee, delicious banh mi rolls then dumplings, very special hot chocolate, sorbet and some wine to finish. Well organised ending with a happy group of foodiesWritten August 1, 2024

- I3154WJlauras0 contributionsYou need to book this Foodie Walking Tour! This tour was fabulous!! Andrew was our guide, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Friendly, funny, full of interesting historical facts about Melbourne, as well as all of the delicious treats he shared with us; he embraced the group of us as friends. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We appreciated Andrew, the new friends we made who were part of the tour, and exploring delicious foods we’d not tried before alongside of fantastic versions of things we were familiar with. The hidden gems of restaurants we’d never have found on our own were delightful. This made me want to join a food tour on every future trip we take. Only hope future guides will be even half as great as Andrew was. Grateful for a wonderful experience!Written June 21, 2024

We went on the Melbourne Coffee Lovers Walking Tour with the lovely Monique! We had a fantastic time walking through the CBD while we learned about (and tasted) the history of Melbourne’s coffee scene. Monique was an amazing guide, she is so friendly and clearly finds so much joy sharing her own love of coffee and Melbourne! Would highly recommend to long time coffee lovers, as well as newbies to coffee (like myself!).

Loved every minute of it. Great to understand coffee: it's source, history, how to get the most out of a coffee bean, and the local business that are passionate about it. Great to do the taste comparisons. Monique was a wealth of knowledge and a lovely person to boot!

We loved this tour! Being black coffee enthusiasts we wanted to learn more about how coffee is made and more about the history of coffee in our city and boy did we get that education and more! Monique is a walking coffee encyclopaedia and answered all our questions whilst regaling us with great stories about 'ye olde' Melbourne and the evolution of the Melbourne coffee culture. We highly recommend this tour!

Monique is somebody who enjoys her work and it was showing! Despite multiple cancellations she still offered to give me the tour and I was keen on taking it since I was leaving town the next day! She didn't disappoint and we had a wonderful stroll through Melbourne, enjoying different type of coffee with plenty of history and information behind each cup and place! Loved it! Thanks again!

Monique led a great coffee tour of four amazing and unique coffee shops. My wife and I had amazing drinks of our choosing at each shop and learned a lot about coffee and Melbourne’s rich coffee heritage. Check out a few of the drinks we enjoyed!!!
