Informative , great guides interesting worth the money
Had a great trip from Darwin to see Jumping Crocodiles , it saved me hiring a car. Ian our guide was informative and took us to see the cultural centre, bird watching and a great lunch at the Humpty Doo pub .

This tour provided a useful introduction to Darwin and many of its features. It also provided entrance to several very interesting museums. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

          Fantastic Darwin Sunset Cruise.
The Charles Darwin Dinner Cruise was one of the best experiences my wife and I had planned to do on our say in Darwin. Angela is a lover of seafood and the selection on board the cruise was fantastic. The Captain, (a very funny man) and crew were great and only too happy to assist in any way possible. The sunset in Darwin and photographs were priceless to us. A special mention to "Lina" at the drinks bar for one of best Cocktail's my wife has ever had in Darwin. Thanks for a Fabulous Dinner Cruise and excellent photo opportunities, Kind regards to all your great staff, Raymond and Angela Hansford from Northgate in Soth Australia.

          Exceptional Tour............
What a great way to get around and see Darwin and the many interesting sights that it has to offer, particularly as we were first time arrivals in this fabulous city. We were amazed at the history of the place and its many interesting items which our tour guide went to great lengths to share what he knew about the places we were visiting. The minibus was quite comfortable and air-conditioned and the driver/ guide knew his stuff and went to great lengths to ensure that all on board had a good tour. Overall, a very worthwhile tour and is highly recommended.

          Jumping Crocodile Lunch Tour
We had a fantastic day. Our tour guide (Ash I think his name was) was amazing. He had so much knowledge of Darwin and provided us with an amazing day. Crododile Jumping, swimming holes at Litchfield, a lovely fresh sandwich lunch, a stopover at Humpty Doo pub and to top it all off we watched the sunset at Fannie Bay with sparkling champagne and prawns. Fabulous day!!

          Amazing!
Ash, our guide, was informative and entertaining and the half day option was perfect for us. Saw lots of crocs and other amazing wildlife then finished with lunch and a cold beverage. Highly recommend.

A fun experience in the Top End. Jump on the boat and keep your arms in as the guide takes you on a ride with Crocks jumping up beside the boat .

          Better than expected.
My wife insisted "let's do both the jumping crocs & Litchfield NP". I initially thought, "circus trick" with trained crocs!... but the Adelaide River really is an enormously natural environment & for the spectators, it feels that way too. Litchfield & its waterways can be very busy, but what another natural phenomenon this place is, with swimming holes & waterfalls... let's not forget those spectacular termite cathedrals & magnetic mounds!! Walleroo Tours do both sites & sell themselves as "Luxury", as they throw some prawns & champers in the tour, I'd call them "very good & informative", with average buses & worthy destinations.

Fantastic operators and a great tour
A great day tour with a fantastic guide. Lucky for us, they had some cancellations so we had a private guided tour with Karen. She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. One of the unexpected highlights was the Fogg Dam visit. Such an amazing spot with great wildlife and flora. The jumping crocodiles were also great. Highly recommend booking a tour with Wallaroo Tours. They are first class operators. We’ll definitely book with them again on our next visit to Darwin

          Ordinary
Kay was our tour guide. We learnt a lot about celiac and gluten free. We really did not need to be told about who in the family suffered from this and the effects. We also did not need to know whether she was turning left or right. It was meant to be a tour of the city of Darwin. It was the least informative tour. It cost $$ and was not worth the money. The bonus was the bus was cool.

We had a brilliant day. Saw loads of crocodiles and a jabiru eating a snake. Tony, our guide, was great. Had a good lunch as well. Thanks to Kay for the driving.

          Darwin highlights
It was a great way to get a glimpse at some of the significant highlights of Darwin. The Art Gallery and Museum were a credit to the city but I really did wonder in amazement at the Oil Tunnels- difficult to fully comprehend the enormity of the project.

Absolutely fantastic! Ash our guide was super friendly and knowledgable. Even though it was a little cooler in the morning the crocs were still out and jumping. Fantastic experience topped off with a great lunch. Highly recommended.

Driver /guide forgot 1 pickup location, meaning those guests missed the jumping crocs
Jumping crocs with Pat was great. Very knowledgeable.

Stops at waterfalls were good, but didnt gain any real additional commentary or benefit from being on a tour as opposed to driving ourselves. Lunch was cheap supermarket bread and processed meat and salad. For the cost of the tour we could have easily hired a car and had a far more substantial lunch.

Bus 'lost' 2nd and 4th gear initially, then 1st and 3rd gear meaning we were stuck in 5th and didn't stop to see termite mounds. Drove through a stop sign in 5th gear. Luckily the other car travelling toward the intersection with right of way was a hundred metres away.

Unfortunate timing for trip where some passengers received notification directing them to isolate and get tested for covid. No arrangements were made to assist isolating these individuals. It was only when other passengers queried it they were given masks, supplied by other passengers. They were not dropped back at their hotel as soon as possible to facilitate isolation but continued on to have drinks and prawns and then were dropped at Mindil markets. Totally irresponsible of the tour operators.

Feel sorry for the driver/guide. It was his first tour after 1 familiarisation, and he had a fair bit thrown at him.

Thanks for your review. Breakdowns do occur occasionally on tour and they are unexpected. All operators have new guides to the industry since COVID. It takes some time to get up to speed on all the required knowledge but Simon does his best. Our tour according to NT Health is a tourism bubble with all passengers asked to use the Territory Checkin App where ever they go. All passengers on that day were tested with no positive COVID results received.

We were picked up on time from our Darwin hotel and headed straight to the Adelaide River for the croc jumping cruise. This was an amazing close up experience with a very authentic and knowledgeable guide and lots of crocodiles all within touching distance, but we were safely behind a security mesh barrier in the boat.

After a quick stop at the Humpty Doo pub for the experience, we continued to Litchfield and Wangi, the first of the falls and a great picnic lunch, then off to Florence Falls for a walk and a swim. After a further stop at the termite mounds in the park, we returned to Darwin in time for sunset over Fannie Bay with prawns and sparkling wine. A great finish to a perfect day in the NT.

We travelled on Thursday 17 June 2021 and our guide/driver for the day was very personable, knowledgeable and a safe driver. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he added to the enjoyment of the day.

Every part of this trip was brilliant! The driver was so lovely and informative and really engaged with everyone. The jumping croc tour was epic, the guy running it is so knowledgeable and really cares about the crocodiles. Swimming in the rock pool under the waterfall was a wonderful experience and Litchfield is stunning! Finish the day watching sunset with prosecco and prawns.
Couldn't have asked for more 10/10.

We had a great time on this trip.
Swimming in the falls and luckily avoiding unseasonal thundery rain.. our driver/guide, Ian, was a careful driver and a knowledgeable guide. He offered a lot of informative comments about the locality and some of the historical people.
The jumping crocodiles were truly fearsome and the boat driver was very safety conscious as well as humorous in her comments.
Lunch at the falls was a nice cold buffet with plenty to eat.
The prawns and champagne finish in Darwin at sunset capped off a lovely day.

If you are looking for a small group tour this is the one, fantastic day out, I can't speak highly enough of this company. Being on my own I felt safe and happy at all times, They will give you the whole experience in a relaxed, educational, friendly manner, from private croc jumping, to eating prawns watching the sun set . Exceeded all expectations.

Best tour I have ever been on! Our guide/driver Tony gave us interesting historical information along our journey, set up our lunch as we swam, and kept us smiling throughout the day. Pat shared a wealth of knowledge about the crocodiles, his deep respect for these animals is evident in all aspects of the cruise, providing detailed anatomical and behavioural information, explaining the Aboriginal perspective, and installing a protective cage over the propeller of the boat to ensure their safety. The termite mounds are impressive. Wangi and Florence Falls were beautiful, so lovely to swim in waterholes and the fish are friendly! The day finished with prawns and drinks as we watched the sunset over the sea. We plan to do the tour again before we leave because one family member couldn't make it on the day and we don't want them to miss this amazing experience. 10/10

This tour was the best we have been in the NT. From start to finish our tour guide Simon was fantastic in giving us relevant information on the flora and fauna of the region. He was not only knowledgeable but also thoughtful and kind. My husband had a bad knee and Simon ensured his safety when walking to see the sights. The whole trip from start to finish was memorable and one we will remember fondly and recommend 100%. Thank you Simon, you are a super guide!

What a fabulous day. It was truly a great way to experience some of the wonderful places NT has to offer. Loved the crocs! It was a very up close look into their world on the Adelaide river. Thanks Pat for taking us out on your boat.
Swimming in the waterholes and under the waterfalls at Litchfield NP was very special and an absolute must. The day went so quickly as we were having so much fun experiencing everything with a great group of people. We were only a small group and that’s what I liked about this tour. We were looked after extremely well by our very knowledgeable guide Simon. Thank you!
Wallaroo tours also put on a lovely lunch and we finished the day the Darwin way watching the sunset eating prawns and drinking bubbles. What more could you ask for.

Had an excellent time, the whole tour was better than expected and we had high expectations! We visited Darwin just for this tour and were worried about wet season but it was clear the whole 2 days we were in Darwin.

The tour operator and our driver was so funny, dry humour and we all really enjoyed him throughout the day.

We had a great time with Pat at the crocodile tour he’s very knowledgeable. Note: don’t wear clothes or shoes you care about as the crocs flick their tail and splash mud on you which was fun and part of the experience! I just wish I didn’t wear white haha...great fun all around.

Swimming in the Florence Falls at the end of the trip was also absolutely amazing!!

The sunset spot at the end with prawns and extra surprises was so cute and a really relaxing evening and way to finish up a busy day.

Highly recommend this tour to everyone in Darwin!
