Cleland Wildlife Park Tour from Adelaide Including Mount Lofty Summit
From $65.23
Get up close with native animals of Australia on this day trip from Adelaide to Cleland Wildlife Park in the Adelaide Hills. Feed kangaroos, wallabies, and potoroos (a marsupial about the size of a rabbit) under the supervision of staff. Plus, have the chance to touch and take photos of one the park’s koalas.
What to Expect
Depart from Adelaide in an air-conditioned minivan and head to Mount Lofty on this small-group tour. Located about nine miles (15 kilometers) east of the city and approximately 2,330 feet (710 meters) in the air, this summit is the highest point in the Adelaide Hills. From there, take in the panoramic views toward Gulf St. Vincent.

Then, travel to Cleland Wildlife Park, which is home to more than 130 species of Australian animals. At the 86-acre natural bush setting, touch and take photos of one the park’s koalas while under staff supervision. (There is an additional fee to hold a koala and receive a professional photograph.)

Plus, explore the park and follow the trails, walking alongside the free-roaming animals in their natural environment. Spot kangaroos, emus, dingoes, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, and more, as well as pelicans, cormorants, and other water birds in the wetlands. Plus, get the chance to feed kangaroos, wallabies, and potoroos, while learning about the animals from the keepers.

Great park.. So much fun to watch and feed the kangaroos. Food at the cafe is really good too and the ticket is not expensive at all at 25$.

Definitely. The paths are well-paved and the in-roads are tarred. Might have a fair bit of difficulty going up-close and personal with the animals though as they venture pretty much into the grassy fields.
