We took the train up the mountain with the gold ticket and the Skyway cable down with the glass bottom upgrade. Both upgrades were worth it in our opinion, but make sure you don't eat before your train ride as they give you multiple courses during the train ride. The upgraded

Up to Kuranda on the Skyrail-stunning views & a spectacular way to see the vastness of the rainforest. The Kuranda township is very touristy & seemed run down. It needs a facelift, but Birdworld was definitely worth a visit. The return journey on the Scenic Railway Gold Class

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Would recommend. Can’t think of 100 characters to write in review! Why make it so difficult to write a simple review of something we enjoyed and recommend.

Nothing to review as Down Under failed to pick me up where they told me to wait. They "are unable to refund" my $200+ fee or donate it to Bushfire Appeal as I suggested. Rating of 1 as I can't give zero.

Response from DUT_Marketing, Manager at Skip the Line: Kuranda Scenic Railway Gold Class and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
Responded Jan 15, 2020
Hi I6262MQdavidsm, We are disappointed to read your review about your experience on Monday. I have checked our records and discussed this with our Reservations Manager regarding what occurred with your pickup. Our Reservations Manager personally spoke to you over the phone on Sunday (the day prior to your tour) to confirm that our coach would pick you up at 8:05am from the bus stop just to the right outside of your accommodation. She also mentioned if you were still unsure to ask your Reception staff as they would be able to show you, as the bus pickup is designated specifically for your Hotel. The next morning our driver could not locate you at this advised location and searched for 22 minutes to try and locate you. After advising our Reservations team he could not locate you, they were able to make contact with you by phone. You advised you had walked to a bus stop 450 metres away from your accommodation. By this time it was 8:35am. Once we found your location, our driver stopped opposite to where you were seated. You then advised our Reservations staff that whilst you could see the bus, you no longer wished to travel, and declined our offer to travel on another day. Our cancellation policy on the day of travel is 25% of the booking, and as you booked and paid through TripAdvisor, our Reservations team advised that you are required to request your refund via TripAdvisor directly (as we do not have your funds). We are disappointed that we were not given the opportunity to take good care of you on the after our team went to great effort to locate you, and in doing so delayed the tour by 30 minutes. We hope you enjoyed the remainder of your holiday. The DUT Team.
