Linda and her team are delightful. We were first-time SUP riders, and Linda had us standing up on the boards in about 10 minutes. She took the time to get to know each person and tailored her advice.
We'd also booked a kayak tour at a time that didn't work, but she made the kayaks available same day and we had the most wonderful day on the water.
So much of a tour is the guide, and we couldn't have asked for a kinder, funnier, more thoughful person to lead us.

Amazing experience with instructor Chloe. Was able to stand up within a few minutes and was able to "master" within half an hour. Great fun with an encouraging instructor, who gave me amazing tips on how to paddleboard with ease. Fell in once while learning how to turn the board, and another time at the end of my lesson from light waves, but all still great fun.
Note: due to timing and bookings, technically had a private lesson (as there was no one else booked for the afternoon in which I came [14/4/2021 @ 2 pm]). Also since no bookings after my lesson, was able to paddle around the bank area for an extra 30 minutes (advised by my instructor as there were no other lessons booked after me)
Also a quick addition; I was a walk-on and was lucky enough to get this amazing lesson, but probably should book :).

Wow Evan you really did get lucky in creating a private lesson for yourself... sometimes walk ins do create fabulous opportunities! So happy you had a great experience on the water and with our awesome instructor, Chloe. Chloe will be so happy to hear of this review! Our teenage daughters and their Aunty had a fabulous first paddle board lesson with Ava. She was an exellent teacher, very patient and encouraging and had then all standing and paddling around in no time. It was a great morning for them all.

We arrived without booking and it was closed. 15 minutes after calling their phone we were up on the SUP. Even with the rain it was peaceful and interesting. Ava was supportive and instructed us in no time. Great experience. Thank you to the team

Hey you are welcome! It's great you got to paddle with us, I do recall your phone call asking if we were open on a rainy day and we were only too happy to open to get you on the water.. Points to you both for getting out on the water on a rainy day. We love to paddle in the rain as its very calming and fun. We were a family of four who have never done SUP before. I was quite nervous as I'm almost a non-swimmer (I requested and received a life jacket)
Linda patiently taught us the basics of SUP and gave us a lot of handy tips. By the end of the lesson we were able to do a stand up start.
We're definitely going to do this again. Thank you Linda for a very enjoyable morning!

Had a great private lesson with Kaz, who showed us basic and then more advanced techniques. Would highly recommend her as she was friendly and knowledgeable.
However the next day I received a phone call from an upset Linda, who outright accused me of not paying for my lesson. Including the line “Do you not think you should have mentioned at some point that you hadn’t paid?”
I had paid....in cash. Before I got in the water. Make sure you have your facts right before you accuse someone of theft and invest in a receipt book. Great way to drive away what would have been repeat customers though 🤷🏻♀️

Firstly I want to say that I am super happy that you had a great lesson with our fab instructor, Kaz and that you recommend her to others as she is a great asset to our small business. Next I would like to apologise for the confusion on your payment, I was not present at this time as I had another engagement and had to rely on a dear friend to take care of payments that day. I certainly did not accuse you of anything, Diane could not remember the transaction and of course it was not written in the book, I simply asked if you had made payment and Diane was sitting with me when I made that call and she was mortified that she got confused on your payment. We apologise for the confusion and hope you can forgive us for a small human error. Again I am so glad you had a great lesson as that is what counts....

This has to be one of the most amazing and best value “things to do” on the Gold Coast

I didn't know what to expect as I've never done anything like this, but this turned out way better than I expected. By the end I was making ways and really feeling the freedom of the board. The instructors were really good and everything was explained well specially the tips. Would do it again 100%

Even in a big group (there were a baker’s dozen of us this morning) and at low tide, you can conquer this fun activity! This morning’s group had a wide age range of men and women from all around the world, including first-timers, sophomores and more experienced paddlers.
Within 15 minutes we were scattered along the river, paddling and laughing and marvelling at the marine life under our boards. I noted agile fish darting in the shallows, a beautiful round ray the size of a dinner plate, and Linda mentioned dolphins early in the lesson.
I didn’t see anyone fall in today! I did pick up 5 handy tips for better paddling. My balance over distance is improving.
Lessons are reasonable in price, or take the Active & Healthy offer. But don’t wait! School holidays are nearly here!! :):)
