About the operator

- axelhZ57NI0 contributionsTourist Trap. Avoid! My girlfried and I were really looking forward to this trip. Mostly because of Chichén Itzá. Unfortunately we spent most of the time at Tourist traps where everybody just wanted to sell you something. Jimmy, one of our guides talked half an hour about himself, in a pace that it was obvious he said it a thousend times before with the exact same words. He even talked half of our bus into buying a Mayan Calendar for 30 USD or 500 pesos each. The Cenote was nice, but there are hundreds if not thousends of them, so you do not need it on a Chichen Itza tour in my opinion. Victor, our other guide was okay. Though we both have had way better tour guides on other trips. Jesus showed us around in Chichén Itzá and although it was a bit chaotic he did quite a good job for the little time we had there. The „buffet“ was very very bad. It actually was the worst food in three weeks of Mexiko. If you are interested in chichen itza, go on your own.Written December 11, 2024
- B5320SSsidneys0 contributionsLong but informative day tourMy boyfriend and I booked this tour for our vacation in Tulum to see Chichen Itza and more of Mexico. The pick up for the tour was outside a crowded supermarket, where we had trouble finding the guide, but ultimately were able to find him (phew). Our guide had a great attitude and was very informative, entertaining, and obviously took pride in his country. This made the tour feel special. We also appreciated that we went to Chichen Itza as the last stop, so crowds were very manageable and it was a pleasant experience of the site. A minor complaint is the limited time in Valladolid and copious amount of time in the local Mayan gift shop. I wish we distributed the time more evenly, especially when it was clear that the majority of the tour did not want to shop at the local artisanal market (probably due to the high prices). I would note is that there is a $26 USD pp fee for conservation and required life vests at the cenote that they collect before the tour in person, so bring cash. I still think the tour is a great deal for all you get to do in one day! It ended up lasting 12 hours with great stops and you avoid the lines and separate entrance fee of Chichen Itza.Written November 17, 2024
- helmut T0 contributionsGreat value for moneyExcellent tour guide David , gave us lots of interesting background information about maya culture , etc. first stop Cenote was great, very scenic, Chichen itza very impressive Valladolid is a very nice town but time (30 minutes ) was too short Overall Phantastin experienceWritten November 17, 2024
- J366HPbrucet0 contributionsSuper guide, a little awkward down time. Our tour guide, Roberto, was excellent, smart, passionate and down-to-earth. The only drawback to the trip was that too much time was spent at the rock shop, which had no accommodations for those of us who weren't interested in buying rocks and wanted to stay out of the sun and away from the burning incense smoke.Written November 11, 2024
- T3294SSsergiom0 contributionsWorst experience.Worst experience. Broke a molar with a pebble in one of the dishes at Tropical Restaurant. Informed server/manager right away and after consulting with my dentist, I informed management about it and filed a claim. Which they denied because of “inconsistencies” about my story. They claimed that restaurant staff offered me dental assistance and I refused it, which is a complete lie.Written October 24, 2024
- Y1002TEmichaelc0 contributionsThe advertising for this tour is misleading. The advertising is misleading. They offer a hotel pick-up service and once you pay for the tour, they send you instructions and meet you at Coco Bongo before 7 in the morning. They then make you walk to the station where the buses leave from 12th Street (Coco Bongo) to 38th Street and the bus doesn't leave until 9 in the morning. They would be more honest if they met you directly at the station.Written September 18, 2024

- Millie K0 contributionsGreat!Absolutely fantastic! Jaime, Victor and Luna were all fantastic - so entertaining and knowledgable! Time at the cenote felt a little rushed but apart from that really enjoyed! Is a long day so remember to bring lots of water and shade!Written August 1, 2024
- sylviasW1923YM0 contributionsClub Med Cancun Excursion to Isla MujeresWe took the excursion from Club Med. Adrien, Alberto and crew on Color de Caribe were knowledgeable, well organized, professional and personable. Adrien gave the tour in French and English. I was interested in sea turtles, so one of the assistants stood with me and helped me find them. The crew served a tasty but small ceviche snack, provided an open bar, and anchored so we had some swimming time at a beautiful beach.Written July 24, 2024
- F650LBbrianl0 contributionsJust drive yourselfTrip was not what we signed up for. We had booked the premier experience, but the “included drinks and food” did not live up to expectations. It was an overall disappointment. They also are asking for more money every step of the way. You’re better off renting a car and transporting yourself.Written July 3, 2024
- nadiarahmansf0 contributionsA Once in a Lifetime Experience - Highly Recommend! This tour was a great value and I really enjoyed it. Braulio and Roberto were our guides and they were both friendly, knowledgeable, and had great energy. I feel like I got exactly what I wanted and a diversity of experiences: shopping, Chichen Itza, the cenote, and Vallodolid. A nice lunch is also included. There is a lot of selling from local shopkeepers (not the guides) on the way to and at Chichen Itza but that should be expected and I’d encourage people to support the descendants of the Maya and their local economy by purchasing some souvenirs. Tip well!!!Written June 12, 2024
- Briselda G0 contributionsSAVE YOUR MONEYThe staff on the boat had good Customer service, the guy who takes photos really knows how to pose you for great pictures but wants to change over $125 for 5-10 pics. But other than that it’s nothing special. Id say take a ferry instead and save your money. There’s no “open bar”. They don’t serve you drinks until everyone is done snorkeling which is like 1 hr in, even if you choose not to go snorkeling and even then the drinks are so limited, they didn’t serve the basic, like mango margaritas. Same thing when you arrive to beach club. There’s a “buffet” that’s very limited and the food is not good, we got up and left because of the low quality of food, then the bar served us limited variety of drinks. My husband asked for a Tecate and I asked for a mango margarita and they wanted to charge us for both. Ridiculous. They said only one kind of beer and iced limon margaritas were included. It’s ridiculous the amount of money you pay and the quality of what you get. Would not recommend.Written April 23, 2024
