We did the high tea cruise last Saturday and I have to say it was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We paid the extra $10pp to secure a window seat which was definitely worth it as the whole point of doing the cruise is to get the views!
As we boarded we were given a glass of rose fizz although it was really only a half glass at best which was rather disappointing and seems quite stingy. The afternoon tea itself was pretty nice, I have had better however this is more about the whole experience and I have to say it was a lovely experience in stunning surroundings and the price was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't done it before.

Lovely weather for a day on the harbour. Well organised and arrived on time.
Staff friendly.
Bubbly was very sweet and cheap tasting.
The high tea was disappointing. One very small sandwich, belini wet and prawn dry. Small cup cake was very dry, chocolate on the strawberries tasted cheap.
Other things ok, but could be made into something exceptional that would make you want to do it again.
Would also be good too offer refills of hot water for tea throughout the time.
Sadly wouldn't recommended the high tea, there are other places out there that are better.

The food was marginal and I could not hear the commentary. I was able to see the Sydney Opera house from the water and the Sydney Harbor Bridge as well as many beautiful sail boats.

I am a solo traveler and as so, I book a lot of things alone. It was my last day in Sydney as well as my birthday so I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate. However, I felt judged for doing this cruise alone. The staff didnt bother to help me once they found out I was alone; I was ignored and served last and they kept asking me: "you're alone?" I dont understand why that would be a problem. Also, I paid for the mimosas and I was just given a bottle of sparkling wine instead (if i knew they were giving me a whole bottle i wouldnt have done that, but the advertisement said it was a bottomless mimosa option). I wasnt even given the choice of the sparkling wine, which was a sweet pink one, not a mimosa. Luckily, I befriended a few australian ladies and hung out with them, but if you are a solo person I highly recommend to avoid this experience. Also, I think the company should take into account Sydney is a popular destination and there may be people who want to partake in this experience and it shouldnt be treated as unusual.

Did not give me the refund
It is a reasonable request given I was going to be the only passenger onboard

This was a lovely afternoon on the boat; cruising around sydney harbour on a sunny afternoon was just perfect. The food was very good as was the tea. Staff very friendly and helpful. You get a complimentary glass of pink sparkling wine and then you pay extra after that, which is fair enough, you don't get a bottle of sparkling wine in the price as illustrated by the advertising photo.
There was a photographer on board ready to take your photo and then you choose whether to purchase or not? I hate that; I feel it's just another way to make more money and the fact that our lovely high tea was interrupted by this just annoyed me.

Friends
Went with my Mum for this high tea cruise and we were both pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. A glass of bubbly as you come in, the view is lovely as you cruise around the harbour, very quiet in the cabin as well. The food was simple but tasty, a few warm pastries, sandwiches and sweets. Just enough to fill you up until dinner. I wouldn’t recommend having a big lunch prior as you may be a bit too full before the cruise. Overall very much enjoyed the cruise and would recommend to friends.

Extremely lovely afternoon, food was wonderful & plenty of it, plenty of tea choices & sparkling wine very nice, boat ride was really good & Sydney turned on the weather. The only thing I would say is presentation of table & food was lovely but there is non of the flowers etc that are in the picture, very happy though.
