- zitaxu0 contributionsWorst experience and fraudulent tour company!!!! Shame on TripAdvisor and Viator!!!We arrived at the designated pick-up point at 2:10pm and waited till 3:20pm but no one showed up. It was even raining!! We tried to call the tour company and no one picked up. It is so terrible as we came to Melbourne to see penguin and spent lots of money and time for it! Now it is all ruined!!!Written November 30, 2024

Provided clear direction at each stop and unlike other tours this one was perfectly paced. We didn’t feel rushed at all. He took us to the penguin view area and helped us spot penguins. He also provided tips on what to see in Melbourne. Awesome day and wonderful tour. This was our favorite tour in Australia. 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you Michael!Written November 24, 2024

- Happiness144940142260 contributionsWonderful DayStarted with a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary, a small reserve. Try to book the Koala encounter - it’s worth the extra $. Loved seeing the beach and the Nobbies (spectacular views) but the highlight of this trip is the penguin parade. It’s magical! Our guide Josh was full of information, courteous, and genuinely a lovely person. He made the trip memorable!Written November 15, 2024

- jenniferwit9180 contributionsPerfect Tour with Penguin PlusMy husband & I did the Phillip Island Penguin Parade Ultimate Eco Tour with Damo. Damo’s cheerful personality and commentary made our tour top of the line. The Brighton Beach Bath Boxes were a perfect first photo op. Then, we enjoyed watching a presentation at the Moonlit Sanctuary. The stop was long enough to walk around and enjoy a snack after. The views on Phillip Island were stunning and we saw a variety of wildlife, including echidnas, wallabies, and geese. We enjoyed some free time for dinner in town and feasted on pizza and gelato. The main event, the penguin parade, was unforgettable. We were lucky to see some penguins before it was dark and were able to snap pictures of them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UPGRADING TO PENGUIN PLUS (the stands, not the underground viewing). The section we were in was much less crowded and offered a variety of views of the penguins. We were also able to ask more questions to the guides. We spent about 20 minutes watching the penguins emerge from the ocean in the stands and 30 minutes watching them waddle to their burrows on the boardwalk. Overall, this tour was well paced and will be a highlight from my time in Melbourne!Written October 16, 2024

A must if visiting Melbourne. Our tour guide Kevin is very friendly, professional and accommodating. Kevin’s demeanour didn’t dampen our energy even though there were parts of the tour where it rained. I highly recommend this small group tour because you won’t feel that you’re being rushed to finish the itinerary. 10/10 for the Bunyip Tour Team!

The tour is wonderful. We were amazed by Mel’s (the tour guide) being knowledgeable and informative talks about the areas. She excited all the guests, making the tour less tiring even though it’s a long day trip. I highly recommend Mel if you can request her for your tour.
Thank you Mel for us having a memorable trip.
Mind you, BYO ponchos if the weather is forecast to rain or shower.

22/8/2022 tour experience was absolutely fantastic, there is nothing negative to comment about this trip. Tour company prompt and efficient, they have called to advise first thing in the morning that bus will be a few minutes delayed due to traffic. That is excellent service. Tour guide Chris Hill is outstanding with his professional, friendly, efficient and caring service he has provided. He has gone beyond and above with his service and he should be awarded. He was training Max and Max is an excellent young professional, he has proven himself to be confident and will be a credit to company. Even though, it was a very long day tour, Chris and Max made themselves available at all times to make journey comfortable to passengers. Chris putting customers first all the time, very polite, friendly and willing to accommodate to everyone to keep everyone happy. I have not experienced such a great service until yesterday and i have been on many tours before with other companies, other places. Overall, it was a perfect day experience.

Camille was an exceptional tour guide on our Great Ocean Road day trip! Her passion for the region was evident from the start, making each stop more than just sightseeing. Whether we were exploring Torquay, the lush rainforests, or the Twelve Apostles, her excitement was contagious.
The day began perfectly with Camille’s delicious homemade muffins, adding a personal touch. She guided us to the best spots, including a breathtaking sunset view, all while sharing fascinating stories. Camille's warmth and enthusiasm made the trip truly memorable. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend having Camille as your guide!

I did this tour on the 16th of March and it was absolutely amazing! It started off with an incredibly warm welcome at my hotel from Chris who is one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He immediately made me feel right at home and got everyone excited for the day ahead. As we headed out of Melbourne he told us the history of the area and all about the aboriginal nations who once ruled the land. We stopped at some beautiful places throughout the day and Chris even prepared morning tea for us! You cover a lot of ground on this tour but it never felt like we were on the bus for long as Chris kept us thoroughly entertained with jokes, stories, and general good craic. This trip hits all of the must-see places on the Great Ocean Road including the famous 12 Apostles and my personal highlight, Cape Otway Lighthouse. The way the tour is run takes all of the hassle and guesswork out of your day, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the view. If you are thinking about doing this tour then go right ahead - I promise you won't regret it!

Chris N. did a wonderful job of narrating all the amazing sights that we saw on the Great Ocean Road tour. It was awesome to get out of the city and truly see the beauty of Australia. I am glad we went in a small group and we truly enjoyed our day. I highly recommend this tour. Oh, and Chris played awesome music on our journey. I think ABBA would be a nice group to add to your playlist :-)

It was a great way to celebrate Christmas Eve; went on the tour guided by Paul, who shared good stories and let us plenty of time to enjoy the amazing scenery. He also put together quite the playlist to fit the history and particularities of the places we visited. We don't know about the other guides, but Paul definitely had the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism which put us at ease and made for a wonderful, highly enjoyable day.

I am not much for tourist attractions but I was recommended to go on The Great Ocean Road while in Australia. The reason why I went on this particular tour was that it fit everything in a day returning to Melbourne in the evening since I couldn't afford to spend 2-3 on it. My tour guide Chris N was extremely knowledgeable doing this for a long time and was friendly to take pictures for his guests.

This trip was fantastic - great value for money! The sights were absolutely breathtaking.
Jon C was the best guide I've ever had for a tour - I would happily do this exact tour again with him (or any other tour). He was courteous, knowledgeable, personable, fun, and flexible to the group's needs.
I did the optional extra helicopter ride, which took my trip over the top and gave me even more special moments from this adventure. If you love flying or want a unique experience that you'll remember forever, highly recommend this extra as well.

We were apprehensive about 13 hours in a van, but there were frequent breaks. Tea, coffee and cakes were provided at the first stop. Felix did a great job of explaining the sights, recommending lunch spots and best trails. The twelve apostles were magnificent, but Felix said the Loch & Gorge would be better. He was true to his word. Try to make time for this trip if you’re in the Melbourne area

Hi trying to book this tour for June the 18th, for two people, however it’s only letting me select the 7th of May? Is this tour only something you can book a day in advance?
