Simply superb! The wildlife, scenery, the sense of adventure and the seamlessly planned experience was second to none! Mattia is hugely knowledgeable, very considerate and a true gentleman. The places we visited, animals we saw and memories made were just amazing! This is a brilliant time of the year to do Kakadu - Hot yes but with the wonders of sunscreen, hats, cold water and aircon nothing was too extreme. When I say it felt like a private tour I mean it - at most places we were the only ones there, even in the Crocodile Hotel! Mattia had everything planned meticulously and even managed to secure access to a closed (for the season) UNESCO site so we literally had the place to ourselves!!! He even packed cold drinks and snacks which our 10 year old thought was the bees knees! Cannot fault a thing!

Mattia provided 5 days of exploring the incredible parks of the Northern Territory: Kakadu, Katherine Gorge and Litchfield. He created a trip that exceeded our expectations. Bird watching, photography and culture were the key items on our agenda. He provided comfortable touring and lodging, good meals, fabulous swimming places like nothing I have ever experienced, and very knowledgeable guiding information. In addition, Mattia is pleasant company and keen to show off all that he treasures about the area. We are so glad we booked a private tour and took the time this area deserves!

Mattia was very flexible - adjusting the time at each place to suit our desires. Very knowledgeable on local geology, plants, animals, and the indigenous people. When we got done at litchfield a bit early he took us to a beach at brisbane. Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent 2-days Kakadu tour. Mattia not only showed us the highlights but also fullfilled our expectations, e.g. showing us the beautiful Jim Jim Falls. Perfect trip. Only the Crocodile hotel was a disappointment -really outdated.

If you are looking for a guide in NT, look no further! Mattia knows all the good spots, when to go and what they are/mean in the region and its people. He has also developped relationships with the local tribes by earning their respect. He knows their culture, history and customs. We noticed it wasn't always the case with other operators who seemed more distanced from the indigenous run tours. Mattia perfectly understood what travelling with three young kids means and has created the perfect itinerary for us. Not rushed and yet two very full days. He is very thoughtfull and makes sure everyone enjoys the time. He is a very sincere and humble person who clearly has a passion for the culture of the region. I could not recommend his services enough.

We have just returned from a 5 Day Top End (Kakadu, Litchfield, Katherine Gorge, Mataranka) tour with Mattia from NT Top Adventures. The tour was amazing - with just my wife and I, along with Mattia from (the owner of) NT Top Adventures as our guide, driver, preparer of picnics and wealth of both local and indigenous knowledge. Not having to tour with a group of other tourists meant that we were able to enjoy amazing waterfalls and swimming holes without having to compete with others for privacy/serenity and photo opportunities. The tour was able to be adapted on the fly according to our wants, preferences, and the local environmental conditions. Mattia ensured we had plenty of food (with a great selection) and drink throughout the tour, and the nightly (motel/cabin) accommodation was lovely. The scenery/landscape, flora and fauna; along with the indigenous art and history that was on display right across Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield was simply stunning. Mattia's local knowledge was icing on the cake in terms of providing context and background to the stories, culture and way of life that of the local indigenous people both past and present. The swimming opportunities were amazing and the scenery is awe inspiring. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend longer exploring the top end. We have no hesitation in giving a five star review for the tour and for Mattia's can do approach and great attention to detail in his planning.

Booked this tour for group of friends to get a quick overview of Kakadu scenery, wildlife and aboriginal rock art. The tour exceeded expectations especially as tour guide Mattia was very knowledgeable and personable. The food provided was excellent and the well organized tour made the trip unforgettable. We all learnt a lot about Kakadu and Aboriginal culture. Would highly recommend this trip and company to anyone looking for a VIP small group tour. Ray S

We took the Kakadu day tour followed the next day with a tour of Litchfield and the Crocs. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food supplied was excellent. It was very easy to book the tour and our email questions were answered in a timely manner. I would highly recommend NT Top Adventures.

We were visiting Darwin on a cruise and rather than join a large group excursion booked a trip in advance online with NT Top Adventures. Mattia scheduled the trip to coincide with our ship arrival and departure times including picking us up and dropping us off at the cruise terminal. We had a really good trip into the bush visiting Litchfield Park, termite mounds, waterfalls, wildlife, flora and fauna and finally finished with a refreshing drink in the local bar.
