I would highly recommend anyone visiting Hobart does the Hobart History, People & Places walking tour. Lisa was fabulous in her 2 hour commentary of Hobart’s history and I discovered so much that wouldn’t have been possible exploring on my own.

Hobart's Dark Past Walking Tour was intriguing. Our guide and owner Lisa was very informative and had an obvious passion for Hobart and it's past. The tour gave me a insight to Hobart that is the hidden and untold. This tour open the door for me to learn more.

Lots of fascinating historical details you would have no idea about when you’re otherwise walking around Hobart! I felt closer to the city as a result, highly recommend!

Lisa did a great job telling and showing us the history of Hobart. On the two hour walk, she explained many things that you would never have known without being on the tour. Lisa was friendly and knowledgeable providing lots of interesting anecdotes. She was well organised bringing along historic photos to show us on the way. Lisa was always willing to answer questions. A great tour to introduce you to the city of Hobart and its past.Highly recommended.

Our group consisted of only three people. We were able to cover all the key historical spots of Hobart's old town without walking a long way. I appreciated that the pace was not too much for my tired old bones. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We really learnt a lot about Hobart's early days. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great for history lovers, however more standing than walking. There was some interesting facts from the history of the state. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate.

Look no further. Lisa is a superb guide; very knowledgeable with perfect communication skills. Our group of 5 were shown the historic sites and given an insight into how Hobart grew into the city of today. The walking pace was great, allowing for us to also take photos. 2 hours flew by. I definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour, lots of history. Lisa has great knowledge about Hobart and its history. Very pleasant to talk and walk with.

We met our guide outside the Henry Jones Art Hotel, a former jam factory, by the waterside in Hobart. Over the next two hours as we slowly meandered from the harbour into the old part of town and parks we learnt so much of Hobart's past from convicts and prisoners to city benefactors. A thoroughly pleasant way to spend an afternoon with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Lisa was an excellent guide who did not miss a beat. Very accomplished guide with a deep knowledge of Hobart. Questions were welcome and all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our time today. Graveyard with old gravestones display was a highlight. Definitely recommended
