    Amazing Mexican Experience
We booked through Moon Palace and it was fantastic. Van took us to the nature preserve and then a rio secreto can took us back at the end of the day. When you get there you get divided up and take to the cave where there are free lockers for you to put backpacks or change of clothes. They have wetsuits and I encourage you use them. Afterwards there is a great lunch buffet.

    Best Experience Ever!
My family and I booked the Wild tour and were quickly surprised to find out we received a personal tour with an amazing tour guide and photographer. The tour consisted of a mountain bike ride, hiking, and a tour within the crystal caves which required some swimming. The tour guides name was Esmeralda and our photographer was Carlos; we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better duo! Both were extremely patient and kind while conducting the tour. Esmeralda explained the formation of the caves with great detail and provided a once in a lifetime experience! Carlos took amazing photos during our experience and I’m so grateful he captured this amazing experience! Overall this is a tour you do not want to miss!

No More Climbing Nohoch Mul Pyramid
Recently, we returned to the Nohoch Mul Pyramid with some family members intending to share a memorable experience of climbing a pyramid. Having written about this experience previously on Trip Advisor, I felt I should update a review for what is currently going on. This pyramid is the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán peninsula and lies within a jungle in Coba. It is worth mentioning that there are a number of structures here and excavation is ongoing. As you enter the park, there is the opportunity to engage a guide of the ruins. If this is a first visit, I would highly recommend a guide as there are not many signs that explain the structures one is viewing. It is around 2 miles each way (down and back) so that is something to be prepared for. However, one can rent a bicycle, or a bicycle taxi which has a driver that will transport two people to the pyramid and then back later on. At the pyramid there is a place where one can buy drinks in case you run short and need hydration as even in December it is quiet humid in the jungle even with the shade and cover from the plants. We did not expect that the pyramid is not closed to anyone climbing it any longer. No longer is there a large rope that used to run from the top to the bottom of the stairs and the pyramid is roped off to keep visitors off the pyramid. DISAPPOINTING! I guess this is an attempt to preserve the ruins for future generations, but I definitely miss the opportunity to climb a pyramid, and I miss the fabulous views from the top.

    Cave tour with kids
We drove ourselves and even though it was Thanksgiving week and Cancun was super busy, in the cave it felt like we were alone. My little one insisted on a larger wetsuit because she was uncomfortable and she was freezing inside. Make sure you get your kids tight-fitting wetsuits even if they complain because they don't work when they're loose. Other than that a beautiful experience all around and our tour guide was awesome. You cannot bring your own camera and the professional photos they provide are a bit pricey but worth it.

Great way to spend a few hours
Great location and great guide. No glitz here just very natural. The caves are gorgeous but there are lots of steps to get in and out and not for the claustrophobic in one area. But totally worth it.

Bring good shoes for all them stairs
Thank you Pepe and crew for keeping us safe and allowing us to try 17 different zip lines. We got our exercise on those stairs to the top! Don’t forget to wear walking shoes and bring your big repellent.

Wonderful sights, wonderful tour guide, and great food at the end!
The cave was beautiful and our tour guide was amazing! Every inch of the cave and its water was worth seeing and it was very interesting learning about its history! Our guide, Tianara, was very fun and patient with helping my mother get through the cave, she had injured knees at the time but our guide helped her through the cave! It was a wonderful experience, especially if you’re like me and love cave systems! I would add pictures but unfortunately you are not allowed to bring cameras or phones inside, but the team takes photos of you that you can purchase if you want pictures!

    So much fun!
This was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. But be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs. The views were amazing! but what definitely made the tour even better was Chino and his crew! They made the experience even more fun. They explained everything very well as in the do's and don'ts, and even gave demonstrations of them. If you are looking for something fun and exciting to do this is definitely it.

Rio secreto 5 out of 5, everything else was okay.
5 out of 5 because of how organized evening was and the equipment. The experience through the caves was our favorite part. I feel like the Tulum part was really fast, but I get it. They have to get a ton of people through. They had issues with getting a couple people there on time and made us start an hour later, so that mightve also played to it. Either way, overall the experience in Rio secreto is amazing. Expect to pay for your pictures as they won't let you being any camera or phones for safety reasons. Lunch was okay.. they ran out of tortillas, but overall will fill your belly after a long day of going through the jungle and walking through caves and swimming. Honestly, I loved the Rio secreto and I highly recommend it. One of my favorite experiences.

    Wonderful excursion to a cenote.
While at Unico in Cancun. We took an excursion to Secreto to explore a cenote. It took a little time for paperwork and getting the groups organized but once that got started everything was very efficient. We met our tour guide, David, who was great. He was very knowledgeable about the Cenote and cared about keeping the ecology of the care system for the future. The food after the tour was very basic Mexican food. We were accompanied by a photographer, who took great pictures, but it was a bit pricey to purchase them.

    Beautiful experience
It was a beautiful experience and the guide was very professional. I would have given 5/5 if it was not for the only negative aspect: the price of the pictures. In the cave you are not allowed to take anything, and anyways it is too dark to take pictures. There will be a photographer following the group and taking amazing pictures. However, the pictures are very expensive (1 picture for 30 USD and 110USD for all of them). They tell you the price at the end of the tour, so you leave either without souvenir or with a light wallet.

Improve equipment, ATVs are old and brake down often
hard sell for unneeded items.
Only thing that saved experience was

Cenote . But we were given very little time at.
They Spent more time promoting tequila sales than allowing time in swimming site.

. I thought I would be cruising along a jungle path carefree. Only to find that it was a life-threatening experience with rocks and angles and bumps. Sharp turns, I’m amazed ATV could handle asuch abuse, and I was glad I was still alive but injured after the ordeal. Burn mark on my ankle from the heat of the motor. The scrapyard of atvs they have gives you an idea of how dangerous it can be

The tour overall was a lot of fun and offered a lot more than even we were expecting! Included a very interesting lesson in Mayan culture, an ATV ride, 2 ziplines, an extended swim in a cenote, and a small meal to cap it all off. Others have mentioned that the photos are very expensive (almost as much as the tour itself) but it was worth it as we had a large group to split the cost, plus you receive a very large quantity of photos (for us it was around 400). Our guide Luis was very enjoyable and an overall great time and I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting!
