First of all there is nothing irreverent on this tour. The Tour Guides were polite, fiiendly and knowledable of local history of the Cemetery and also the Paranotal. There are no jump scares of sillyness and i sense nothing malevolent in the Cenetery itself. The energy of the Cemeter was welcoming and loving. You could even smell the scent of roses in the air. Also for anyone starting out on investingating the paranormal this is well worth it. Lee-Anne

Such a great night! Definitely an interesting eventful evening full of a variety, spooky stories and pictures. We felt very safe with our tour guide she made us feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend this if it’s your first time or just for curiosities case. Tip - take a good camera and a small torch just in case. A + thanks heaps Southport lantern ghost tours. 😁

My sister in law went on the Lantern Ghost tour of the Southport cemetery,it was the most amazing experience that we have been on we pick up a few strange objects in some photos that can't be explained... thank you Lantern Ghost Tours.....

Went on this tour after doing Pentridge prison and WOW! The host Shane was awesome! Very helpful and informative. The historical events were interesting but the paranormal activity was very very high! If you are looking for some proof of the paranormal, I’d recommend this tour!

Lots of interesting stories, absolutely recommended. Our guides Shane and Kimba were great. Whilst we didn’t experience anything paranormal during the tour, on returning to our parked rental car and unlocking the doors via remote, all the windows lowered and car lights flashed. This feature had not been enabled on our car, did not occur prior nor have been able to replay since. Further, we noticed a distinct antiseptic/hospital type smell inside the car as we drove away and my daughter experienced a sharp pain in her wrist. Not sure how to explain this. Shane had earlier mentioned instances of cemetery visitors vehicles being affected by an apparent mischievous spirit - could we have perhaps experienced same? Suggest you go and check it out yourself.

Great night, good sized group. We started with dinner at a pub, then gathered everyone for the walking tour. I forgot our guide's name, but I think it might have been Phoebe. Lots of opportunities for participation, great story telling and history. If you're into the paranormal or just like to hear ghost stories, check this one out.

Wow.. What a great night. If you looking for that something a little bit different and that gives you goosebumps all over and the occasional uneasy feeling then this is for you. The tour is also filled with history and fascinating stories. The hosts Shane and Kimba are very friendly and welcoming. They provide diving rods and EMF readers which is an experience in itself. I thoroughly enjoyed the night.. Oh and don't forget to take your camera!

A good night run by a friendly fun professional team. Staff were engaging with all of us on tour and gave us time to answer a load of questions. The tour was not rushed and even went slightly over. More theatrical but remains a great night visiting some places that provided presence. Staff knew their facts historically and paranormally. Pricing good.

Lantern Paranormal Ghost Tours offers several paranormal tours at various locations. Attended a tour at the old Southport General Cemetery. The host was very knowledgable and I learnt a lot about the history of the cemetery. Was interesting walking around the site and learning about it. Took many photos with many unexplained images caught plus captured an EVP. Excellent night highly recommended. Am going again the 13th May 2016.

Shane, who conducted the tour was a very friendly and spoke clearly. We visited several places of interest around Surfers Paradise. The pace set for the walk was easily managed. The only problem with the tour was that it was too short. Also it rained during the tour but as it was warm being wet didn't seem to matter. Good idea to take a camera,

My siblings and I, 17+ years (4 of us) wanted to do something festive for Halloween this year. We'd come from a viewing of Paranormal Activity and were not so sure what to expect. The Guides Kimba and Shane were friendly, approachable, entertaining and had a wealth of knowledge of the cemetery and in general of paranormal activity. I enjoyed that the team had Ghost Hunting Equipment Gear such as an EVP Recorder, EMF Reader and Divining/Dowsing rods & allowed participants of the tour to hold & use these. I will never forget being near a child's grave that appeared to be visited recently with a lot of flowers, that had appeared to be freshly laid and the EVP Recorder and Divining Rods went crazy!! it was just past the Greek Orthodox Section. My favourites of the night were walking and feeling a poke behind my neck and listening to the story of Robert and touching the tree he is seen near. Very Eerie. At times, I l felt sudden drops of temperature, and randomly had a fast heart beat. This also was around the story of the farmer. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The length was appropriate 2hours and the tour guides were very professional and inclusive of all participants to get involved. My sister had taken some photo's and Shane was able to provide scientific & ghostly explanations. I would recommend you take a camera and plenty of photos (even if it's just your smartphone). Also shoes that are easy to walk in and an open mind.
