    A Trip of a lifetime
OMG - I can’t speak highly enough of this tour!!!! Broome to Darwin. 9 nights, 10 days!!! Our guide Adam was exceptional. Patient, knowledgeable, funny, always smiling and an overall fun guy!!!! I can only describe the scenery as AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, WOW & more WOW!!!!. This tour is not luxurious however the LUXURY comes from the expertise of the guide, the great small group. the beautiful food (which you will cook), awesome sunsets and sunrises, sleeping under the stars, the walks and the amazing swims. Be prepared for early morning wake up calls (which you will be thankful for). If I could do this trip again (even with a sore knee and scrapes and bruises) I’d do it in a heart beat. if you are thinking of doing a Kimberley tour - JUST DO IT!!!! And do it with this company. My heart is full ❤️❤️❤️

    Amazing
Have just returned from a trip of a life time with Kimberley off road tours and our exceptional tour guide Adam utschink. We had a wonderful 9 days touring from Darwin to Broome. The things we saw are amazing, our bus was really comfy and food was delicious, we also made so many wonderful friends. Value money was brilliant. We felt so lucky to have Adam has our guide he is a wealth of knowledge and when we were travelling by road he would point all the wildlife and also tell stories about the history of places, it was so interesting. He has such a easy going personality with a great sense of humour and it is easy to see how much he loves his job. He is such an asset. We cannot wait to book our next trip and highly recommend to use this amazing company you will not be disappointed. It truly was a trip of a life time

A wonderful way to experience the Kimberleys.
Martin, our guide's experience & passion for the Kimberleys enabled our group aged late 20's -early 70s to gel well...socially,cooking,setting up camp and walking together. His daily briefings on the next days activities were detailed & he ensured these were suited to our individual capabilities. Great food- hot breakfast options, fresh salad veges for lunch, dinners included camp oven delights. The regular early starts were compensated by cooler walking temperatures and having the popular trail or spring to ourselves. The management team were quick to respond to questions. Very inspiring, evidenced by lots of pics taken and many paintings to make. Thanks for a great experience.

An Australian Adventure like no other
The adventure began with an early morning pickup, as luck would have it for the first time ever, Martin had managed to collect everyone on time .... or was this just on of his now infamous jokes. A collection of 17 travelers looking for adventure, maybe we were all a little daunted at who our companions might be, but within hours we were a community with a mission. The true tale of this tour is how we bonded, worked together and enjoyed the company of strangers now friends. This didn't happen by magic, Martin's skill in laying the foundation, encouraging everyone to exceed their own expectations and showing us places we could only have dreamed about each and every day. Martin is a special person, his jokes are special but he is a human being one will never forget. TripAdvisor is about encouraging others to follow in footsteps, this adventure is like no other I have ever experienced. I wanted to see the real Australian landscape, natural, untouched, exposed, dangerous, colourful, harsh and beautiful. We saw this and much much more. This is not a luxury tour, it is a raw hands on experience. You will set up your own swag/tent, you will cook for the group, you will pack up the trailer and you will not wash properly for days. You will use a bush toilet, not have ANY phone reception, sleep in places you'd probably never know exist, alone but for your group. Your itinerary won't be fixed, nature has a way of throwing up challenges, bush fires, floods and other things will make your adventure unique. You will be changed by this adventure if you allow yourself to be, you will understand Australia as a nation far better and maybe even reassess your own priorities. You will hopefully see what community can be, helping others, sharing achievements, understanding that together is so much more than alone. Every day you will wake with the sun, pack up camp and see a new swimming hole, walking track, rock art, escarpment or sunrise before the luxury campers have even had breakfast. You will drift off to sleep under the cover of an immense array of stars not long after the sun has set. Your watch will lose meaning as will your phone. There is walking, some tracks are more challenging than others with rocks and climbing, but there is always the chance to do as much as you can and then wait. Being able to walk 5k each day is a good guide. Would I do this again - absolutely

    Enjoy the Challenge
I highly recommend this tour. Martin is an experienced, engaged and very capable guide. He can solve any problem with a can do attitude and brings high energy to the tour with a great sense of humour. He can also drive through any depth of water like a pro and pass on interesting information. You will feel in safe hands travelling in remote Australia with Kimberley Off road Adventures especially if Martin is your guide. The tour is challenging with early mornings, rewarding hikes, adventures, driving on unsealed roads followed by setting up bush camps in remote locations, cooking, cleaning etc. It is an incredible trip through remote Australia and very rewarding. I highly recommend.

    Darwin to Broome tour
The Kimberleys are highly recommended. With the many gorges, Lake Argyle, beautiful scenery during the bus rides, ... it is one of my favourite places in Australia. The nights in swags under the stars were an absolute highlight. Thanks to this tour, I started to love camping and nature even more. As the only young solo traveller, it was quite difficult to find my way around in this family tour. But, the guide made sure everyone was comfortable. In addition, he always explained enthusiastically, handled more difficult situations professionally, ... Special thanks to Hunter for making this tour unforgettable!

    epic adventure
I really enjoyed this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The scenery is wonderful. We visited many amazing sites including several that were not marked. Our tour leaderJimmy, was most informative and had a huge amount of energy (he did a lot of cooking, all the driving, managing us so that we were ready for each activitiy, etc). We did experience a couple of flats and other vehicle issues (as you should expect on the punishing Gibb River Road). Jimmy handled these with aplomb. Unexpectedly, this added to the adventure.

    Trip of a lifetime!
Trip of a lifetime! This was my first experience camping and I couldn’t have had a better time. Lucy was excellent to communicate with when the unseasonable rain delayed our start by a day. Our guide Martin was excellent and made sure we managed to see and do as much as possible without rushing through anything. The food was great and cooking and setting up camp was a fun way to get to know the group. Thanks to Martin for sharing his knowledge, getting me through the more challenging walks and of course for all the laughs! I highly recommend Kimberley Off Road Adventure Tours and am already looking to book the Darwin to Cairns tour for next year.

    Unforgettable!
Truely one of the best experiences of my life! We just completed the Kimberley Tour from Broome to Darwin, and it was even better than I could have imagined. The trip was delayed by one day due to the unseasonable amount of rain, which closed Fitzroy Crossing, but our guide, Martin ensured we still visited all the spectacular sights of the Kimberley. We travelled along dirt roads, often stopping for different walks or to swim in crystal clear pools, or to point out animals along the way. Martin enthusiasm and great sense of humour made the trip all the more enjoyable. I had a great time getting to know the members of our group, not only when visiting the beautiful places, but also when working together to set up camp, cook and clean up. I cannot recommend Kimberley Off Road Adventure Tours highly enough!

A unique and memorable adventure into the wild
A unique Australian and Northern Territory experience, especially for a French participant. Not only getting close to the Nature and enjoying numerous hikes, waterfall and hot spring "swimming" but also having a better understanding of the human background of this region, thanks to our guide Adam who shared with us his true love for it. Magnificent diversified sceneries, amazing rock paintings, numerous wildlife. Great camping (did you say swag?!), great food, would it be for picnic lunches or dinners around the fire. A joyful participation of everyone to the cooking and logistics. In short: an extraordinary adventure, to do absolutely. Merci Kimberley off-road adventure Tours!! Francoise

Dry season......not quite.....but still an incredible trip!!
What an amazing experience for all in our family of 5! From the the first day it was clear that our guide, Martin, had our comfort and enjoyment front of mind. We loved the landscapes, the camping, the waterholes and waterfalls, the food and the comradery. We encountered unseasonal rain forcing itinerary changes that, though different to planned, were still so special. The night on an isolated island in Lake Argyle was a highlight and closely followed by sunrise at The Bungles, sunset over The Pentacost and every one of Martin's secluded bush camps.

We highly recommend Kimberley off-road Adventure Tours!! We have just arrived in Cairns having done the Darwin to Cairns section of Savannah Way with Adam. We did the Darwin to Broome 2 yrs ago which was also absolutely fantastic! Adam's knowledge of the geology of the area, aboriginal rock art, history - both indigenous and the early pioneers etc is amazing, he has a great sense of humour and manages to organise great meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner on way. Everyone pitches in to help which is part of the fun of it! Outback northern Australia is fascinating, so worth visiting. If you want some adventure in the beautiful Australian outback, book a trip with Adam and Kimberley Off-Rd Adventure tours for a memorable and exciting trip!

Great trip, so good to be able to do such a wonderful trip in good hands, safely and with a great bunch of new friends.
The days were filled with seeing the country from Cairns to Darwin, water holes, bush walks, rock art, fossils, wildlife and some stunning scenery.
Meal times everyone chipped in preparing, cooking and clean up before we headed off for the next adventure or night walk. Meals yum and always plenty.
Would definitely do another trip with Kimberley Off-Road Adventure Tours.
Adam and Lucy run a great family business I wish them and family well they are gold.

I would never be able to do these trips on my own so doing trips with Adam gives you the taste of roughing it and visiting out of the way places in safety with like minded people. Mind you they are not easy and the 11 day trip had some very long driving days on the Queensland section. On our trip only 1 out of 17 passengers was not a repeat traveller with Adam which speaks volumes about his travel style, enthusiasm, skills and knowledge. So unless you have a four wheel drive go with Adam.

Loved my camping experience, the wide open spaces and blue skies. Although we had some issues with the truck huge efforts were made to make sure we continued on our tour with only one destination missed. Interesting bunch of people, loved the quiet way Adam guided us to take care of ourselves and shared his extensive knowledge of fauna and flora. I made a special friend and highly recommend this company.. and I plan on doing another trip next year.

What a fantastic experience. Loved it all. Really hard to nominate one highlight as there were so many; southern lost city .. awesome; swimming in the waterholes at Lorella Springs ... awesome. Mustn't forget Undarra volcanic lava tubes. And that magic billabong at Yurmikmik. Can't finish the review without saying how good our guide was ... he really made everything come together. He had so much knowledge on anything you asked about, had a great sense of humour and could also cook! Would happily travel with you guys again.
Thanks for a trip to remember.

This was the most fantastic trip I have ever been on. I have never camped before but it didn't take long to know how to put up my tent and roll out the swag. Adam was just fabulous. We ate wonderful food prepared by Adam every night. We all pitched in with the preparation for breakfast and lunch. We gathered the wood for our campfire each day and we hiked through some of the most beautiful places and swam in the gorgeous waterholes along the way. We stopped at some very remote campsites as well as fantastic spots with bars and pools. Seeing the stars at night at Hells gate was unbelievable. I could not fault the tour or Adam. If you want to see the real Australia then join Adam on one of his fantastic tours. You will not be disappointed.

This was a great trip. I haven't really camped before so I wasn't sure how I would cope. I needn't have worried. Adam showed us as a group and then helped me as an individual without any fuss.

There was a good choice of food and plenty of it. We all helped with the cooking and washing up. Many hands make light work!

Travelling along dirt roads and stopping off at lots of different places historic as well as beautiful and remote made for an interesting and exciting adventure. We stopped to swim in beautiful clear pools and hot springs. Adam's knowledge of the flora and fauna was amazing. He seemed tireless and was always on the lookout for rare and interesting wildlife for us to photograph.

We camped at remote campsites. Saw amazing sunsets and wonderful starry skies.

The whole trip was well organised and researched to provide a great experience of the Australian outback and National Parks. i'm very grateful to all involved.
