We did this SUP tour on our first morning on the Gold Coast. We attended with 2 teens. None of us had ever done SUP before but we all got the hang of it quickly. We had 2 friendly guides who showed us the ropes and we were soon paddling down the waterways. It was the perfect way to start the day as we did a 9am tour. The water was lovely and falling off the board was a welcome reprieve from the sun! All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it as a great activity. We can’t wait to try it again.

2 adults and an 11yr old. 11 yr old had never done SUP in deep water before. She was quite nervous and not enjoying it. The Instructor saw her getting frustrated and paddled out to her to help. She gave her the confidence (and me) to get us going properly. We ended up having a great time. Lovely helpful lady who made it fun, thank you so much! (Even though my sunglasses are now at the bottom of the river it was worth it!) :-)

Highly recommended! Our guide Lynda was very patient and knowledgeable. She, and Izzy, we’re great with our family in teaching and making sure we all had a memorable day. Boards were chosen for our abilities. The waterway views were scenic and we stopped to see bird life which was really interesting. All in all a great experience and really worth doing!

My non-adventurous mum and I went kayaking and it was a blast! The team at Go Vertical were really friendly and understanding. The equipment was in great condition and easy to use. The location is really central and the beach is nice to push off of. Couldn't have been happier 😊

Great tour of Surfers Paradise waterways. Loved seeing the peahens, peacocks and their baby peacock. Our instructor Dave gave useful tips to those of us that had paddled before and gave instructions to those that hadn’t and had everyone up on their boards and enjoying the trip. Allowed me to use my own board which was great.

If you’re ever in Surfers paradise make sure you do this! First time trying SUP and what a great experience! Linda is so friendly and helpful, really made me feel at ease. The instructor was very friendly and patient with me, always keeping an eye out to ensure I was safe. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, Linda and her team are the best! Thanks again for a great experience and one of the highlights of my holiday 😊

Had the most awesome tour and lessons with Dave he was so patient as neither myself or my partner had ever done it before we are both in our 50s highly recommend for all ages so much fun and great value for money thanks team will so be doing it again.

We had a great time out with Linda on the Paradise SUP tour. We weren't complete beginners, but still had a lot to learn. Linda helped us overcome our trepidations about wind, wakes and weather. We finetuned our existing skills and learned some new tricks! Linda is a great tour guide as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and can't wait to explore the area again. Would highly recommend this whether you are a beginner or more advanced.

My partner and I received the 2 hour tour as a gift, and it was an amazing time! We both had no prior experience at SUP, but our wonderful and ever encouraging instructor Linda helped us get up and paddling in no time. As the tour went on we felt more comfortable and confident, even getting in to a surfy stance by the end! Had a lovely stroll through the park at Macintosh and Linda helped us to spot a lot of beautiful native bird life. If you’ve ever thought about giving paddle boarding a go, head on down to see Linda for a wonderful lesson and tour!

I booked 2 hours paddle tour through Tripadvisor and yet it says in this booking that it's 11 am 1 hour beginner group lesson.So there seems to be a little confusion. I am glad that the situation was solved and Linda from Go Vertical was very kind and helpful with us.We had a fantastic morning!It was our first time SUPing and the entire experience was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend Go Vertical SUP!

This was our first time on stand up paddle and we loved it. Our tour guide Sim was amazing. She gave us lots of tips which helped a lot. The views were breathtaking and it ended up been a lot easier than we thought. Sim took lot’s of lovely photos so we will always have those memories. Thank you so much. We will definitely go back again!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Great morning learning SUP, I am terrified of the water but really wanted to learn and our instructor Linda was amazing! So patient, calm and made me laugh so hard I forgot I was actually on a SUP and paddling around the waterways of Doug Jennings Park, The Spit on the Gold Coast. We saw beautiful fish, spotted rays and birds. A very calm water area to learn and yes I did fall in but felt confident to get back on the board. The water was shallow but not too shallow so I didn't hurt myself at all. Instead had fun, laughed, learnt something new and enjoyed the lesson. I would definitely do this again.

Good fun on private sup tour this morning. Instructor Amar was very knowledgeable and made it easy for me to learn as this was my first time on sup.
