We had the absolute pleasure of being driven by Daniel (SEIT) and guided by Anangu elder Sammy on this totally enjoyable afternoon/evening trip. Daniel was on time picking us up, an excellent driver, enthusiastic about his job and extremely knowledgable about his work responsibilities. Sammy was wonderful; explaining aspects of aboriginal lore and showing us a variety of herbs and edibles still used by his mob as they have learnt from thousands of years of shared knowledge and experience. And what a great sense of humour!

Daniel was well experienced in supporting Sammy and asking him questions to inspire him to tell us further stories. Dan is also an accomplished host, feeding/watering us twice and helping to ensure we got to the sunset viewing platform with plenty of time for just the four of us to enjoy what they get to see probably every day.

We had the privilege of travelling on aboriginal land as Sammy was accompanying us. He left us with an even greater respect for the custodians of the lands around Uluru. We were so pleased to purchase the book 'I Am Uluru', the story of Sammy and his forebears as Sammy had shown us original photos from the book and told us a little more of the struggles and victories of his recent ancestors in establishing and maintaining joint management of the National Park with the Commonwealth Government.

We were lucky to have just the two of us on this tour and the only thing I would recommend, due to its length and need to get on and off quite a lot in order to enjoy the experience, is that you try for a bus load no bigger than 6-7. Although the bus can hold slightly more than this, it would be a bit uncomfortable especially in the heat (which we gratefully missed as we visited in May).

Thoroughly recommend the tour and SEIT. As a result, we booked the SEIT Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge walk a few days later.

This tour is a must do when you come to Uluru. My partner and I had Michele as our seit guide and Ken as our anangu guide. We were taken out into country and got to learn all about the land, culture and history of this area. We also got to try witchetty grub for the first time. What made this tour stand out and make it special to others in the area, was everything told by an anangu person in their perspective. We learnt so much and both guides did an excellent job at helping us understand this land for all its value. Thank you for having us from Nat and Sari!

It was fantastic to have Michael a traditional owner guiding us through his homeland. So interesting to see parts of the country tourists don’t get to share. This experience made us see central Australia through indigenous eyes. Truly unique. Thank you Dan the driver, Michael and SEIT.

Wonderful afternoon with Michael Uluru and Dan our S.E.I.T. guide. We met a Thorny Devil. Michael spotted the tiny creature by the road sunning in the sand. Dug for witchetty grubs and saw the land through Anangu eyes. This tour gives context for the whole experience of this sacred and marvellous place.

Maika was our guide and Tom was our Anangu teacher. We drove over 100 km through the area, stopping and learning first hand the importance of the land and traditions. Felt very honored to be able to share this experience. Very impactful. A truly rewarding experience.

For those wishing a First Peoples experience, travelling with Sammy Wilson, senior traditional owner is a rich experience.
When you participate it may be another of Sammy's family who accompanies you.
Jesse, the SEIT guide was very accommodating @ enhanced our experience with Sammy.

We went on 3 trips with Seit, each with a different guide who were all excellent, the standout trip though was with an additional local guide Ken.
An unforgettable day for all of us, many thanks Graham

Gareth was an excellent tour guide. It was encouraging to meet a young positive Aboriginal role model in TJ and hear his ideas to move forward with Parks and with his people. Loved the whole tour.

Small group experience travelling into the private lands of the Anangu people with Ken, son of senior traditional owner, Sammy Wilson who shared the knowledge and teachings of their people. Beautiful views of Uluru and Kata Tjutu with sunset.
Highly recommended for those seeking a first hand insight into this wonderful part of our country. Our 2 SEIT guides were very good joining Ken in stories and history.
