After morning pickup at 10am at your Darwin accommodation, travel in a climate-controlled bus for about one hour to reach the Adelaide River.
Upon arrival at the river, board a sturdy boat that is designed to provide an up-close view of the crocs. Keep your camera at the ready for your crocodile cruise. You might even see birds of prey such as the white-breasted sea eagle swoop down to steal meat from the crocodiles. The Adelaide River hosts a variety of wildlife both in the water and on the riverbank.
Next, get great views of the wetlands, birds and animals at the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre. Then return to Darwin where your tour ends with transfer back to your hotel or cruise ship.
Take a half-day tour from Darwin that includes a crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River and a stop at the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre. Watch crocodiles jump up from the river to snatch hunks of meat just outside your boat, then take in the region's wildlife and wetland. Includes crocodile boat cruise, and hotel pickup and drop-off in Darwin.

Amazing! Closest you'll get to the crocs!
We had an amazing jumping crocodile trip with Wallaroo Tours. They picked us up from our hotel in Darwin in a van and not a moment was wasted, as we were treated to interesting commentary by our driver on the trip there and back.

Fantastic experience with Pat At the helm
Best experience of our trip. Educational, fascinating and awe inspiring. Pat the guide is very knowledgeable about crocodiles and all the other wildlife. We saw many different crocodiles including two large alpha males up close enough to get splashed by them.

Hi, We recently visited Darwin in May and did the Jumping Crocodile tour booked through Darwin Tours/Wallaroo Tours. It cost $95.00 and was a day trip that went down the Adelaide River and back there are no other drop off points along this river. We were picked up from our accommodation at 10.00 in the morning and dropped back there after the tour finished around 4.00 in the afternoon. This tour was the best thing we did in Darwin and Pat, the tour guide on the boat was amazing. You will love his knowledge of the crocodiles and the Darwin area. Prepare yourself for the size of these majestic animals it will blow your mind, they are huge and prehistoric looking. I didn't want to tour to finish.
