Great day with Australian Luxury Escapes
Our group had the pleasure of getting Grant for the day. It was a great tour that showed areas of Sydney that are not your typical "touristy" spots which I really like. Highly recommend this tour/company and will definitely go on another one of their tours next time I am in Sydney.

          Incosiderate Business Owner.
I have never used this firm. I need people to me made aware the Director of this company has for over the past year been using my neighbourhood to park his fleet of commercial vehicles down my road and nearby roads. Drivers block residents driveways, make roads narrow and come and go during all hours of the day. Many neighbours who I have reached out to are fed up, with this inconsiderate owner of this company who lives far from Normanhurst. There is one employee who lives in Normanhurst, though this Director will claim he has many workers living on my road or nearby roads, though every neighbour I have spoken with numerous surrounding neighbours all pissed off and not a single one of them works for this firm. This owner use to have his commercials cars pre.covid parked at a depo but given now he can freely park down residential roads his discovered why pay for a car depo when you can piss of an entire neighbourhood and use their streets as your car depo. This owner will send intimidating threating letters to residents claiming to be a victim. Please have some consideration for others. Why would anyone want to deal such a selfish person or support a person who has no consideration for others. When we drive out of our driveway we cannot see oncoming traffic due no visibility as a result of your vans parked to the lip our our driveways. We have small children in the car, and sadly fear it is only a matter of time a car accident may occur.

          Great day in Perth
Australian Luxury Escapes organised a private 8 hour tour of Perth and Fremantle last Saturday, adapted for our requests ( including boarding a Captain Cook cruise from Freo up the Swan River to Perth). Our guide, Arnold, was excellent- very knowledgeable and very good company. His adaptability to pivot to our needs was greatly appreciated.

THE luxury tour company to use in Australia 🇦🇺
Overall: My family of four and I were in Australia for about 3 weeks and the several tours we did with this fantastic company definitely enhanced our experience! All the guides we had were amazing, knowledge, and very keen to make sure we enjoyed the experience. They often did this by making some changes along the way as they learned what we were interested in. The vehicles were always clean, spacious and very comfortable. Water was provided and frequent stops made for snacks, coffee or as requested. Sydney: We started in Sydney with two tours. The first was a city tour with Scott who was fantastic. We saw beautiful views of the city and learned about its rich history (we couldn’t stump Scott with any of our questions) and ended on Bondi Beach with amazing views and an incredible meal at Icebergs which was fantastic! Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to do the full beach walk. Our next tour was to the Blue Mountains and we had the fabulous Matt to take us around. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and we were tickled to pet the kangaroos and wallabies. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Katoomba and Matt took us for some lovely walks and waterfall views. The tour included a lovely lunch and we definitely used the entire time and were quite tired when we returned so I recommend planning an easy night. Melbourne: We also did two tours in Melbourne. The first was with Neal and he absolutely made our day. He drove us to Phillip’s Island which in my opinion was an absolute must to visit. We loved the stop for tea and biscuits when we arrived at the island and from there it was a whirlwind of stops and knowledge from Neal. We saw Koalas and made several stops to see beautiful views and take short walks. Neal took us down the back way to the Penguins which was a gorgeous drive. We saw the fabulous Penguin Parade from a lovely viewing platform and Neal gave us an early experience seeing a few penguins as we were walking out and they were getting ready to make their way to the ocean. Neal was also kind enough to take a side trip around the racetrack per my request as I am a huge MotoGP fan. Thank you Neal for a wonderful day! Another long day so plan and pack accordingly. I also recommend a heavier jacket for the evening. Adam was our guide the next day and we did a city tour which concluded with a stunning boat ride down the Yarra River (thank you Captain Fabio)! Adam was also wonderful and we learned a lot about the city. Adelaide: Our next stop was Adelaide so of course we had to have wine! We couldn’t say enough good things about our guide, Jane who picked the absolute perfect wineries for us. We especially enjoyed the first stop at Gumpara Winery. Jane was clearly well known and liked at all the wineries and again, catered the day to our wishes. Port Douglas: Our final two days of tours was at Port Douglas. Once again, our guide Rick was fabulous and juggled all our questions. He is especially knowledgeable about the Daintree where we did our first day. He showed us some beautiful beaches, views and amazing experiences. We loved the walk around the forest and lunch was amazing. Rich also took us to Hartley’s and made sure we got a private experience which was amazing! He really made sure to personalize the tour for us and showed us some unique and amazing things. We really can’t say enough wonderful things about this company and the experience we had!

Don't Miss This Tour - Awesome Experiences!
We visited the Daintree Rainforest which was absolutely amazing! Such incredible vegetation and wildlife. Our tour guide Rick was a wealth of knowledge - so much so that other tour guides were asking him questions! Clearly he enjoys what he does because his passion was evident. He knew the names of the trees, vines and wildlife and gave us insight into "bouncing rocks" and aboriginal culture and tribal markings. He brought us to a completely empty beach with the most amazing views, the tour buses went one way and we went another! Lunch at a wonderful restaurant was delicious and it was followed by homemade ice cream in the most amazing flavors from fruits grown on the property. I would highly recommend this tour - Rick was so great and we left with so much information and memories. We also went on a river tour of the Daintree searching for crocodiles and snakes. We saw a tree snake, various lizards, nests and several "baby' crocs. Captain Bill was awesome - knowledgable and hilarious!

A truly amazing way to spend the evening!
What a truly amazing way to spend the evening! We arrived by helicopter (Capt. Peter was awesome as were the staff of the tour company). We visited a koala conservation location and spotted many of these adorable creatures. Peter our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Lunch at a lovely Italian restaurant overlooking the bay was delicious! The Penguin Parade was truly memorable, to see these these adorable creatures enter the beach from the sea and waddle their way to their burrows was nothing short of amazing. Our terrific guide informed and educated us on their nightly ritual and explained the conservation efforts taken by the Australian government to protect these beautiful creatures.

Our private tour with Grant was amazing. We could not have asked for a better day! Everyone we encountered was friendly, and Grant's knowledge of the terrain and wildlife was fantastic. This tour was the best and would 100% recommend.

Excellent tour and intro to areas around Sydney Harbour and many areas beyond
Grant was a great guide! He was knowledgeable and sociable. He was also flexible, giving us options as we toured. We enjoyed the lunch at the Yacht Club. We saw and heard about many areas in Sydney. Would definitely recommend the tour and Grant!

Blue mountain and Sydney touring. We hired grant and his team to provide private transportation and touring
From the time that arrived in Sydney, grant and his team provided top notch service. Given the age difference or our children, this was no easy task….particularly considering the weather on our Sydney tour date. If you desire a knowledgeable guide, who flex’s with your interests, grant and his team are the perfect choice. After learning our interests, he gave us advice for our own walking tour. His advice was perfect, and we had a great time.

Amazing Tour to the Tip of Australia.
We traveled from Cairns to Cape York on an 8 Day 4WD small group tour operated by Australian Luxury Escapes!! What a ride. Fantastic from go to whoa. A very comfortable 5.6lt V8 Nissan Patrol which certainly helped going over the corrugations!! The tour was for 6 pax, thankfully we were 5 which meant only 1 pax had to sit in the “Dickie” seat. It would’ve been tough for 2 to share. We traveled to Cooktown after visiting the Daintree River and cruise, (unfortunately the Bloomfield Track was closed), then to Coen, Lockhart River, Weipa, Punsand Bay, and The Tip. We left our Tour Guide, Alan, at Seisia where we ferried to Thursday Island and Horn Island to fly back to Cairns. Alan was extremely knowledgeable which meant we learned a lot about the areas we visited. A good driver and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend.

I just returned from traveling to Australia from the US for the first time. Australia has just recently re-opened its borders to international travelers after almost 2 years. Australian Luxury Escapes was able to arrange (2) tours for me with very short notice and I had a great experience on both days! I spoke with one of the owners, Elise, on the phone prior to traveling and she was tremendously helpful in explaining their offerings and what the tours would entail as well as answering other questions about traveling to Australia which was so helpful!

I wanted to maximize my time in Sydney when I first arrived which I was able to do in the "Private Essential Sydney Tour". The tour guide was tremendously knowledgable about Sydney having grown up there and was able to accomplish all of the main sights in a half day tour. Doing the tour by vehicle + walking for certain parts allowed us to cover the whole city but also get a closer look at areas of interest. Both vehicles I traveled in felt brand new and were completely clean and comfortable. They offered bottled water and hand sanitizer for use during the tour and a great lunch was included in both tour prices. At the end of the tour, the guide gave me some tips on how I could spend the rest of my day which was great.

The second tour I did was the "Private Blue Mountains High Country Day Trip from Sydney" which was also amazing. After a few days in Sydney, it felt great to get out of the city and see more of the beautiful landscape and nature of the national parks region. The area is expansive and would be difficult to cover on your own, especially if you haven't been to the region before. I was able to do this tour with one of the owners, Grant, who has a great knowledge of the region, its history and which locations offer the best views and photo ops! Part of this tour included a trip to a wildlife center which was nice to be able to see animals unique to Australia that you're not going to find just being in Sydney. The center was really well maintained and the staff we encountered were all very friendly. This tour also included a great lunch at the "Boiler House Restaurant" which had great food and amazing views. We did a quick tour of the Hydro Majestic hotel right after lunch which is a true step back in time.

I highly recommend this company to anyone traveling to Australia. They have a wide range of unique and curated offerings and both tours made my time in Sydney very well spent! I will definitely use them again in the future and refer family and friends their way.

Had an amazing trip with Mel, such a great guide. We were picked up from our Hotel in a luxury vehicle, taken to Featherdale Wildlife Park to feed Kangaroos, see koalas and lots of other animals, birds and snakes. The Blue Mountains we went to afterwards were stunning, Mel knew all the best look out spots and secret places away from the crowds. The whole day was fabulous from beginning to end, including the tea/coffee and Lamingtons along with the delicious lunch. Mel was so friendly, knowledgeable and a great photographer for us too, she's a star! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sydney area.

We enjoyed this fun filled day with Grant - our lovely tour guide and driver. We set off for the Blue Mountains and Grant kept us fully entertained with his knowledge of this part of Australia and his good humor! We visited the Three Sisters Rock Formation and enjoyed commanding views from several lookouts - Grant also gave us some history of the bush fires that caused so much damage in this area and pointed out the re-growth of the trees and vegetation - Nature is truly miraculous! We then enjoyed High Tea at a lovely restaurant with an amazing view of the gorge, a truly unique experience. Our tour began with a visit to the Featherdale Zoo and we enjoyed interacting the the wombat, kangaroos, and the most colorful birds I have ever seen! Grant was so patient and truly made this tour about what WE wanted to do - He truly tailored it to us.

Our private tour to Featherdale and the Blue Mountains was an absolute highlight of our trip.

First of all, I was skeptical that Featherdale would be of interest to our group of 9 with 5 teens/young adults. The website makes it seem like a petting zoo. I was pleasantly surprised- we loved seeing all of the kangaroos, koalas, wombats, birds, croc etc! The kids said that they could have stayed at Featherdale all day ;-)

Our guide, Scott, was fantastic! He modified the schedule due to a later arrival in Sydney- making recommendations on what would be best for the group while ensuring we were back on time. He provided such amazing service - going above and beyond to help us move our luggage to the right hotel.

Scott also showed us the best spots for photos at various stops in the beautiful Blue Mountains!

I highly recommend Scott and Australian Luxury Escapes!

Hi Kimberley. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us in the Blue Mountains! Scott is an excellent guide and I am so pleased you enjoyed your time with him. Featherdale is also a great wildlife park that allows you to interact with so many Australian animals. We hope to see you back in Australia sometime soon. Safe travels, Grant
