Upon purchasing this Merlin Pass we had to select a time to activate the first attraction (Sea Life Aquarium) but we were unsure if we could’ve made it on time.
Communication via messaging and phone were excellent as we had to amend it on the day.

After activation the Merlin Pass was valid for a month and visitation at each attraction was at our own lesuire, although the itinerary did state to pre-book time slots but this wasn’t mandatory when we arrived at the attractions.

We did all 4 attractions which 3 of them were all in one place at Darling Harbour, Sky Tower Eye was approximately a 10 minute walk from them and found in the Westfield Shopping Mall.

It was definitely worth purchasing this Merlin Pass as it saved us money on individual bookings for each attractions.

Second trip to Sydney and I decided to get the 4 attraction pass which included a trip to the aquarium.

Booking online meant I got the pass for $78 and I could just go to the entrance with my mobile (an e-ticket).

There was a number of people who queued up before the 10am opening. However the person scanning us through was very efficient and friendly.

The pathway through was nice and easy to navigate. Highlight for me were seeing the penguins and getting very close to big sharks.

There was a souvenir shop at the end along with a cafe.

Overall, it was a nice way to enjoy an hour. I didnt do the activities they offered but I can imagine that would increase your time there.

Hi DeanM8013 Thank you for taking the time to leave this great review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time here. Buying your tickets online from our website is an efficient way to enter our attractions. The layout of the attraction is a one-way path making it very easy to navigate through on your journey. The Penguins and Sharks are a fan favourite from all of our guests along with Pig the Dugong and the Sea Turtles! We hope to Sea you again soon!

We spent a full day at these four attractions. Our favorites were the aquarium and Madame Tussauds and we spent the longest time in the aquarium. The aquarium even has a fun ride through the penguin exhibit. Unfortunately at Madame Tussauds the automated cameras were not working. If you buy the full photo package you can get discounts at the other photo locations.

Sealife - well this was super amazing. We spend like a total of 2 hours on this attraction. This is the best out of all. Penguin island ride is free and i am glad that we took a u-turn and did not miss out on this. The wait in the long line was worth it. The virtual reality experience was awesome. Really enjoyed myself.

Madam Tussaud was also quite fun but i would have preferred coming here with my brunch of friends so we could have taken some awesome pictures.

Wild life - well honestly I was disappointed with this as not much wild life are in there. Fascinated to see only the koala and crocodile though.

Our 3 attraction third party voucher was easily upgraded to 4 attraction pass at a short spend of money. Unfortunately we were too tired to walk and running out of time to go to the eye tower. Thus saved this for another time in life...would be back soon.

Hi singhShivy Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a great review of your visit to SEA LIFE Sydney. Over the past couple of years we have put a lot of resources into our attraction. This includes the Penguin Expedition ride which allows you to experience just how cool our penguins like to live and get up close to our colony. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed this experience. Along with this is our most recent exhibit is our Day and Night on the Great Barrier Reef exhibit which is our largest exhibit here at SEA LIFE. Madame Tussaud's is a great place to hang out with your friends and get those photos with the celebrities that you all know and love! Wild Life Sydney Zoo is home to all Aussie Animals! Crowd favourites include the Koalas and the Crocodile, as well as Davey the Quokka. We hope to SEA you again soon!

I've been to many aquariums around the world. While the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium isn't the best, it certainly is up there. In terms of Australia, I think it out does any other aquarium, even Melbourne Sea Life (same company).

It's close to Madam Tussauds and The wild life park which makes it easy and affordable as tickets can be combined.

The Penguin exhibit isn't "WOW" in my opinion (I was eagerly awaiting this to open), however offers a great location to view penguins.

Definintely a must do / see if your in town regardless of age.

First of all the 3 attractions: Sea Life, the wax museum and the Wild Life zoo are all in the . The same building, so it's super convenient. The wax museum and the zoo shares the same entrance. The pass allows you go immediately walk in with just your pass print out. The aquarium is good with a sea cow, sharks, rays, jelly fish and touch starfish exhibition. The zoo is the best for close encounters of animals. Been to many zoos down under and this one is the best. You actually get to see the platypus, Tasmanian devils, and other nocturnal marsupials up close, and the emus walk around you. Really didn't want to see the wax museum, but I had a blast, it's mostly taking selfies, and a small bio of the wax lifelike characters, with emphasis on Australian celebrities. It's all located in the beautiful Darling Harbour which has a wide array of eateries and libations to choose from. Give yourself like 6 or 7 hours to see, shop and eat. Plenty transportation options available: ferries, light rail, taxi. A must! You can only start the tours on the assigned day but you can finish the package anytime afterwards. The Sydney Sky Tower is located closer to Hyde park in the CBD at the Westfield shopping mall, rather hard to find that starts on the 5th floor behind the huge food court. There is a 3D film shown first.

The views from the Tower were amazing. Go close to sunset so you can have the best of both worlds, daylight and night views of Sydney. The best part of the aquarium was the Sharks, a must see! The wild life zoo is ok, nothing compared to the Taronga Zoo, the wax museum can be seen in any country, nothing special.

Interesting and fun day out seeing underwater animals. Went with husband and 7.5 year old child, it is probably more geared towards younger preschool kids but still was plenty interesting for the older kids.

The attractions are what you would expect to see at an a aquarium with two "underwater" tunnels that you walk through with sea life swimming over you. There was loads of activity and the fish and other animals were beautiful.

Went on a bit of a quiet day earlier in the day (10:30) and there were little to no lines with not much congestion. Took about 1.5 hours on an easy pace. When we left around midday the line to get in was much longer and I would assume that the crowds would be much hectic than earlier in the day.

Overall a must do for locals and great for visitors as well. Did Madame Tussands right after the Aquarium with the Attraction pass and that was very fun! Nice way to spend a few hours in Darling Harbour.

We began our day at the aquarium, entry was simple and easy, staff were friendly. Throughout our journey throughout the attraction, ramps were not very accessible due to limited width. Once getting to the top of the never-ending ramps, the fire alarm system went off, after a few minutes we were told to stand by for further instructions, the alarm system went off for over 10 minutes and was quite disruptive to our visit and led to sensory overload. In the end, the alarm was turned off and we were told to continue about our day.

Onto Madame Tussaud’s, exciting but loud music ruined the experience. We understand the importance of showing off these celebrities great work, but noise levels took away from the experience, as it was way too loud and led to lots of discomfort for a variety of guests of all ages and abilities.

Lastly, we visited the Wildlife park, this was by far the best experience out of the 3! It was quite, COVID protocols were in place, compared to limited social distancing in the aquarium earlier that morning. Animals were happy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our exploration throughout this attraction.

Hi Drivere00, Thank you very much for your review – your feedback is incredibly important to us. We are truly sorry to read that your visit did not meet your expectations. Due to the age of the facility we have a number of ramps, rather than lifts through the attraction. I am sorry to hear about the fire alarm activation, I can't say the cause of the alarm without further information, however when we do have ana alarm activation we work as quickly as we can to determine the cause and ensure the safety of all occupants. Should you wish to discuss your feedback further, please contact our Customer Services Team via SLSA.DM@merlinentertainments.com.au with a copy of your original review. Thanks, The SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium team.

The aquarium was not as good as I expected, and is starting to age a bit. It's not quite up there with the standard of similar attractions overseas. Same goes for Sydney Tower. It's a great view, but little has changed up there in the last 25 years.

Madame Tussauds was better than expected. Wax figures sound a bit gimmicky to me, but I ended up having fun with it taking corny staged photos. Madame Tussauds turned out to be a good 1/2 hour of fun.

At Sea Life, social distancing practices were terrible, with no enforcement or emphasis on safety for guests. The hand sanitizer stank like kerosene, and half of them had run out and the staff didn't seem to care. Staff training with customer relations was generally poor, as the staff I spoke to were either apathetic or bordering on rude.

The online booking for multiple attractions is also dysfunctional, as I got a "Thank you for your booking" message on screen and an email confirmation, yet when I got there I found out my time slot bookings were incomplete.
