My partner and I had planned to visit Adelaide in November for a few nights. I had been looking for a wine tour company that would be able to accommodate us and the wineries that we wanted to visit and came across Best Wine Tours. I had decided to book 2 days with John. One day to visit the Barossa and the other day to visit McLaren Vale.
It was the best 2 days of our trip, not only did we get great weather, we had our own private and very knowledgeable tour guide (John) with his brand new car! John was able to recommend some of his preferred wineries while also making sure we were able to visit our chosen wineries. He also ensured to ask us about lunch preferences and made sure to let us know how long we should allocate at each venue based off our requested time booked.
I can highly recommend John and his services, I can ensure that if I come back to Adelaide to visit, I will definitely be in touch to organise another tour and visit the many wineries we did not have time to visit in our short time there!
Thank you John! We look forward to coming and visiting again soon!

Recommended by a friend and spoke highly about it, we finally found time to Barossa Valley. John was an amazing host on time and communication from the start was on spot. We wish we had more time he was very knowledgeable through experience a lot of history we learned. The car was luxurious so comfortable and the drive was a breeze. Highly recommended if only we can stay in SA longer we would love to visit more winery. We will for sure come back and will definitely ask John to host us again. Highly recommended.Thank you John.

Thank you Lee and Grace for a lovely review.
Our day in the Barossa Valley was mainly spent around your amazing lunch at Hentley Farm. This region offers so much more and we are eager to show you the 'best of the best'.
We trust within your future worldly travels we have the opportunity to showcase this and other fantastic South Australian wineries.
Until we meet again - safe travels
Kindest regards
John

We highly recommend this service. John, our driver, was on time and very friendly. His vehicle is a BMW and is immaculately clean. He even opens the door for the ladies!
His knowledge of Adelaide is great and he is happy to point out landmarks and provide history along the way.
His suggestions of cellar doors is provided by a background in the wine industry and is very good. We asked to make a detour on the way back and this wasn't a problem.
John is very professional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. We would definitely re book next time we are in Adelaide.

Is there additional cost for more than the 5 hour minimum?

Yes you can decide on the day if you wish to extend the tour time period. The cost is the same as the hourly rate of your tour. Example: if your standard tour cost is say $70 per hour, then to extend another hour the charge will be $70 for the additional hour.
