    What to Expect
Let us pick you up from your hotel within Ayers Rock Resort, approximately 4 hours before Sunset, and begin our afternoon of adventure. Our first stop is at the Mutitjulu waterhole where you guide will lead you to view ancient Aboriginal Rock art and marvel at Uluru's beauty. After this it's time to learn how to Segway, we'll provide you with all the safety equipment you need and give you some time to practice in our purpose built training course. Once you are comfortable on your Segway it's time to follow your guide and Segway the most scenic section of Uluru's impressive base.

After Segwaying around one quarter of the base of this massive rock, it's time to explore on foot. This time we'll visit some of the unique and interesting caves on the Mala Walk. Whilst here, your guide can explain to you about the environment and Anangu (local Aboriginal) culture. As the sun drops lower on the horizon we'll set up a sunset picnic of nibbles and softdrinks. You'll enjoy an intimate sunset right at the base of Uluru, take some amazing photos before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Did the sunset 1/4 way around at end of November so weather was HOT. Definitely recommend doing the tour despite this. The speed of the segway provides a nice breeze while moving and all stops are in the shade. Learned so much from Nick, our guide. His stories about

Hi Dawn, Thanks for the great review! It is brilliant to hear that your family enjoyed your Quarter Uluru Segway & Sunset tour so much and that your teenagers were more engaged and interested in learning about local culture because of the fun element of Segway riding. We agree, Segway riding is a great opportunity to keep the whole family having fun and learning! We'll be sure to pass your great feedback on to Nick. Nick is an exceptional guide with so much passion for the Red Centre and it's culture, nature and history. Great tips about the fly nets too. We hope the rest of your time in the Red Centre was just as great. Cheers, From all of us at Uluru Segway Tours.

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed learning and then doing the segway ride partway around the base of Uluru. I booked the shorter version at sunset, apprehensive that I might not be able to handle a long segway ride but it was easy to learn and at the end everybody wished it was

This was for the first time to ride a segway. The training time was enough, and not so difficult to ride. The climate was severe, so your solution for sun tan and dehydration is needed. Their expranations for some places were very enough as well. You can get some goods of this
