- Steve L00Up close and personal with some crocsWow. I have never been so close to saltwater crocodiles. I felt very safe and the guide was very funny and educational. He knew the area very well and shared a lot with us.
- royvQ962IA00HartleyThe view was amazing and astonishing I would highly recommend especially the 3pm croc show just overall amazing
- MarilynB195600Hartley's Crocodile Amazing ExperienceThe bus company were very good.. They picked us up at our accommodation and dropped us back there in afternoon. Gave a good commentary of local interests as we went out along the road to Hartley's. Arranged our tickets and tours for the Hartley's experience.
- Paul B00Great experienceEnjoyed all experiences, especially the crock attack show and boat trip around the lagoon. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Cairns
- Cory U00Best way to see lots of Cairns wildlife quicklyA great half day experience to get up and close with Hartleys crocodiles, take a quick cruise on the lake and see plenty of other wildlife. Make sure you get to the kitchen early as it closes well before the park does.
- JRWFamily196900Crocodile AdventureThe park was excellent,I’d highly recommend a visit. The staff were very informative and very funny. The demonstrations were awesome. Only downside of the trip was the que for food at the cafeteria, was very very slow .
- C1252BWamandac00Great day out! The staff are really fun and very knowledgeable making the shows fun and entertaining!Great fun day out! Plenty of crocs to see and the boat cruise was awesome. Staff were friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. Cafe was reasonably priced and the food was good.
- RaquelenGalicia00AwfulFirst, I wanna say that I put one start because it doesn’t allow to put 0 stars. Second, The place should be call Zoo. All the animals are in cages. There are plenty crocodiles everywhere. But in really small areas for them. Some of them they leave alone in one area. They could even move. I saw snakes in small cages. Spiders in a shoe box side cage. It was ridiculous. It’s awful they can treat animals on that way. I will only recommend this place for people who’s expecting to go to a Zoo. It’s not a wildlife place. It’s not only a farm crocodile.
- B97CQroberts00Hartley’s is a wildlife must DoHartley’s from pickup to dropoff was a great experience. You will not be disappointed if crocs are what you want to see. Crocs, reptiles, koalas etc are everywhere and the Croc show was amazing.
- mdritchie00A terrific local company to use for your transport logistics.I recently organised a large group loooong weekend for a milestone birthday in Palm Cove and found Jay & Miki of Beaches Meet & Greet to be very personable, accommodating with a great priced service. From airport transfers, a charter to Cape Tribulation, local drives and seamless admission to local attractions was all done with no issues.
- Catherine R00The fabulous Hartley CrocodilesOften you visit these places snd you see the occasional crocodile but there were crocodiles everywhere and the information sessions were great well worth a visit when you come to Cairns
- 283jeannetteh00Jeannette HopgoodGreat day boat cruise crocodile feeding wildlife snake show great staff passionate about the animals
- N2698AMjonathanr00Surreal, fun, great day outDriver Roy picked me up and told me all about the park and the things to see out of the window on the drive. Great guy, really happy and friendly. The boat ride is brilliant & the man driving the boat was funny as hell cracking jokes and getting the crocodiles to jump out of the water right next to us. Everything about the day was perfect and for the price, an absolute bargain. Couldn’t recommend it more, make sure you go! Thanks to everyone at Hartleys.
- aliciawhye00The best transfer service & a great day at Hartleys!Roy was such a lovely man! He greeted us (early) at Peppers Palm Cove and waited for us whilst we got our family of 5 organised to head to Hartleys! He gave us great insight into the day and was knowledgeable about all things Cairns & adventures. We tried to tip Roy at the end and he told us “no need, I’m happy if you’re happy” - seriously.. could he get any nicer? The bus was super clean, comfy and safe! Highly recommend this service. So easy, and great service! Hartleys was fab too.
- Gemma H00Best day out!British girl travelling around Australia, I had a day out at Hartley's and loved every bit of it, so cool seeing the wildlife up close and personal, e.g holding a baby koala, exciting boat river cruise with tons of crocodiles, seeing the crocodile shows, and learning so much about them, feeding a crocodile 2 chicken heads for a small fee of 15dollars, what a bargain! Also lots of kangeroos and wallabies to feed too! Recommend this day out!

We chose this experience as we had an international guest with us and thought it would be a bit of fun for her.
Firstly, the breakfast is pretty small. While there is a good variety, you get a small serving of each option (small egg, 1 tomato, 1 hashbrown etc) and there is no seconds. If I had known, I would have got my kids to have breakfast beforehand as by the time got up early and drive an hour they were all hungry again!
Secondly, they bring a koala out for the 2nd half of the breakfast and each table gets a pat and you can take a photo if you want. It is quite rushed due to the amount of tables the have to get through.
The park was definitely worth a visit, I am just writing a review as I wished I knew this before I booked because we would have skipped the breakfast part had I known about this.

I must say that Breakfast with the Koala at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure is well worth the cost if you have children that are interested in animals. My son had a koala theme birthday party in the United States and this adventure was our culminating activity. Rarely can you find a koala in the United States because of the eucalyptus they require is native to southeastern and eastern Australia. Thus, this breakfast with Yoshi (the koala) was a real treat. We met the wonderful keeper Rickie prior to having our breakfast and she explained about the program. She then allowed us to interact with Yoshi. It was such a wonderful experience for us to see the koala up close and have an opportunity to touch the fur. Next, we had breakfast which we really enjoyed. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage toast, croissants, fruit, juices, coffee, and a variety jams were available. The food was plentiful and we enjoyed our meal. Please note the breakfast is not fancy but it definitely worked for us.
The keeper then provided us with information about Yoshi and we had the opportunity to take photos with him. Please note that you will not be able to hold this koala but for an extra fee you can hold a koala and take a photo at another location in the park. I truly enjoyed this experience with my son. We plan to read a few books about koalas to compliment our visit. Thanks to the keeper Rickie for signing my son’s birthday book and thanks for providing such a wonderful adventure.
Please note that if you decide to visit without a car book your transportation via the tour company because we could not get any Internet connection thus using Uber would be a challenge.

Shuttle was punctual. Driver was nice and very informative. Breakfast was tasty - a very large breakfast! Buster the Koala was beautiful and so sweet. He loved getting back pets, and it was so amazing to feel a Koala's soft, fuzzy coat! You get the chance to get right up next to them. The rest of Hartley's was also interesting. We saw tons of crocodiles on the boat tour, including several jumping out of the water and snapping to feed. Such a great experience - would recommend!

I went to hartlys crocodile sanctuary this week ,while visiting palm cove QLD for a 5 day break from melbourne ,what a fantastic experience this place was ,its eco friendly ,and into the conservation of native australian wildlife ,the koala experience was wonderful, and l also had the luxury of holding a baby koala ,there is a sectioned off part of this very natural sanctuary, where the kangaroos roam freely and you can interact and feed them ,the children all loved feeding them carrots and apples and touching them ,the two crocodile shows with a croc named hadgrid was both interesting to watch and very educational as well about these amazing animals ,the boat ride around their river was terrific, we saw crocs sunbaking ,and the guide fed one as it leapt out of the water ,there is a good eating area for lunch and drinks, and its not expensive either ,l chose a package to be picked up from my hotel and taken back, l think its worth a visit and great for children, to interact up close with our native wildlife

Sorry I didn't review this sooner; I had to pay for two people (the reservation would not let me book for just one) but I gladly paid for two just to experience being with Koalas! The breakfast was fine, the grounds were lovely and held my interest during the morning I was there, and holding a Koala (extra cost) for a picture - priceless!

Following the pandemic "Breakfast with the koalas" was not availble to us on the day we could visit. However we upgraded to "Hartley's Gold" and we were not disappointed. On arrival we were directed to the boat cruise but asked to return by 1100 (we had got there at 1000). The boat cruise to see the Crocodiles was excellent - full of information and sights of crocodiles big and small. Also a lot about the history of the Park and how this was protecting Crocodiles by protecting them from persecution. Back at the main entrance we were met by a lovely keeper (originally from Melbourne) who gave us a personal tour of the Park going behind the scenes as well. Very interesting and if she didn't know the answer she went and found out. Some real highlights were the squirrel gliders, the frogmouth owl that looked like wood, feeding the huge crocodiles and of course the Koalas. We were fortunate enough to have a picture taken with them. Amazing place doing amazing things!

We had a lovely breakfast at Hartleys, meeting Violet the Koala up close and personal. The breakfast setting near the lagoon was ideal, and the breakfast was basic but nice.

Hello! Would love to book this, but through Trip Advisor the only option is for 2 people, and I would be going alone. Is that an option, or not?

Hello! During breakfast with the Koalas do the keepers allow you to hold a Koala too? Or can you only watch them?
Thank you!

The keeper will hold the Koala. You can watch and learn about them from the keeper. You can have a photo holding a koala but you will need to pay extra for that at the park.
