          Great Evening at the rock
Our bus driver was great, she made the drive enjoyable. The food was plentiful and sooo tasty. Bubbles, and sunset over Uluru to round off a great experience

Uluru and its attractions are number 1
Desert Gardens Hotel was a wonderful place to stay, they also coordinated all of our day and evening trips with precision. I would highly recommend using Emu Run for your trip to Uluru. Most definitely the most spectacular place to visit. Don't miss it.

Need to be Physically and Medically fit to do this Day Tour
My tour was booked with Discover Australia Holidays. Tour began in an old 4WD bus. Extremely rough terrain, bounced around a lot, noisy, no aircon. Bus driver stated he was not a tour guide so didn't offer any history on the area or the plant life. 2x Walks were included in this tour, regardless whether you do them or not. Steep walks/climb over rocks and up hills. No mention from my tour company that the walks were moderate to strenuous fitness level. If you are a senior or someone with any type of physical or medical condition I'd advise against this tour OR ask a lot of questions.

Great Experience at Uluru, Kings Canyon, & Kata Tjuta
We went on a 3 days trip to Uluru, Kings Canyon, and Kata Tjuta (the second and third day was operated by AATKings). The tours are well planned, and the guides are very punctual. There seems to be a slight miscommunication with AATKings on our third day, but it was promptly fixed by EmuRun.

          Just do it! ;)
The one day uluru tour was so much fun, I had an amazing time with my group, the bus driver sheldon and with our tour guide yad! We learned a lot about the rock itself and about geographical and cultural facts, as well as the nature around it. It was really interesting! The one thing I kinda regret: Only having time for an one day tour! ;))

Such a great day and fabulous guide (Scott). The landscape was beautiful and we enjoyed learning about the geology and local aboriginal stories.

          West MacDonnell Range highlights
Had Bluey as our guide along the West MacDonnell Ranges. Bluey’s knowledge was second to none. Learnt so much from him, and was amazed by his narrative and descriptions throughout the whole day. Had a terrific day, with lunch and morning tea.

          Excellent customer service
I did an off train excursion from the Ghan. Scotty was an excellent guide and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour. However he went above and beyond to get me some much needed medication even delivering it to the train in his own time. Thank you so much Scotty.

A great way to spend the day.
We were picked up on time at our hotel and transported to our destinations easily. Yad was great in telling us how long it would take to get to a site, how long we had there as well as local history and necessary customs. Our last stop was an outdoor venue with a perfect view of Ayer’s Rock for a nice barbecue with plenty of options for fussy eaters (not me :-) ) Only downside was that we were trying to understand words in the native Aboriginal language and also understand them with Yad’s accent. A bit of a challenge, but there are plenty of informational signs along the walking routes.

First Class Tour company - experts in the Alice Springs area.
Cannot rate this company highly enough. Our initially booked travel to the Alice area got messed up, and in hindsight this was a blessing. We did a mixture of group day tours, all with a legend of guide named Bluey. A master storyteller and a fountain of knowledge on the history, the people, the geology, the flora and fauna of the area. With Bluey as the guide, we did the half day "Historical Alice" tour, the West McDonnell Ranges tour and the Palm Valley Tour. Because we couldn't align dates for other tours to our desired visits to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon, Emu Run presented the option of a private tour over three days to these areas. A bit more expensive, but what an experience - just the tour guide, my partner and I. Our guide Filippe was brilliant. He made sure we had the best time. Provided us with lots of information about the area, and also willing to share lots about his homeland of Chile - which now puts Chile on our list of places we want to go. The flexibility of the private tour means you're not locked into group timings, and you are able to spend a little more time at some points of interest, as long as you still fit in with the overall allowable tour times.

A day trip not to miss.
An excellent day covering the highlights of the West MacDonnell ranges- Stanley Chasm, Simpsons Gap, Ormiston George amongst others. Some nice walks and nothing felt rushed in a need to get to the other sites. A brilliant guide in Bluey. He's a master storyteller, an absolute fountain of knowledge - whether it's history, the geology, the flora, the people. Your own personal wikipedia for the area.

          Excellent one day tour
This is an excellent one day tour. It's a full day, and definitely worth the price. Hermannsburg an interesting precinct to visit, and spectacular scenery in Palm Valley. The 4WD aspect of the drive into and out of Palm Valley great fun - who needs roller coasters. An exceptional guide in Bluey, who is an absolute fountain of knowledge about the area - history, geology, flora and fauna - and an amazing storyteller who brings things to life.

When we booked this (quite expensive) tour, we did not realize we would be spending most of our time on the bus. Reading through the itinerary, it looked like we would have plenty of time to experience everything. We were quite disappointed. The only place we spent a good amount of time was at Uluru.

We were told that we would be able to meet and speak with the artists at the Aboiriginal Cultural Centre we visited. There was not one artist there, and we only got 20 minutes to visit this very interesting centre. Nowhere near enough time!

In the description of the tour, it states that no particular level of fitness is required. However, when we stopped at Kata Tjuta, a few of us had to stay behind because the climb across the rocks was not doable.

The tour guides and driver were good - we think - but in the bus we could hardly hear a word they were saying, because the audio system was so bad!

The bbq at sunset with view of Uluru was nice, but when we got back in the bus and took a seat, we had things dripping on us. We were not sure whether it was water, until the tour guide saw us and said that a previous customer had left an open bottle of sunscreen in the luggage rack - and that this was probably what was dripping on us. We moved seats, but the damage was done! These 3 (expensive) tops have now been washed 3 times, treated with stain remover etc., but they ended up in the bin.
The reply I received from the company when I emailed them 3 times and left 2 online message was to say that they can not be liable for customers' property. I do understand this, but in this case it was clearly a case of neglect, since they KNEW the bottle was there and did not remove it!!

All in all, this made this already expensive trip even more expensive for us.
However, even if this had not happened, I would not recommend this tour, because everything mentioned before,as well as the cost.

        What an incredible tour.
It's a long day, dont let this put you off though as the sights you see and the places you travel to (describe in the Itinery) are amazing.

A great big thank you to Gav and Eddie for looking after so well. You kept us fed, watered and entertained.

Eddie, you brought your stories about the locations and the Indeginous people to life with heart felt passion. Thank you so much.

Watching the Sunset at Uluru and enjoying a lovely BBQ with Champagne is an amazing experience.

Both guides were amazing on this tour. The right mix of friendly & really knowledgeable. I really appreciated the stories on the bus out to Uluru. I had heard sanitized versions on another bus going into Alice, so it was great to hear less “edited” versions with the Emu guides. The information at Uluru about the Anangu was presented well, with real attempts to make people get a better understanding of culture. The food was all great, & there were lovely little touches (like wet cold towels) along the way which made it extra great. Highly recommend!

I did several tours with Emu Run during my visit to the Red Centre ( airport transfers at Alice, West MacDonnell Ranges, Palm Valley, Uluru Sunrise Tour). The tour from Alice to Uluru was a long day, but very well organised. The coach driver was efficient and knowledgeable in her commentary and we packed an incredible amount of sightseeing into the day. The highlight was a delicious BBQ with views of Uluru in the background and a few glasses of lovely wine to toast a top day. I was dropped at Sails Resort at the end of the day to start my stay there, while others were transported back to Alice Springs. If you don’t have time to stay at Yulara this was a great tour to see and experience Uluru and Kata Tjuta with a great company.
Special mention to our driver and guide Jimmy for his entertaining commentary on the Palm Valley Tour.
I highly recommend Emu Run for all of your sightseeing and transportation needs in the Red Centre.

I will not recommend this tour and suggest saving your money to go to a better company..
I did this Uluru day tour and the west McDonnell day tour, both were pretty disappointing.

The west McDonnell day tour would be fine for 60+ year olds, otherwise was just pretty boring and the tour guide was definitely more for an older audience.

The Uluru day tour was the biggest disappointment.

The tour bus had many problems which caused us losing time in the locations and we didn't do one of the walks in Uluru as a result, our tour guide ( I don't remember her name, was a young female with blond hair) completely did not know how to handle that situation, was very stressed and set a very uncomfortable vibe.

She wasn't very knowledgeable and didn't tell us any stories of Uluru, I truly left without any new information that I thought I'd hear, at the walk in Uluru she sent us to walk by ourselves while she's waiting at the bus, which was very disappointing as I expected to have a guided walk with explanations of the place.

We barely had time at the stops, for example at the cultural centre we had maybe 15 mins, which is absolutely not enough as there is so much to read in there, yet we waited maybe 40 mins in a parking lot outside of the bus while she's telling us to just walk all the way to Uluru (2km) and start the Mala walk until she'll arrive to pick us up which was a ridiculous solution.

While I realise technical issues may happen sometimes with the bus, the way the guide handled the situation was ridiculous and disappointing, the fact that there is no ready solution to a situation like that is surprising.

I am very disappointed and a bit mad that I spent 300$ on that, I left feeling like I barley saw anything or heard any stories of a place with such rich history.

I will definitely not recommend this company and this tour to anyone I know to save them the money and time.

I tried contacting them via email a couple of times, on the third try they told me they'll get back to me and its been 3 weeks since..

This tour was very popular with my family of two adults, a 13 year old and an 8 year old as it started after dawn!! The bus was clean and the guide was informative and fun.
I would have liked more time at Kata Tjuta but that was my fault as the web site provided the correct information. The guided walks around Uluru were informative and enjoyable. The visitors centre was interesting.
The bbq was lovely, plenty of food and drink, no one was hungry or thirsty. It goes without saying that the view was truly magical!
This tour is perfect for mobile children and adults, I would go it again but be aware that there is not a lot of Kata Tjuta which really is a hidden gem.

Felipe and Jad were a great team who guided us on our day trip to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. They shared their knowledge about the area and its history. They were also highly organized and professional, making sure that the tour ran smoothly from beginning to end, not an easy task, when you have a (very) long drive, a big group of people, and a sunset deadline to meet, but they made look effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable Uluru experience.

The tour lasts for almost 20 hours, including 10hours of bus ride, which i am very willing to pay for the $300+ dollars. First i would like to show my gratitude and appreciation to the operators since they are opening this day tour options for for people who are having a short stay in alice springs regardless of the distance of travel between uluru and alice springs, let alone offering lunch dinner and walking guided tours ard the place.

The transfer coach was the best coach i have ever sat on in my life, the seats were comfy and you can charge your phone with usb cable, very very nice coach in a summary. Drivers are very friendly, catering all our needs and stopped by roadhouses for breaks, introducing landscape flora and fauna on the way.

Tour was kind of rush but what do u expect when it is 5 hours away from your accommodation? I cant ask for more. The guide was very friendly and informative on explaining the stories behind Kata juta and Uluru, very beautiful crew and tour. If you have a chance go for the longer tour like the 4 days 3 nights one, i reckon would be even better but if you’re in short of time, this is the best option and only option. Lunch and dinner was very lovely, better than what i expected. In short, definitely excellent.

We had a very bad experience with this tour. The pickup was late, the driver guide was impatient and the bus was noisy and smelly. We couldn't hear a thing the driver said during the trip and at each stop, the guide would not explain to us what's happening but kept telling us to be back on time. We were completely lost most of the time.

Went their to tick off our bucket list. Spend lots of money hoping to get quality like what we got from AAT Kings, but, no. All we could feel is that the company is very stingy and do not care about their customers.

This tour packs so much into just one day, fantastic for travellers who want to see the sights but don’t have a lot of time. The guides were fantastic, coach comfortable and delicious food provided. Sunset bbq included a number of salads, meats including steak and vegetarian options, salad wraps provided for lunch and a buffet breakky. The walks at Kata Tjuta and Uluru were great, although the time frame at Kata Tjuta made for a fast paced walk. I certainly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the highlights on a tight timeframe. The only feedback I have is regarding pick up time, we were set to be out the front of our hotel 10min before the pick up time provided on the confirmation emails but received a call from the guide stating we were late, other travel parties reported the same experience. Perhaps providing a sentence about being ready 15 min prior to the provided pick up time on the confirmation email is required if this is what is expected of guests.
