      Amazing pottery class!
I had a great time making bowls and mugs! Marion was a fantastic teacher. She was patient and explained everything to me, as well as stepped me through everything. I was able to decide what I wanted to make and what colours to glaze with as well. I had such a fun afternoon and would definitely recommend her class to anyone! Thanks again!

      Lovely Pottery
We went to Bundeena with friends and walked the art trail which is on the first Sunday of the month. One of the stops was Mary’s Pottery. She runs classes to learn about making pottery and has a wonderful display in a showroom of her pieces of pottery. I really enjoyed her pit clay pots which had a wonderful colour.

      Great experience!
A picnic at royal national park followed by the afternoon here gave us a day that was very well spent! She is a great teacher and was perfect for my partner and I who were pretty useless potters. We are very keen to receive our pieces!

Smushing platter was a great intro to pottery!
Had an amazing time making the smushing platter this weekend. Marion (the teacher) was really knowledgable and friendly, and made the session really fun and relaxing. Would definitely encourage anyone wanting to have a fun weekend activity to try out pottery here- you also get to take home your piece once they fire/glaze it! I would recommend checking road closures if it looks like it will rain- flooding might mean adding another 15-20 minutes to your trip to Bundeena from Sydney. However, there's plenty of time for the pottery session, especially with the small group sizes (there was only 2 of us the day we visited).

      Pottery at Bundeena
After some consideration I decided to attempt the art of pottery with my wife for her birthday and I was pleasantly surprised how fun it was. It is definitely much harder than it looks but after some practice I was getting the hang of it. The class was small and intimate so it was easy to ask the teacher for help (which was much needed). My wife and I would happily go back for more lessons!
