This was an excellent small group tour with the best guide I can imagine - Dean Huff. Not many people from the States get to visit Tasmania, but no matter where you might be traveling from, I highly recommend Fun Tassie Tours. I saw so many beautiful places and learned so much about Tasmania on this tour. Dean's ability to relate his knowledge of Tasmania's history and resources while driving us to the most amazing places, was masterful. We never felt rushed but always felt relaxed as Dean led us through each day's itinerary. His ability to communicate, coordinate, and accommodate, really made this tour so memorable.

A great tour of Tasmania, thanks especially to Dean’s extensive knowledge of the island’s dramatic history, its unique flora and fauna, its old and new economic influences, and so many other dimensions. These things were brought to life by Dean’s clear interest in and well-justified passion for Tasmania. And it helped too to have a small and very harmonious tour group, with a well thought out itinerary that included regular rest stops at places of interest and comfortable overnight accommodation. Highly recommended!

Was an amazing tour!! Dean was a brilliant guide - his knowledge of the history of Tasmania was unbelievable and he provided commentary the whole way through the tour so you were never left just staring out the window. He clearly has a love for the state and it shines through.
The tour itself was so well organised with everything running to schedule. The included meals were great as was the wine and chocolate tasting!
Being a smaller group of 12 made for a really fun time and more intimate feeling for the tour as we could all get to know each other and get to know Dean as well.
Cannot recommend this tour highly enough as you will truly come away feeling like you have actually seen Tasmania and if you are lucky enough to get Dean as your guide you will also come away with a greater appreciation for the history of Tassie, and he is just a really nice guy!!!

The whole 7 days was very well organised and excellent coverage of Tasmania in 7 Days. A remarkable tour conductor Dean, and a safe driver. Dean was very knowledgeable on the sites.

This was our first visit to Tasmania and Fan Tassie Tours did not disappoint. It was good to be travelling with only a small group and the modern mini-coach was very comfortable and clean. The accommodation and meals were all good and varied. In particular our guide and driver Dean made this an exceptional trip. He was extremely knowledgable and made the information very interesting and easy to follow. A confident and unflappable driver who maintained the schedule without us ever feeling rushed and nothing was too much trouble. Each day offered a new highlight and we would unreservedly recommend Dean and Fan Tassie Tours.

This was a lovely nature tour. I enjoyed both the tour and my fellow travellers, who became friends. The pace was leisurely, but we saw an amazing amount of Tasmania. The highlight for me was the visit to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
One word of advice bring warm clothes as it was chilly and wet on Cradle Mountain.

Thanks for the nice words above, we are very happy to hear you enjoyed your holiday. Yes we always advise guests bring a good jacket on tour any time of year as the weather can be changeable especially up on the highlands. Although the new indoor viewing shelter at Cradle Mountain is now open and is fantastic!
