- 94faithw0 contributionsExcellent trip in the Blue Mountains and additional stops along the way!We had a fabulous day on our private tour. 10 hours with Lloyd (of London) went by quickly! We saw so much, including the 3 Sisters, which kept disappearing, but Lloyd kept preserving, and the clouds lifted, and there it was. Fantastic! The walk through the forest with the dinosaurs followed by the Wildlife park made for a full day with lots of variety! Very cute, yummy lunch in Leura. Lloyd really made the trip so enjoyable. He's very knowledgeable and personable and had our group of 10 laughing a lot! Thanks to Llyod for making this a very special day for us all and a memorable birthday for Lew!Written January 13, 2025

This was a wonderful experience, with amazing views of the Blue Mountains, including the Three Sisters. The trip to Scenic World was well worth it, and we enjoyed seeing the indigenous animals at the zoo (but it was really hot by the time we arrived). Best of all was our tour guide, Lloyd, who was extremely knowledgeable, told engaging stories, and kept us all laughing throughout the tour. I loved the small group experience (just 20 people), and overall would highly recommend as a quintessential experience when visiting Sydney. Thanks to Lloyd and Diamond Tours!

What a day! Brilliant views of the Blue Mountains where you were guided through the jungle and rode on the cable car. The views from here of the waterfall was amazing. We then stopped for food at a deli in Glenbrook which was recommended by our phenomenal tour guide, Rodrigo. He really made this experience come to life by talking his time to get to know everyone and telling fascinating stories. He then led us to Syndney Zoo where we were to fed Kangaroo's and Emus. Optionally, we paid around €20 for the other 2 members of my family and I to take photos and a digital print with the koalas. The Staff at the Zoo were very friendly and knowledgeable. This was a brilliant day out and I would recommend anyone to do this tour.
Thank you Rod for an amazing tour, we really enjoyed every minute!! :)

Rod was a knowledgeable, fun and engaging tour guide, and his highest priority was maximizing the enjoyment of our experience and expertly managing our time to keep the pace reasonably relaxed and still get everything in. The tour bus was very comfortable and air conditioned. I found this tour and its stops to be the highlight of my trip to Australia.
The views in the Blue Mountains were amazing, thanks in part to the weather providing as perfect a day as one could hope for. The Australian animal section of the Sydney Zoo provided the opportunity to hand feed kangaroos and emus, and we paid the zoo a little extra for the coveted Koala photo experience. And the harbor ferry under the bridge and past the Opera House at the end of the tour is the perfect way to finish a fantastic day.
This tour is quite the day-long adventure, and it was worth every dollar we paid. For the travelers who want to get the most out of a day, this is a tour that I recommend. Thanks Rod, for helping to fulfill an adventure of a lifetime.

An outstanding Day Tour to the Blue Mountains with Lloyd, our driver and host! Lloyd was the quintessential tour guide - always professional, informative, patient, humorous, engaging and an award-worthy guide. His historical knowledge of the area enhanced our experience when stopping at Cahill’s Lookout, the Three Sisters and other viewpoints. He deftly escorted us through the attractions at Scenic World so we were able to avoid the crowds. While we were on our own for lunch in Leura, Lloyd recommended several local restaurants. We enjoyed a scrumptious quiche at “Freudian Slip”! After visiting Sidney Zoo where we interacted with kangaroos and koalas, we headed back to Sidney. We had a few minutes to spare to catch the ferry back to Circular Quay so Lloyd gave us a quick tour of Sidney Olympic Park. Incredible facilities. Our ferry trip along the Parrametta River to Sidney Harbour was such a peaceful ending to a perfect day! We just can’t say enough about Lloyd and the Tour!

What a fabulous, first class organised tour. Axel was a fantastic tour guide, driver, ticket collector, cafe finder and had a story for every occasion 😂👍. He was truly a star and looked after everyone very well Indeed. He was helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional at all times.
The tour included visiting the Blue Mountains, waterfalls, Scenic Railway, Cable Car, Sydney Zoo and a Ferry Trip back into Circular Quay in central Sydney. It was absolutely brilliant, and the views of the Blue Mountains were outstanding. A truly fabulously trip, well organised and extremely well executed by Axel (the master storyteller 👍) and well worth the cost
We would highly recommend this tour.

It was a whirlwind tour, but covered all the things that I would want to cover in a good sampling of this area. Rod adapted to the weather which made the viewings perfect, and we enjoyed the place that he took us to buy our lunch as well as enjoying the Australian area of the zoo. We spent an extra $20 to get our pictures taken with a Koala which was well worth it. He was funny and entertaining throughout the whole tour for the whole day.

We did the Blue Mountains tour with Axel, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Great stops on the itinerary and lots of opportunities to soak in the breathtaking scenery of the Blue Mountains.
Axel’s commentary was both fun and informative, striking the perfect balance between interesting facts and lighthearted humor. He made everyone feel welcome and created a friendly atmosphere throughout the day.
The tour was worth every penny – the pricing was absolutely fair for the high-quality experience, taking place in a small group of just under 20 people. Thank you!

Diamond Tours was absolutely fantastic and gave us an amazing experience on our Blue Mountain tour! Our guide, Lloyd (of London) was just wonderful in sharing information all along the way with joyful humor. He quickly developed the tour group into one happy family even though we were people from all walks of life and different places around the world. He arranged the itinerary to make sure we got to different site-seeing stops before the crowds arrived. My wife and I highly recommend Diamond Tours for the best experience possible!

Scotty is an awesome guide. He’s very knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects. He tailored the commentary to his guests. He knew each of us by name & what country we were from. I appreciated that he set specific meeting times so we would be ahead of the crowds. Scotty genuinely likes people & wants to make sure they are enjoying their experience. The trip was worth every penny & I highly recommend it if you want to visit the Blue Mountains. Most of all, Scotty treats everyone like family!

Lloyd was great and very informative of everything on the journey as well as other areas of Sydney and Australia.
Very flexible in the itinerary in order to make it the best experience possible as the weather didn’t start too great but we still got to see everything as he quickly shifted things around. Great day!

In some parts of the description it says we will visit the Featherdale Wildlif park and then other parts of the description it says we will visit the Sydney Zoo. I was curious, which one is the one we will actually visit?
Written February 26, 2024
I visited the Sydney Zoo, fed the kangeroos and had a photo take with a Koala who unfortunately was sleeping ! It was fun to see the animals but I would say it was a bit rushy. I could have spent another 30-40 min there.
