        Truly dreadful...700+ people herded on to ship for VIVID Sydney. Questionable safety brief then zero commentary for the cruise...ie where to view drone show. Epic fail! Noted I have also been blocked from social media. Suggest avoid Captain Cook

        Fantastic Cruise and value for money
        Really hospitable cruise we had 2 children in a pram (toddler and baby) and the staff accommodated us to be able to use pram on boat tour. Food and service was excellent had the 2 course deluxe.

        Family Day at the Zoo
        Great Zoo for big and little kids to enjoy. We were a group of 4 adults and we all enjoyed the ferry ride and zoo very much. We arrived at 9:30am and the first return ferry back with this pkg wasn’t until 1:10pm. We were all done by 11:30am so we chose to purchase a separate ferry ticket back.

        Lack of transparency and integrity
        Booked a vivid lights harbour cruise Text confirmed cruise and departure wharf, cruise went out. No announcements, no updates of any concerns. As the ending time for the cruise was nearing, without any vivid lights on, the captain announced there were no lights and it was out of their control. No apology, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience or situation just a referral to the vivid website. Yes the lights may have been out of their control but the lack of integrity in managing the situation was astounding. The situation was clearly known before the announcement (substantial time elapsed since the lights were meant to have started). There was a clear decision to not be transparent about the situation. Even more disappointingly the next cruise was lined up on us disembarking, at which time the cruise provider knew there were no lights. The next group were not told and were standing in the rain awaiting the boat to go see non-existent lights. No refund offer as the cruise was technically completed. No communication at all so that people could make a decision on what was best in their interest (a dark night cruise in the rain with an anticipating preschool age kid was not something we would’ve wasted our time with, we would’ve happily just stayed and had dinner elsewhere with a much more positive experience for the transparency). There was not even an acknowledgement of the fact we had booked a vivid cruise without there being any vivid to see, with crew announcing ‘we hope you enjoyed your cruise’. Yes the Situation couldn’t be helped but the way it was managed was not a good representation of company brand or integrity. Definitely would not book with them again.

        Amazing Vivid Sydney Penfolds Dinner Cruise
        We booked this dinner cruise due to the Penfolds pairings and it did not disappoint. We had hearty pours of lovely wine with each course and our wait staff was quick with refills any time glasses were empty, to include the higher end wines such as the St Henri served with our steak (filet mignon) course. All of the food was quite good as well and the portions were large enough that we felt full but not so large that we wasted a lot of food. We were upgraded from the normal boat to the Jackson, which had an elegant feel, and the live music and magical lights of Sydney Harbour during Vivid added to the lovely ambiance. All in all an outstanding evening for a quite reasonable price given the quality and quantity of all that was included.

        Fab cocktail cruise!
        It was an excellent cruise and very well organised. The platter of cheese and crackers was great, but the cocktails were only average. We were on the ground floor and managed to get a window seat with fantastic views, it did get dark very quickly - so the trip back was just twinkly lights, but we still managed to catch all the sights.

        FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE
        We did the Lunch time Sydney Harbor Cruise. It was excellent, our 3 course lunch was delicious, fresh & beautifully presented. Drinks are well priced. Wait staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommended when in Sydney.

        Decent exposure to the harbor
        Fairly inexpensive way to get a taste of Sydney harbor. More of a transport than sightseeing ad the boat moves fairly fast and you must be ready for the iconic views.

        Beautiful Zoo!
        LOVED the zoo. I was so happy to see the koalas. And the views from the zoo are incredible. Great food options, and close to the beach, if you want to hit up both on one trip. The ferry ride was great - on time, no problems at all. Would love to go back!

        A lovely way to see Sydney Harbour and all that it has to offer. Hop on and off as many times as you like or stay as long as you like. The views of the city, opera House and Harbour Bridge are just amazing from the water. Highly recommend.

        Great zoo and harbour cruise
        We had a great time on this tour. It was easy to book and find the harbour meeting spot. The zoo was a lot of fun! Loved going into the kangaroo and wallaby enclosure and being so up close with them. The food at the zoo was really good and many healthy choices. The boat cruise to and from the zoo was enjoyable too and we were able to get great pictures of the Opera House. I would definitely recommend this tour

        The cruise was great and it was a good way to see all around Sydney Harbour. We paid extra for the wine / cheese & meat board and it was very good value. I would definitely recommend.

      The 2 hour cruise was 10 minutes late leaving and more than 15 minutes early returning, so customers were ripped off almost 25% on cruising paid for and not provided.

      Someone needs to complain to Fair Trading about this rip off. The male toilets had manky floors either from leaky waste pipes or from customers peeing all over the floor, They knew about it as the door was jammed open with a slippery floor warning sign. Couldnt wait to get out of there.

      Seating is arranged by them in some arbitrary way, not first come best dressed, so you run the risk of getting put in the middle of the floorplan where the views arent so good when there are people standing around.

      The food portions are modest, and no coffee or tea or anything other than the meal is included. You get to eat what they tell you to eqt, there is no choice and I have never had that before.

      The booking process was a nightmare, had to ring 4 times before someone did something in the background and manually emailed the details.

      Sorry I didnt do the 4 hour Saturday latin cruise with another company, at the same price.

      Not recommending this one to anyone.

      Air conditioning didn’t work and the staff sugar coated it saying it just “went down” and did not work for the two hour cruise. The entertainment staff had to fan themselves to cool down. We asked for our meals to be served on the top deck which seemed to be all too hard. It was so damn hot in the restaurant we and others had no choice but to eat up there. The steak was ordered medium and it came out scorched like a rubber thong. Very very disappointing not to mention exorbitant drink prices. Sorry Captain Cook Cruises…… it’s a fail. Won’t be back

      This dinner cruise is a tourist trap. There is little value for your money. Don't pay the additional price to get a window table. It is worthless. All tables have a clear view of the windows. But the windows are covered with a film of dirt. People gulp down their bland food and rush to the deck to take pictures. Now that I know what I know, I would simply take the city ferry (yellow and green ships) to Watsons Bay and Darling Harbour. With the rest of the money, I would have a trip to Manly and enjoy a meal on the beach. And their would probably be money left over. Stay away from that tourist trap.

      We did the harbor dinner cruise, and if all you’re looking for is a good view of the opera house and to go under the harbor bridge, this is a great option. It feels very much like you are just another tourist on a boat with a lot of them. The dinner was good and staff were efficient but not engaging. The dining room feels run down. Immediately after dinner, head upstairs to the top and watch the sights to make this trip more pleasant.

      A nice cruise, but Sundays and Thursdays the cruise is over by 715 when u return to the dock, so hard to call it a Starlight cruise. Meal servings were very small, the steak was very over cooked and inedible. Live music from Felicity was enjoyable and the staff were attentive.

      Dear Brian Thank you for your feedback and we are very surprised and saddened the beef was overcooked. We are normally well know for an outstanding steak experience! In regards to the timings, unfortunately visitors to our beautiful harbour city remain low and demand for dinners after 7.00pm really are limited to Friday and Saturday nights. We hope that will change as people begin travelling more. Our earlier Sunset Dinner from 5pm however is very popular and runs 4 nights a week.       Disappointed! Cruise is scheduled for 2 to 3 hours, we were all finished and back to the wharf in 1 and 3/4 hours..... First 2 courses were very rushed and served even before we set sail. 3rd was soon after and then we were forgotten about, as the rest of the boat was loaded at Circular Quay…. Desert finally came, but it was a wait.
      Staff were good but just overwhelmed by the number of people to serve in the amount of time. Empty bottles/ glasses and dirty plates were left on out table for the whole cruise.
      Food was great and a high point, just a very rushed and short trip. I am sure there would be better dinner cruises out there….

      Went on the brilliance dinner cruise with my partner last night (Friday 13th). We enjoyed lovely cocktails, a delicious dinner and stunning views for our romantic date night. Thank you to the lovely staff. We had lovely waiters and had a funny gentleman who made us feel very comfortable and accommodated.(If you’re reading this - we loved that window seat!)

      The boat was lovely and the food was great, staff very helpful.
      But it was all so rushed, only 2 hours from start to finish!!
      You were barely seated when your starter arrived. No time to savor the food and relax with your drinks.
      A pity because this spoiled an otherwise lovely evening.

      The ship was Amazing. Well kept and well maintained. The view was phenomenal especially with the sunset. All these would not have been fantastic if not for the professional and personalized service of Prasib. We felt well taken care of because of his hospitality, congeniality, and happy disposition.
