Day 2: Cape Tribulation to Cooktown

Pass By: Daintree, Daintree, Daintree Region, Queensland
Be picked up from your overnight Daintree accommodation for your journey north along the 4WD only Bloomfield Track through the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest. Enjoy informative commentary from your driver-guide along the scenic journey before stopping for lunch at the famous Lion's Den Hotel.

Stop At: Grassy Hill, Hope Street, Cooktown, Cook Shire, Queensland 4895 Australia
Continue north to historic Cooktown where the first stop is Grassy Hill Lookout, offering panoramic views of Cooktown, the Endeavour River and the Coral Sea. After stopping here, your driver-guide will take you on a guided walk of the Cooktown foreshore before going to your accommodation for the night.

Day 3: Cooktown to Cairns

Explore Cooktown today with your driver-guide. Visit the Heritage listed Cooktown Cemetery and James Cook Museum to learn about this fascinating goldrush town.

Stop At: Cooktown Botanical Gardens, Finch Bay Rd, Cooktown, Cook Shire, Queensland 4895 Australia
Explore the Cooktown Botanic Gardens on a driver-guided walk before a visit to Nature's Powerhouse for lunch.

Pass By: Black Mountain National Park, Queensland Australia
After lunch, depart Cooktown via the Mulligan Highway for the journey back to Cairns through the Outback. Stops are made en-route at Black Mountain, Byerstown Lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse.
