          Excellent but harrowing
We were collected on time from our hotel. I paid an additional £10 per person for a lunch box which was great and I’m glad I did it. The trip was excellent even though it was very harrowing. I would certainly recommend this trip. The whole trip lasted from 7.15 am to 2pm when we were dropped back.

A salutary experience of history. Without commercial pazzazz
Suitably respectful and informative guided tour of Auschwitz and Bircenau. The guide held forth with inclusiveness, not favouring one percecuted group over another, addressing questions that arose with sincere consideration and tact. She was undoubtedly the making of the experience. We had been travelling through Europe by train for five weeks before getting here so had learned what to expect. This in no way spoilt the experience and I felt pleased not to be shocked, my expectations and thoughts endorsed and consolidated. To arrive at the gate of death at the end of the line brings life to the many monumented steam locos, museums, experiences, images and histories.

          Easy and organised transport
We'll organised transport to Auschwitz. Communication was excellent both in organising the pickup location and during the pick up process. The ease of having the guided tour organised was appreciated.

          Highly recommend
We had a friendly driver called Lucas. We were picked up by our hotel in the morning. Lucas and his coworkers made sure we had a good trip. They contacted us the day before to schedule the pick-up. We bought a lunch box from them, it included a lot of food and water. Highly recommend using this company if you want to visit Auschwitz!

A sad visit to recall terrible times
Situated about 1 hour drive from Kracow it is set in pretty countryside. The red brick buildings were originally used in the 1st World War for Polish soldiers then in the 2nd World War they imprisoned thousands of people. The guide showed us some gruesome places where people died. Inside were remains of shoes, suitcases etc and even the gas chambers and torture block are still there. The guide also had a lot of knowledge. Shop, cafe, Wcs available. but pre book the tour.

          Auschwitz and Birkenau
The tour was well organised. We were picked up from our hotel at the time agreed. This was confirmed the day before. We were taken to the meeting point and were then with our English speaking guide for the whole tour. Very sobering and emotional experience but that was to be expected. Good value. My only wish was for Birkenau the guide would have spoken louder. Not a problem at Auschwitz as we had earphones.

Thought provoking. Astounding the numbers who died.
Always wanted to visit both of these camps...they did not disappoint. The guide was fabulous she was full of knowledge...she had grown up in the village nearby and her grandfather had gone to Birkenau to help rescue and care for the few survivors. I didn't find it a harrowing experience but totally mind-blowing...the sheer numbers of people that lost their lives was unbelievable. And the size of the camps...unreal. As a research nurse it was humbling as this atrocity led to the foundations of the modern informed consent process and Good clinical practice.....we must never forget them.

          Happy to have been
Experience was amazing and transport there was good felt like the tour guide rushed through birkenau a bit and didn’t give enough time to read information boards and properly take in the horrors that happened here and as someone who has studied the holocaust for nearly a decade I felt like a lot of information was left out but so pleased to finally have been to Auschwitz I believe it’s something everyone needs to experience

Excellent experience never to be forgotten
I'd highly recommend booking with company, value for money, and excellent communications. The pick-up driver was very kind and helpful throughout the day of the visit. Emotional but an experience never to forget.

          Must-have
The tour was such a lifetime experience. Everyone must visit this place! Like it should be mandatory in schools. The evidence from the history is remarkable. I am glad this place is preserved. The tour guide was really informative. Make sure you have good coats because it is freeeeeezingggg and windy

          Auschwitz - Birkenau
Could not have been a better experience. Our driver confirmed our pickup location and time the day before our trip. We didn’t have to worry about a thing from the minute we stepped in his vehicle. Transportation, entry, guides…all taken care of by our driver. Would highly recommend this tour/trip.

          Auschwitz-Birkenau visit
A sombering visit, but well worth doing. I took the train from Krakow (1 hour ish), and then caught a bus to the museum (10 mins). You can then buy a ticket - I decided to go without a tour guide, and took the shuttle bus to the concentration camp itself (free bus). It’s a big site, with no shelter, so do go prepared if it’s a hot and sunny day like it was in June. I did join one of the guides as she took us round, so learned some of the key facts and history of the atrocities carried out here 🙏🏻 I wasn’t part of a day trip tour, and to be honest liked the flexibility of travelling myself and it was easy enough to do this (in case like me, you’re not a fan of the organised trips.

          Excellent tour and tour company
This was an excellent tour. Our driver and host, Igor, was fantastic. He communicated with us very well such as confirming in advance our pickup time, to have photo ID, etc. He arrived on time. Great personality. He speaks perfect English too which was helpful. The tour guide in the camps was also fantastic. Unfortunately I do not recall her name. She explained everything really well adding much more depth and knowledge of what I already knew, kept up a good pace, and asked for any questions throughout. This is a very good company. And needless to say, everyone should see Auschwitz and Birkenau to spread the knowledge so that this never happens again.

          Can’t believe this could happen
It’s very difficult to say that you enjoyed a tour but it’s a must see place to understand what the Nazi did to human beings was so upsetting to see

Great trip - lasts about 3/4 hours and omg! A lot of walking & 800 steps! There’s a lift to get back to street level.
It’s an amazing thing to see, but gets very busy so try & go out of season & book before you go. Best to get guided tour as so much to learn & hear about. Also very warm underground, so no coats are needed.
Not that interesting for young children.

Good tour company, reliable with excellent communication. Our guide was particularly good, a history teacher working as a guide as a second job. The salt mines are a pleasant excursion, and the underground museum at the end of the tour was for us the best bit. We were a bit shell-shocked from visiting Auschwitz the day before, you might want to do this tour first.

Don’t book. With Viator this company sold me a tour on a day it was closed Easter Sunday
I rang to sort out without knowing it was a premium number from the uk and got landed with a £300 phone bill
They cancelled 3 tours that weekend for us

Concept sounds enchanting but there really is not that much to see other than a few hand carved rooms (which were excellent) but a lot of walking and waiting for the group ahead of us all the time. Maybe if you go early in the day it would be more enjoyable. Be prepared to walk for about 15 minutes at the end of the tour to the elevators back up to ground and then another 10 mins to get back to the starting point to get to your vehicle.
