      Top e-bike tour
Very good service by Miki/Wild-In-Dolomiti, who kindly allowed us to choose the start time (from 4pm, till sunset), after our long drive to reach Selva di Cadore. We had an awesome ebike tour in the mountains around Rocca Pietore. The e-bikes were state of the art, well maintained and easy to handle. The guide was nice, very helpful and competent. The choice of e-bike (instead of muscular ones) was essential to increase the fun, allowing us to have a more relaxed and enjoyable run, even with nearly 500mt uphill. Amazing views, a relaxing break with cold beers and very friendly service in Malga Laste, pity we didn’t have time to try also their cheeses, hope there will be a next time soon. Then an exciting downhill run, often delighted by stunning view of the “enrosadira” (reddish alpenglow at sunset) of the rocky peaks around us. Coming back to the Dolomites, we’ll definitely return to Wild-In-Dolomiti for another tour, most likely a longer one then.

How to get in love with Dolomites
Since the first contacts with Miki of Wild-In-Dolomiti, we enjoyed a warm, professional and very thorough assistance and service; what followed was all as advertised and even more: we really enjoyed! Start in a sunny afternoon at 1630, with a comfortable bus ride (from Santa Fosca) to an overly crowed passo Giau, where many cars, motorbikes and people were almost ruining the pleasure of being already in one of the most spectacular landscape in the Dolomites. So, good that our guide was quickly leading us to the hiking trail, soon far from those noises and into the natural environment we were so eager to dive into. Even if in the peak touristic season for this area (8th of Aug), less people along the trail than expected, however for the first hours there were often other people in sight. This anyway was not affecting the wonder of those landscapes, ever changing with different angles, altitudes and lights of a beautiful late afternoon and getting even more stunning with a long sunset painting those breathtaking rocky peaks with several magnificent shades: amazing ! Our guide was enriching the experience with descriptions of fauna, geological origin and some historical notes, especially regarding the famous Mesolithic archeological findings..... pity it was all in Italian, anyway there was always someone ready to help with simple translation in English. Wild-in-Dolomiti's guide, a local very professional mountain hiking guide (but certified also for biking and river riding) was kind in taking care of the less experts, with a very good pacing, not too slow, nevertheless allowing us to take lots of pictures, have drink/rest and enjoy the several top spots. After almost 4h, right when light was fading, we arrived at a nice cabin in the woods with an outside fire already on and a promising barbecue grill on it: sitting around the fire, some starters with refreshing cold beers soon followed by a great BBQ, enjoyed either under a sky full of stars or more comfortably sitting in the cabin. After the meal we walked for an additional hour in the dark back to town, it was fun to wear a head light walking through the trees and saying good night to a group of resting cows. In general, trail good also for less experienced hikers, safety was never an issue thanks also to the guide's carefulness. It has been definitely a very rich experience, one that we will never forget, highly recommended!
