About the operator
- Family682200One of the best tour guides everCharlie was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! So knowledgeable. After taking the time to get to note us, he tailored the day exactly to what we wanted to see. We stopped in lots of smaller villages and lookouts, and saw more of Sydney and the Blue Mountains than we imagined. I’ll be recommending this tour to everyone who comes to Sydney.
- Jose V00Amazing Sydney and Blue MountainsCharlie is a wonderful tour guide. He connects with people in a fantastic way that makes you feel you are having a great day with a friend. Very knowledgeable and punctual. Highly recommend.
- fernandosM3225JK00Fantastic tripFantastic trip, specially crafted to fit our time and needs. Many thanks Scott. Wine and beer tasting combo.
- Excursion4061393323100True experience of the Blue Mountains and surrounding area with CharlesWe had an amazing tour with Charles driving to the Blue Mountains. He took us to spots that were away from the more typical spots for amazing views, drove us around the smaller towns, and had great stories to tell. We couldn’t have asked for a better time and sense of the beauty around us. He even dropped us off at the Olympic Ferry terminal at end of tour so we could take the ferry home in early evening - coming back into Sydney Harbor with the night lights was beautiful. Thank you Charles for a great time. Schaffs/Joyces/Forbes
- Hopstick00WonderfulI booked fairly last minute and everything was smooth sailing. Scott contacted me the night before to confirm pick up time and see if I had any pressing questions or requests. The vehicle for the day was very comfortable and the air con was much needed since it was extremely hot out. The provided water certainly came in handy. Scott certainly has eagle eyes, pointing out wildlife and even pulling over so we could watch a whale breaching while on the way to one of the parks. The views are stunning. With having gone on a Monday many businesses are closed but it never felt like I was missing out on anything. Lunch was delicious and the wines were great. No part of the drive was boring or uncomfortable. Scott is fun to chat with and knows a lot about the history of the area. More than enough stops if you need the toilet as well if that's something you need to think about. If I am back in Sydney, I will certainly be looking up another tour.
- Eric Y00A wonderful welcome! Our family enjoyed a great day with Scott showing us the highlights of beautiful Sydney. (Unfortunately, none of us want to leave and return home to the US now.) A true “local,” Scott was extremely knowledgeable and informative about everything we could think of. To our surprise, we bumped into him the next day at a water ferry terminal! If this is your first trip to Sydney, I would strongly encourage booking a tour with this outfit!
- CO11300Exceptional one-of-a-kind experienceMatt provided an exceptional one-of-a-kind experience! We are a family of four with a 17 yo and an 8 yo so it is usually pretty difficult to have a full-day that they both enjoy - but Matt delivered! We learned so much about the land, we had fun interacting with native animals, and we enjoyed sharing music on the drive home! Matt was fun and knowledgeable and took us off the beaten track to see a side of Australia we wouldn’t have otherwise encountered. Couldn’t rate this experience highly enough!
- EdNevis00Port Stephens and sand dunesAfter an excellent time with Scott last year (2022), we could not help and once again went with Scott on this tour. It was a long 2.5hrs ride out of Sydney city proper. We stopped for breakfast mid-point and continued our journey. The first thing we did when we arrived at Port Stephens was the quad bike ride on the sand dunes. What a time we senior folks (all of us in our 60s!) had. The ride was well managed and we had 4 guides tagging along the group of 6 of us. Joy overcame fear with a slight nudge from the guides and we rode the dunes in style! We also saw the spouts of a few whales go by in the distance. Lunch was at a place called Little Beach Boathouse by the seaside at Nelson's Bay. The weather was perfect and we saw a dolphin or two go by. Service at this restaurant was excellent. Thanks once again, Scott for never letting us down. Trips with you is money's worth.
- EdNevis00Great time at Southern Highlands with ScottGreat time at the Southern Highlands. As it was winter, it was cooler by 2 or 3 degrees with the temp at the city. The blast of wind greeted us at Bald's Hill. Oh!, what a view. We had breakfast at Audley Dance Hall at the Royal National Park. It was such a pleasant atmosphere. We also had lunch at Bendooley Estate and it was another memorable experience. We went with Scott when we were at Sydney last year (2022) and it was a no-brainer going again with him on this tour as well as the one to Port Stephens. Thanks, Scott for being a great and friendly guide. The 6 of us always enjoyed our comfortable ride in your Land Rover Discovery. We would never have seen or enjoyed the food at the places you took us to.
- 563yulil00A memorable day for us allWe gathered in Sydney to celebrate our 25th year of “friend-versary”. Myself from Perth & the other two flew in from Bali & Hong Kong. We are very impressed with Scott’s knowledge of history & experience of Blue Mountains areas. He introduced our overseas friends with the best Kangaroo pies, delicious food & fabulous wine. We even spotted Kangaroos in the wild who were soon hopped away when we shouted “we ate your cousins!”. We can’t thank Scott enough for taking us on tour on his birthday! Blue Mountains is a very magical place indeed & the secret route of Megalong Valley is just breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour guide for your Sydney’s sightseeing. Thank you Scott! Terima kasih.
- heathergI5752BA00Great day in SydneyWe had a great day on our tour of Sydney. Scott showed us great views from the harbor bridge, and we had a spectacular lunch at the Fish market. This tour was a great way to learn about the history of the city while seeing all of the sights. we particularly like that the tour was tailored to what we wanted to learn about. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends when they come to visit Sydney.
- anandam201500Great Experience for a familyYour Sydney Guide was one of the best finds for us in Sydney!! Our family of four had been looking for top-quality tours in Sydney, and we booked through Scott. Scott went out of his way to make the booking process smooth, as we had some confusion about international payments. We took two tours - the one to the Blue Mountains and the Cricket lover's tour. The Blue Mountains tour itself was very personalized and very detailed - we really felt they knew the blue mountains in very high detail. The effort put stood out for us - be it in spotting wild Kangaroos, going to an out-of-mainstream lunch spot, or helping us out with vegetarian food. Aside from covering the well-known attractions like the three sisters, we actually saw 26 wild Kangaroos and one wild Wallabee, not to mention many indigenous birds, on this tour!! The cricket lover's tour - which is found on their website - was the highlight for us on our Australia trip. It included a private tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground - just us and Peter - and the Bradman Museum at Bowral. While the locations themselves are amazing, Peter who accompanied us is a genuine cricket fan and knows both the sport and the locations in detail - this passion really made a difference for us. He also went the extra mile in covering the history of Sydney city itself, and found an amazing lunch spot with vegetarian options for us! Thanks for everything, folks!
- CAROLYN B00Days in Sydney AustraliaYour Sydney guide was a wonderful way to see the city of Sydney, Australia. Our tour guides, Charlie and Scott were absolutely wonderful. Please take this tour if you would like to. Have a good experience in Sydney.
- Claretorma90900Very fun we ❤️ Scotty 2Amazing, our family had so much fun! our guide (Scotty 2) was certainly the best part, very attentive, friendly, and informative. and let us run the show for a personalized experience! Highly recommend Scotty 2!!! :))))) :))))
- A8311YYstevem00Luxury Sydney Tours by ScottScott. He’s a people person with a truly caring perspective. His tour ran us through all the must see/mist do’s around the city. Even AFTER our tour Scott reached out via text to suggest great ideas! Scott’s a wonderful person and that’s evident right away. We spent 6 hours in his company and Bei g a lifelong resident makes him so knowledgeable about Sydney and its ins and outs. He’s helped get us set up for our week of exploring. Scott’s tours are primarily self performed, so you’re getting deluxe attention. Thanks Scott!!

We had a great private tour and experience with Scott at “Your Sydney Guide”. (Despite the rain ;) ) We were able to see all the main Sydney sights, as well as Bondi Beach and the eastern suburbs. There was time to take photos at different stops. Scott was a thorough tour guide, and he provided lots of information about Sydney and Australia. He was friendly, pleasant, and had a sense of humor! Excellent experience!

Scott was great! This is the 1st tour I booked with his company. Good decision as the group was very happy to see the City, got to see the must see areas of the city, from the Rocks, Harbor bridge and Opera view, Manly, Ferry, to Bondi. Good lunch choice and famous ice cream to end the day!.
Highly recommend tour to see the city in a day.

I had an AMAZING day in the city with Charlie at Your Sydney Guide. If you are seeking an authentic experience with the best in the business, look no further. I was traveling from the US and everything from arranging the booking to the depth of knowledge from the guide was spectacular.

Charlie is friendly, personal, and accommodating. He met us after our cruise and picked us up at the overseas terminal. We even drop off our bags at the hotel before we started our tour (A tip that I read from one of the comment reviews). He is knowledgeable and amazed how the city changed over the years. He showed us the beaches and lookout points where the locals go. For lunch, he suggested the fish market. The seafood was excellent. He took me to places I had not seen before.

We booked a full day tour with Scott last year. We didn’t realize how much we would have seen by the time that our tour came. Scott was put to the test when we kept saying...we have been there, done that. So...off we went off the beaten path and had a great day seeing the fish market, Anzac Memorial, St. Mary’s Cathedral and lunch at Bondi Beach after a visit to Claudio’s fish market. Scott is very professional and still down to earth and fun. We had a great day and he even stopped for us to buy wine.

Charlie was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. He was also extremely flexible with sights as we had been to Sydney before. We really appreciated his accomodating us with taking pictures and snacks. Scott also worked out a private harbor cruise with Elodie at the end of our day and she was delightful!

Scott will give you an overview of the city but also tailor the day to suit your taste as you go along and he learns what you like. He gives a great tour and his love for Sydney and Australia overall really comes through as he recommends what to do in your remaining time here. I'm sure everyone of his guides are great as well based on how he spoke of them on our tour. I highly recommend him and his company.

I organize and escort all-inclusive tours for adults as a hobby, via an online travel interest group. My group of 21 (including me), ranging in age from 37 to almost 80, mostly women, some, mobility-impaired, descended upon Scott like a cyclone on New Year’s Eve, eve 2022.
How Scott managed to juggle the variety of needs, dietary requirements, preferences and interests was an absolute study in hospitality. During a post-pandemic time practically defined by poor service, Tour Sydney Guide was the notable exception. Head and shoulders above the rest, he became the absolute personification of Sydney for the group.
Scott’s quick, dry wit was an unqualified hit with the ladies. He kept a steady flow of one-line zingers and observations about ordinary Sydney life that kept us in stitches. We marveled at his “hip” cultural savvy and respected the ease with which he conversed with (& charmed!) all ages and genders in our group. He was patient and took tons of photos for us. He was astute, attentive and able to incorporate all requests. He was downright FUNNY.
Advice to future Sydney travelers: to avoid anticlimactic let-down and/or disappointment, book Scott for your final or capstone Sydney-area tour - OR - just book him for all tours while in town. His Aussie authenticity, deep knowledge, boundless energy and Downunder charm won’t disappoint.
The group is now leaving New Zealand and headed to the final leg of our tour in Fiji. While subsequent guides have been adequate or better, sadly all are now judged by the group’s “Scott Standard.” Thus far, none have attained or surpassed it. I have now used at least four other Sydney Guides for various tours. I’d recommend Scott over any.
Thank you Scott, for delighting my clients (& me!).
