Great way to spend the day
We loved this walking tour. Brisbane is such a delight to explore and Lee-anne did a great job. The tour finished in GOMA where we spent the rest of our afternoon. Will do the City Essential tour next.

    I loved this tour
Thank you Lee-Ann for showing me the beautiful art work on this 3 hour walking tour. I enjoyed your descriptions and our little discussions about each piece. You got to know what I was interested in and made it personalized. This tour has you looking in every direction to find more art. Lee-Ann is very knowledgeable and at the end of this tour you keep looking for more art work in Brisbane. Thanks again Lee-Ann

A wonderful and eye-opening way to explore Brisbane : very worthwhile! If I did it again tomorrow I’m sure I would enjoy it just as much (and see other artworks too).

    Brisbane City up close
We have always enjoyed the way a walk taken by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide can introduce us and connect us with a city. We have done them in London, Brugge, Oxford, Melbourne etc. etc. Gabby, from Walk Brisbane, took us on a 3 hour Introduction to Brisbane. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, looked after our comfort and safety, and had some great stories. Recommended for seeing Brisbane close up.

Insider Knowledge of Great City Art and Design
This walking tour shows you the hidden gems of art and design that proliferate the Brisbane CBD. The tour trains you to look up and down as well as at street level because Brisbane's art is in a myriad of places. Tour guide Lee-Ann has a wonderful knowledge of the works and will open your eyes to another side of the city.

    Well worth the time
We headed of with Leanne for our 3 hour walking tour in a small group of 3. A fantastic way to spend 3 hours and get a great overview of Brisbane. Leanne shared the history of the city in a way in which was fun and informative as well strolled around this beautiful city. We learnt about the Mayne family - the city first benefactors, the city’s first female doctor, Lillian Cooper who was truly a woman ahead of her times and got an overview of the amazing development happening in the city. Together with seeing sights tucked away and art work that you wouldn’t find by yourself, this all comes together to make a great tour. Thanks Leanne for a great time, when were next in Brisbane we looking forward to taking another of your great tours.

We had a great tour with Lee-Anne! She's very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the city's streetart, sculptures, history and design! Also she's super helpful and took a lot of time to answer all our endless questions about Australia and Brisbane! Loads of fun and greatly appreciated! Thanks so much Lee-Anne!

Amazing Tour / Amazing guide / The best experince ever
We started preparing our visit to Brisbane a few months in advance and looked for local guides with great expertise. It's not that easy esp if you are coming from the other part of the world and have no connections at your chosen destination. After thoughtful research I have come across WalkBrisbane and Lee-Anne - a director of the company. I must say that the way she handled all our requirements and questions was absolutely amazing! Not only was she always available to assist with advice/recommendation/response to email (despite 11 hrs difference) but she planned the tour in details taken on board all our preferences and needs. The tour was a combination of City introduction and Art/Design as we were quit limited in time. Everyone loved it, loved Lee-Anne and I recommend her agency with pleasure and confidence. If you want to fall in love with Brisbane - walk with with WalkBrisbane! Maria (UK)

    Brisbane Walking Tour
I can’t recommend Lee-Anne and Walk Brisbane highly enough, but I’ll have a go. Lee-Anne was recommended to me by my daughter who’d gone on two walks with them some three or four months earlier. To my amazement, Lee-Anne remembered my daughter and mentioned her several times during our walk saying things that had caught her attention! The walk on the morning of the only free day I had in Brisbourne was fully booked. My disappointment turned to delight when Lee-Anne offered to run an additional walk for me in the afternoon! I found the time with Lee-Anne to be educational, interesting and fun. The term ‘enter-trainer’ springs to mind. I found Lee-Anne’s approach, which flows through Walk Brisbane where Lee-Anne is Director, to hit the perfect balance of professionalism while being matched to the interest of the client. Whilst I learned much, Lee-Anne was able to dig deeper in areas of particular interest to me. Lee-Anne’s philosophy is based on client empathy and is more like a conversation than a lecture. No loudhailers or tour guide flags here! Group size is kept to a maximum of eight people so everyone receives personal attention and feels comfortable asking questions. In my case, the group was very small - just me! If I find myself in Brisbane again I’d be sure to book further walks and have no hesitation is recommending Walk Brisbourne to anyone. Enjoyable even for locals!
I lived in Brisbane for 3 years, yet during the tour I learnt for the first time many interesting pieces of information about this beautiful city which made me curious to look deeper and learn more. Christine, the guide, is such a nice friendly lady.

The worst value tour in Brisbane! Nearly 300 AUD for a short stroll around the most obvious landmarks ending up at a tourist trap restaurant. Bypasses Anzac Square, Tower Mill, and many truly significant points of interest.

What a wonderful way to learn about both the history and the current development of Brisbane. Our guide Lee-Anne was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Even though we only live an hour away and have visited Brisbane often she taught us a lot. Loved discovering ‘Blu Art Xinja’, exploring the heritage buildings, Queens Wharf project and much more. Whether you are new to Brisbane or a local this tour has something new for everyone.

Our family had a lovely walking tour of Brisbane city with Robyn as our guide. Robyn was warm, friendly and informative, and we enjoyed the history, architecture and street art (much of which we would have overlooked on our own!) which were highlighted to us along the tour. Highly recommended!

Thank you for your lovely review of your recent Walk Brisbane City Essentials tour. I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time exploring Brisbnae with Robyn as your guide. You are so right, you would have quite possibly overlooked many of the things Robyn was able to show if you were on your own. When you only have a short period of time a guide who knows our city so well is invaluable. Take care, Lee-Anne

The tour covered just about any area of interest you might have from art, architecture, city officials, influential women, food, street art, and more! We enjoyed her company so much! And made a new friend. Fabulous time!

Spent the morning with Lee-Anne and Jess. Knowledgeable and friendly guides. Learned a lot about Brisbane and Australia. Any question I threw at them was not a problem. Wish I had time to do the Laneways tour. Highly recommend!💖

Hi Kate, Thanks for your very kind review. I'm glad we were able to answer the questions you posed to us. Of course, there is always something to learn, but we are pretty confident we know Brisbane very well! It was also great that you did find time to come on our Laneways and Cafes tour; we had a fun afternoon with you then also. Take care Lee-Anne

It was a great experience and well worth taking this tour with Ariana. It was just three of us with her as the guide. She is a tremendous source of information on a fairly leisurely walk through the city. She gave information with great historical context and pointed out most of the interesting places. She also had a good pieces of advise on places to eat and visit.

We stayed in Brisbane four days and like the first tour so much we did a second and were lucky enough to get the same guide both times. The city tour was a good combination of historical and recent events, city sculptures and beautiful gardens. We were lucky to have a nice group of people from different countries.

We took the recommendation to take the free red boat to the south bank beach afterwards and did this every day after. The second tour was lanes and cafes and our only complaint was that there was too much food! We loved the lamington and the story behind it. Fun but relaxing too.

This is one of the better walking tours I've taken and it's completely free unlike the other free tours that expect tips. The guide Tina, said they do the tours because they want to. It was really nice - it was a smaller group than what I'm accustomed to but that made it more personal and the guide would call us by name when talking to us. I just wish it had been a broader tour- we went inside the, city hall I think (the building in King George Square), and that was alright but I would've rather seen more places in the city.

Hi Kitara43. I'm really pleased you enjoyed your visit to Brisbane. Walk Brisbane offers small group walking tours, of up to 8 people. We certainly love our work, and don't work on a tip basis, but do have a ticket price for our tours.
