Enjoy exciting, up-close encounters with humpback whales as they migrate through the crystal clear waters of Brisbane’s Moreton Bay between the months of June and November. Be amazed as you watch these gentle giants of the sea breech and play within meters of the luxury high-speed catamaran. Your whale watching cruise includes a gourmet buffet lunch including fresh tiger prawns, cold meats and salads. Choose to join the whale watching cruise at Redcliffe Jetty or include roundtrip coach transport from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast.
Take in Moreton Bay views on your whale-watching cruise from Redcliffe
Learn about whale biology and behavior as you travel from a guide
Hearty buffet lunch provided on board
Guaranteed whale sightings from the deck of the custom-built catamaran
What to Expect
Head for Redcliffe Jetty to board the high-speed catamaran, custom-built for whale watching. Alternatively, if you upgraded to hotel pickup from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, be ready for a pickup at your hotel.
Once on board, choose a spot on the top-level sun deck or inside for some shade and views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Search Moreton Bay for migrating humpback whales and learn about their biology and behavior through guided commentary. During the season (June through November) it's not unusual to see whales breaching or swimming beside the catamaran, so keep your camera ready.
Take a pause from sightseeing for an onboard buffet lunch comprised of salad, cold meats, and tiger prawns.
The whale-watching cruise ends at Redcliffe Jetty where it started. If you selected the round-trip transportation, the tour ends with hotel drop-off.

I'm afraid that you are outside of the whale watching season. Most tours run June-October which is when the whales migrate to the warm waters off the coast of Australia to give birth. You'll have a great time in Brisbane and the surrounding area though so don't fear!

Hi Geoff. I have only just seen your question. I rang & made the booking over the phone as I wanted to make sure that we were booked on the same trip as our family, who had made their booking a few weeks earlier. I suggest you ring the Whale Watching company direct as they will have the correct answer to your question.
