This was a great way to see lots of the city highlights and get some very insightful historical background. As it happened I was the only one signed up for the tour the day that I took it and that gave an opportunity to have some real dialogue with the guide. This is a really good tour and something that I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore a little further afield than a walking tour.

Freddy leads you around all the best sights and neighbourhoods of Melbourne. He is a fountain of knowledge. The tour is full of interesting history, fun facts and local tips/insights. The bikes are easy to use and the beautiful cycle route is not overly exerting. The tour stopped at a brilliant (and super affordable lunch spot) with fantastic views of the city.

We have done bike tours in major cities all over the world and this is right up there with the best!

We rented e-bikes from them for a few days and the staff were very helpful in sorting us out and providing us with tour suggestions.
We then went on the "The Best of Melbourne Bike Tour" with Freddy and just had a great time. Melbourne is fun to cycle in and Freddy was fun and very knowledgeable.
We also loved the lunch spot which had an amazing view and amazing ravioli.
Going on the tour before going by ourselves also gave us a better feel for Melbourne's city traffic.

Going on a city cycle tour is something we always try to do when travelling overseas but this was our first experience of a city cycle tour in our own country. This was in fact one of the best city cycle tours we have done. Our guide Matt had an easy going manner with a good balance of humour and interesting information about the city. The cycling infrastructure and bike usage in Melbourne is far ahead of Sydney so with Matt in the lead a safe and interesting tour of the city is assured. You may be tempted to try a "Free Walking Tour" however the very large groups in these tours were about the only traffic problem we encountered during our 4.5 hour tour. The cycle tour might not be a "Free Tour" but definitely a good value tour. Recommended.

Matt was energetic and entertaining on our tour. We learned a lot about Melbourne. We stopped for a good lunch at some hipster restaurant (cost is not included in the tour). There was quite a bit of tight maneuvering around pedestrians but otherwise was a good ride. Tip: ride close to the people in front of you, the people who left huge gaps got caught at lights, etc.

I can not recommend this bike tour highly enough. Freddy was very knowledgeable about Melbourne and it's history - he made this tour very enjoyable. I don't normally like guided tours, but am thrilled that I didn't let that stop me from taking this tour. The bike route itself was very pleasant and an easy ride. Freddy was very safety conscious - so if you have never ridden in a city before, this is the way to try it out. The pace was great - allowing us to chat with the other members of the tour, which added even more to my enjoyment.

Fantastic tour I highly recommend for visitors as well as locals looking for a cool few hours of activity. Freddy was awesome with his knowledge of Melbourne and taking us to beautiful gardens and sites, he was super safe leading us through Melbourne. Lunch stop was a cool rooftop bar Naked for Satan. Lovely old building conversion to a popular spot with great views and atmosphere. We had perfect weather which made for a really great day and lots of laughs. Thanks Freddy 😁

Matt was our tour leader and he certainly knew his facts. I learned a lot about the history of Australia, Melbourne and the people that live there. He was also very entertaining, full of fun stories with many question and answer stops at historical sites. The bikes were very comfortable and the 5 climbs on the trip easy thanks to excellent gears on the bikes. Very special lunch place in Fitzroy. A must tour if you want to see Melbourne and soak in it’s history! Highly recommended.

Despite a forecast of bad weather and actual rain we had a great time on this bike tour. Informative, Fun and well planned this is among the best of city bike tours I have enjoyed. They pick a great spot for lunch and it all goes off without a hitch. Highly recommend for a great experience.
